Sorry I've been missing from here. We've registered for antenatal and things are going smoothly by the grace of God.

Pls to all mamas, is there anything specific to look out for when buying baby's bag. Or should it just be a bag that can take some things. I know it should have several compartments but anything else. It also shouldn't be too big or too small.

Would one need to wash it from time to time? meaning the inside should be layered with nylon. Does it have to be padded? All those sort of questions. Or it's just a bag, no specific features are required.

In all my years of buying baby bags since the days of Father Abraham, i have never seen one that lasted eight months without the inner lining tearing to shreds. I've tried so many, including popular brand names. At some point i always resorted to using regular handbags that were big enough to contain my baby's "luggage", and were at the same time trendy.

So if you do want a baby bag, the inside will have a waterproof lining. You won't need to clean it too often, only when it's dirty. They are usually padded.
Look for something with more than one compartment so you can separate food things from spare clothes and diapers. It should also be able to contain your small flask.

Ụda but you can use scent leaf, enough pepper for your pepper soup in place of utazi and uziza cos to me utazi and ụda are the same thing.

Try JuJuBe diaper bags and you will testify. It's a bit expensive but it lasts a lot. My friend used her's for three kids and she still sold it after she was done with it.

It depends on what your needs on a diaper bag are, the amount of things you cart around and how much your budget is. You should look for a bag that has several compartments (for bottles, wipes, diapers, binky, clothes, toys and so on). It should be a bit padded and the inner material should be washable. I usually throw mine in the machine and it comes out bright and sparkly.

Also depending on your person, if you're someone like me who still carries a purse/bag plus diaper bag or someone who travels, work or something, you might try to consider a backpack diaper bag. I like for my hands to be free to carry the baby/push the stroller/carry my own purse or something like that. Look for materials that repel water and not one that will soak water in because accidents and spills occur. You don't want your diaper bag to smell like rotten milk after milk leaks in it.

It should not be too big or too small, cos when it's too big, you will tend to over-pack unnecessary stuff to accommodate for the space and carrying a diaper bag can get heavy after a while.

I saw an ad about a team of lawyers calling out for women that have used Johnson and Johnson talc powder and reacted to it to contact them for claims. Apparently, women have used this powder and come down with Ovarian cancer! Inspite of all the settlements this company has made in the U.S, they’re still selling it and they’ve been aware for over 3 decades that talc is linked with ovarian cancer.
Please and please, don’t use this product on your body or for your babies. Someone help me post this on the newborn thread as well.

Nne eh,something is about hitting me hard,some kids are coming over to my house for vacation. the most ish is that one of the kids is a year and 5months,almost same age with josh. how i go manage this two toddlers kwanu?? hubby said the eldest one which is about 10 or 11 yrs will handle him but me i no know nah.
i am almost 36weeks gone,and all things are happening to me now.
