Pls this is for all sabi mama's.
Can we pls share the things we did to get our body almost back to its original sef (even though that might not be 100 percent possible) after delivery?

So we new mamas can learn one or two things to do

If your due date is still far then you need to get to the hospital ASAP. I had similar pains where my frontal pelvis hurt so bad as of it was stuck in one place and I had to struggle to move side to side because of the pain and the doctor told me that it's a sign of preterm labor.

He gave me muscle relaxants and the whole thing disappeared in less than 48hrs. See your doctor cos from your description it sounds like what I passed through before. Preterm labor is nothing to joke with.

Unless your due date is already here and you are experiencing labor pains.

I'm just 24 weeks pregnant. It's agonizingly difficult to get out of bed, or get up from a sitting position, or even walk.
I couldn't sleep last night because of the pain.
However there are no contractions at all, though my baby's movements are really low in my pelvis, like it suddenly changed position. My water hasn't leaked at all.
I had PPGP (Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain) towards the end of my last pregnancy. This feels just like it felt then. My doctor is in another city.

Thank you all good mamas for ur good wishes and love. I wish i could mention u all but i may mistakenly skip names..but thanks so much..no evil or any form of unfortunate incident shall come near us and our family.

For the x-ray, i won't be doing it cos i will be discharged today. The pain is almost reduced to nothing and i can walk well but with a slight limp.. my baby is also doing fine.

Ok lemme rant small..the lady that hit me with her car didn't even bother to visit me throughout my stay at the hospital except from the first day since they dropped me off (she and her mum - they were both in the car)..only one yeye call from the mum yesterday..with some funny excuse on behalf of herself and her daughter... Nothing much, maybe d one your doc is talking about is d one that he would use his hands. If that it, then my dear e go pain u oh but not too much sha.
But if its ct pelvimetry, no pains at all, thats done in a diagnostic center, after d scan, you take your result

My one and only curvilicious mama john, na vigilante hold me down o na serious sleep I dey sleep during d day cos I no night na vigil tinz + dis boy gat new style of waking up ard 2:30 and not sleeping until past 5am even though he no go cry but I must also stay awake

. Just to be on the safe side try to see another doctor. Sorry about your pain.

I hope at least they paid for your medical expenses. Nigerians can like to claim right everytime even when they are obviously wrong.
That's how one drunken driver with his breath smelling so thick of alcohol nearly bashed my car from behind. The goat had the effrontery to get down and start shouting that I was at fault.

Anyway if she paid for expenses leave her for God. Many Nigerian drivers are abnormal.

So sorry cappo. You may need to see another doctor so that the pain can be managed or better still call your old doctor since he has managed you for this before. Meanwhile limit your movement. Call your office and take some days off. Do you have a help at home? Sorry o, i can imagine the pains.

Wow! The past few days have been hectic. Vigilante is so real. Thanks so much mamas for all your kind wishes, likes and support, I can't begin to mention names because of time. We are all doing fine. I didn't do anything special and I can say am almost back to my normal shape,weight just 3weeks postnatal infarct my Tommy is almost back to its normal size(though I tied it few days after delivery and I pressed it with hot water)

Ppl that did something special are coming. Me didn't do nothing. I tied my tummy for just 2 days and pressed with hot water once and I think my tummy is even flatter than pre pregnancy. I eat my normal food- forget the eating for 2 thing. So me did not do anything special sha. Maybe vigilante too helped me not enough sleep.

I went to the hospital on Tuesday for my 38weeks appointment. They did a scan aand said baby was measuring big and that I should consider being induced or continue till my due date but to remember it might be difficult to push a big baby out. Well I was diagnosed of Gestational Diabetes so that was why the doctor offered induction because the scan showed baby was already measuring big so I agreed and I was asked to come the next day. Got there the next day being Wednesday, checked in and waited till about 6pm for the first dose of prostins or whatever it was called to be inserted, then few hours later I started contracting really bad, the doctor came and examined me and said cervix was soft and thinning but not dilated yet. She inserted the second dose and the pain was so bad I had to ask for pain relief, got it and it helped, I slept and woke up to bad bad contractions by 4am Thursday morning and it continued till I was check hours later 2 cm dilated, then 4, then 6 and then 8... and then the doctor came in and said baby heart beat was dropping with every contraction and if I’ll consider CS, I was like , I was already getting the urge to push so he did a test on the baby by drawing blood to see if the baby is really stressed or if he can stay in another 30mins to 1hr and after that if Baby is not yet born we have to go to the theatre, he left and the midwife checked me again and I was 9 and already pushing even and then less that 5 pushes my Tomtom came out before the doctor came back . They did a scan aand o push so he did a test on the baby by drawing blood to see if the baby is really stressed or if he can stay in another 30mins to 1hr and after that if Baby is not yet born we have to go to the theatre, he left and the midwife checked me again and I was 9 and already pushing even and then less that 5 pushes my Tomtom came out before the doctor came back . Wasn’t even as big as they thought. 3 small tears and I was stitched, had a bath and held my baby... so precious ...

I used an head tie from one of my clothes to tie. Just tie it round ur tummy and tie into a knot at d back. Make it tight but u must not be uncomfortable in it.
