PaChukwudi44: you talk dispossessing people off their land. ask yourself. ask yourself.. are they dispossessing people for the fun of it or their hands are being pushed by factors I highlighted earlier in the post . again. Dessertification. climate change. global warming. depletion of the ozone layer. all these are not the making of Fulani herdsmen and correcting it should have been under the PDP administration if they had foresight. Long and short. To return herdsmen to their place up north. The Government must fight to reclaim the Desert ravaging 11 states in core Northern Nigeria.. |

PaChukwudi44: then it would be said of Nigeria as a country that self-destructs... hazards to themselves.. I have said it over and again. We are not a "United States of Nigeria" but an " Amalgamated States of Nigeria".. Unity is far from Nigeria. |

PStacks: so the gibberish you posted here is enough to justify taking another man's property so that cows can survive? You expect me to reason with you when am not a cow? The only reasons something like this is happening in the first place is because we have a cow as president. Can you try such in Ghana? 1 Like |

PaChukwudi44: Don't mind that retarde'd character. His evil Fulani killer herdsmen have been burning entire communities to the ground, killing innocent men, women and children, and he is here justifying their brigandage and killing, because they are facing "Desertification, climate change, global warming, depletion of the ozone layer etc." Do farmers, grain millers, goat rearers, poultry owners, fish farm breeders and those in other agro-allied professions, not face the same thing? Are they not affected by the ozone layer and global warming, as well? He is trying to make it seem as if the Fulani herdsmen are justified for engaging in their killing sprees, simply because they want to survive. How sick! Don't other people want to survive, or aren't they also entitled to have a peaceful life? He has not brought up any suggestions on how to tackle the cattle rustling caused by the Fulani killer herdsmen. Instead, he is making stuvpid advocacy online. Wubbish! 1 Like |

Why did your brother Nnamdi Kanu chicken out? calling the President of the federal republic a cow is the height of disrespect and as such I have no business dealing with you no longer. if you knew better than the cow, you should be occupying the number 1 seat of the land.. |

PaChukwudi44: Am sure his paymasters have not considered that angle. Boko Haram will be child's play, by the time regional militias spring up. There are almost 18 different tribes in the Middle Belt. Let us see how the herdsmen will cope then. Wubbish people! 1 Like |

PStacks: You are the one that failed to receive an education, despite the amount spent on your school fees. Global warming has affected the yield of crops and the maturity of the livestock, that are reared in the Middle Belt. Global warming, has led to rises in temperature and unbearable heat. You find crops withering on farmlands, and rotting inside barns, due to high temperatures and because of inadequate water. Streams are drying up, and ponds are dead in many areas of the MB. Too many areas have been characterised by poor farm yields, along with smaller sizes and quality of crops. Even pigs, rabbits, poultry, and other livestock are not spared, as many of them develop diseases due to the heat. Soil quality has also been degraded on arable land and pasture land, in addition to the natural nutrient deficiencies in the soil. This has had a negative effect on the amount of land suitable for farming, as well as the amount of crops that can be planted or harvested from such land. Soil fertility is declining by the year, through nutrient mining “whereby nutrients are removed over the harvest period, and lost through leaching, mining or other means." Global warming with shifting patterns of rainfall and incidences of extreme weather events, has also contributed to declines in crop yields and human displacement. Flash floods occur after a rainfall, suddenly over-sweeping farmlands and burying homes under water, due to climate change. When such things happen, farmers lose entire hectares of crops planted over several weeks. For example, in 2012 and 2015, there were massive floods all over Kogi, Benue, Taraba, Niger etc, due to climate changes. Several people lost their homes, livestock etc. Many communities till date have not recovered fully. I do not want to go on and on, because it is a sad story. Now to compound their losses, Fulani herdsmen and cattle are ravaging their farms. And you are here, thinking farmers are not affected. Collect a refund from your teachers, please! You learnt nothing. 1 Like |

OP You must be joking. Do you mean PDP also caused this? To begin with, blaming all the woes of Nigeria on PDP's 16 years has not only become a worn-out cliche but puts this govenrment in a bad light. We knew the shortcomings of PDP when GEJ was voted out. Buhari presented himself as the solution. And you all voted him in. To the crux of the matter, i first heard of ecological funds during OBJ's tenure. That was the beginning of PDP. There were various instances where state governments were accused of diverting such funds. Ali Modu Sherrif of Borno (ANPP-PDP-APC 2003-2011), George Akume (PDP- APC) were some of such governors. http://nigerianpilot.com/ecological-fund-the-big-fraud/ 1 Like |

Re: Cattle Colonies, Herdsmen Attacks And Stack Realities. by pcicero(m): 10:04pm On Jan 22, 2018 |
PStacks: You might need to understand that his taciturn attitude towards issues made him a target. Some of us blamed Goodluck for allowing Boko Haram to fester. They even shared his picture dancing at a Kano rally after some attacks. It was convenient to blame Jonathan then for what Ali Modu and other governors allowed to grow under their watch. Why do people now develop headache when same is extended to Buhari? |

PStacks:My brother some advice for you: Just leave these people alone. These are not people who are sympathetic to the victims of the herdsmen and farmers clashes. These are people who have been angry since 2015 and will be angry until pdp returns to power. These are Nnamdi Kanu worshippers who have been angry since he was silenced and driven away to oblivion. Never mind them pretending to be patriotic and caring about the victims. No amount of articles you write would remove the hate. Leave them alone. No amount of insults on nairaland would make Buhari lose 2019. Just ignore them. 1 Like |
