This is to help people with clarity on WES evaulation of ICAN ACA and ATS. I got my WES eca report today and here is the summary:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Completion of a college-level certificate (one year), bachelor's degree
(three years), and bachelor's degree (four years)

I evaluated my BSc, ATS and ACA credentials. The year for the ICAN ACA credential is 2010 which is old syllabus by the way.

I hope this helps.

Nice one! Congrats! Let me quote for future reference. wink

Yes you are right. ICAN is the body that conducts both ACA and ATS and ATS is for non-accountants and every beginner. Basically to write ATS, all you need is your first school leaving cert (WAEC).

Good. Are there folks who don't have ATS? I think there is another body, apart from ICAN, right?

When you register it, you will be given a tracking code I don't think it works anyways. I sent a document to Australia using NIPOST and it got delivered in less than three weeks. Also, I sent my transcript from UK to WES using royal mail and it took a month. So relax, it will be delivered NIPOST is effective. But instead u can fax ur certificate as some1 suggested.
sleekchic:
Register it, How do you mean please, how much did you pay to send your certificate to WES using NIPOST? I sent mine since last month, it's over 20 working days and my profile still says 'awaiting documents' but I only paid 450naira so I can't really complain.

Kontagious:
Use an imaginary score - 8777 in LRWS. Aim for nothing less than this in your actual test.

thank you

could NIM certificate serve as ECA

Thanks for this information. I think you are consistent enough and your getting ADR shows they need clarification (or as the case may be stronger proof of eligibility). Since you have other documents requested such as you and your spouse's passport and all, then the problem isn't so much your data as my check as you or i may think.

I read you have gotten some .xls format documents showing past payments, this should suffice with a letter of explanation as to why you didn't include or use the job to get into the pool in the first place.

Apologies for any typos and all the best with your Application.

Please could you help to clarify ?

Good day house, pls I have a question and I will be glad if anyone can put me through.
We are planning to apply for this Canadian express entry, I as the wife holds a bachelor degree in geography and planning but I have been working as a security officer for the past 7years, I'm 34years old. My husband Is a teacher but he has NCE, Bachelor of education and master of public administration but he's already 40years old. My question is, can I be the principal applicant considering age factor? But my fear is the fact that my working experience is different from my degree, though saw something like security when I checked NOC. Someone should pls put me through. Thanks

Even though id like to refer you back to page one, lemme be nice here. grin

using assumptions that the both of you evaluate your degrees and score at least LSWR 8777 in IELTS,

your husband as the PA scores 415 (more points for education, but age has cut off that advantage)

Your scores using you as PA is 408 (less points for education)

at this juncture, it is safe to say your coming to canada will be through the PNP route as the scores from the last few rounds has been hovering around 430+. No one knows how soon it may crash again (it was 412 in April).

Please help my friend.

He was diagnosed of Hepatitis B in 2014, liver function tests, viral load and scan were done and the specialist (doctor) confirmed everything was okay and he can’t transfer it to others. This is 2017 and he is awaiting ITA, tried to do another set of tests to confirm the parameters are okay, but the specialist requested for a new referral letter before they can attend to him.

The question is, should he wait till the medical period in order to get a referral letter or should he meet a doctor (from HMO) to get a new letter?

Assuming you do not have any siblings in Canada and both of you write IELTS obtaining a minimum of 8777 in LRWS
Hubby has 415 while you have 408 points.

Good afternoon people! Please I'm in a fix and really don't know what to do.
British Council is driving me crazy. I paid for 2nd December IELTS on 17th on November, 4 days after the day I reserved the space. I sent my evidence of payment to the email they specified.
Now I got a cancellation on Monday. Saying I haven't paid. I have called their customer care like a billion times since Monday. No response. I've sent emails, Facebook messages, tweeted at them countless times and these incompetent people still haven't responded.
Now im in abuja and i registered for the one in port Harcourt. I don't know if the office here in Abuja will attend to me if i can get there to complain!
Please I need y'alls opinion!

You can recheck. Your score cannot be 517 since you don't have Canadian work experience/credential.

Hello house,

I have problems obtaining PCC from UAE. The system requires one to use only Master card issued in GCC and also to use a valid UAE phone number. My representative in Dubai has been on it since Monday and the government officials are not helping matters. What can I do about this as I have gotten ITA already?

Unlike what obtained for EE during its early phase (2015-Late 2016), you don't get a medical referral letter anymore and it's now mostly done with upfront medicals. Thus, you should check the cic approved panel physician for your country of residence and go there for the medicals. Don't wait for a medical form from cic, you probably won't get one.
