They believe in trinity, Muslims consider that polytheism
They read the bible not the quran
They call mary mother of GOD, we Muslims believe God is one, he has no father nor mother
They call Jesus the begotten son, in islam God is neither begotten not does he begets.
They call their place of worship a CHURCH and not a masjid
Our faith and principles are completely different amd there is no similarity between us in no way

The idea about facing One Direction in Islam is so our prayers will be coordinated and all Muslims will face the same place while prayer cos a rich and influential man might want to build a mosque and decide to face it towards his house or his mother's grave or anywhere else.. Its just for coodination... Everything in islam is coordinated and no one can come and claim he has a better idea of how it should be done... If a religion is from God, God himself should give us how he wants to be worshipped and thats islam... Everything we do is backed by the Quran and hadith and not some Men's wishes... But you see, in Nigeria that the kaaba is far from us or anyother part of the world and we cant say that this is its position, we re asked to face the east.... So are u going to say we re worshipping the EAST TOO grin

But when u re in a place where you can locate the East
easily.. You can face Anywhere. Cos allah said in surah rahman chapter 55 that he is the lord of two east and two west...
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 177:
لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّائِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُوا وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ

It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allah, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to Al-Masakin (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and gives the Zakat, and who fulfill their covenant when they make it, and who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.) in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are Al-Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2).

You need some church history. The Church that Christ built witnessed a division in 451 AD in the Chalcedon Council. The Church split into the The Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Western Churches. The Oriental Orthodox Churches continued in the ways of the Early Church while the Western Church split again in 1054 AD into the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Churches.

If you are looking for the Church that Christ built, you will have to look for the Oriental Orthodox Churches. Every other church today, including the Catholic Church, are man-made.

it is better I continue worshipping my idol in Catholic Church than those in Pentecostal church that worship there pastor.

Who told you it is not about the Church? Don't you know that the Church you worship with can lead you astray?

The Bible says false prophets will come and lead many astray. The Church may not matter for those who study the Word and trust the Holy Spirit for counsel. But how many Christians study the Word. They all cling to the words from the mouths of their Daddies in the Lord.

All these Catholic bashing is really old. Suffice it to say, before I step one toe in a chair worshipping, pastor worshiping Pentecostal church, I'd become agnostic. One look at christianity and 'christians' ( read: pentecostal) in Nigeria is enough to turn one off. I'd rather remain Catholic, thank you very much. The more traditionally Roman Catholic, the better for me.

I'm not disputing you that some Muslims worship human beings but All christians are idol worshippers. they believe in more than one God. some one of them worship jesus as their God. some of them worship Mary.their God died as acclaimed by them also ressurected. imagine e their God died. if your God can be dying like that means I can commit a sin without your God knowing because he may also die. Who are the Idol worshippers?
