Please do I need to book appointment at vfs abuja to submit visitor visa application?

Secondly, after printing out the application forms do I staple them to supporting documents?

Thirdly, pls what is the address of the visa application centre in abuja? Would I pay extra fees for the submission?

Have you completed the online application?

Don't staple them because they will be scanned at visa centre

Thanks so much @justwise. A friend mentioned to me today to consider possibility of submitting mum's application when she gets to US and submit dad's own here in naija. Do you think someone on visiting visa in the US can make such application?

The last was 2014 since then i haven't applied. what really happened was that my dad resides in the UK and he got a green paper. At the same time i'm having a guardian in the UK who is my dad teacher in Nigeria in the 1960s a white-man with British identity my dad reside with him in the UK. he wants me to visit him in the uk he is the sponsor er of my visit to the uk so he will responsible for my all my financial responsibility in the uk although he was the taking care of my welfare and education in Nigeria he plays a fathers role.but the British authority rejected my visa then saying i have no social economy tie to nigeria that there's no probabilities that i will return after my visit to the uk. then my dad and my guardian sent all the required document like bank statement of account worth of 80,000 pounds. they said i don't have asset in nigeria but i don't where they expect a student like me to have asset since i am not working i'm only a dependent(i have enclosed a copy of the refusal letter)
Now i have just concluded my university education waiting to go for my NYSC in november 2018. but i wanna visit the UK for my holiday till november which i will come back for my service. i have spoken to dad and guardian about it he has agreed to financed everything and send all the required document to me. but the problem i'm having now is that my finances are not stable i only got 45,000 a month for my allowance from my guardian so i don't have so much saving since i don't have any work. please i will really need your advise on what to do about getting this visit visa. waiting patiently for you advice on this issue thanks

Thanks for the response. How do I contact them?

Hello all,
Really need help here.
I work for the ministry so not a great amount of pay, my brother and sister is in the UK and i was hoping to spend some weeks there with my hubby.
I have been to the UK before.

My brother is sponsoring the flight, accommodation etc

He provided all supporting statement, bank details, pay slip, mortgage etc.

i added my savings and current account statement, issue is that i receive my salary in one account and move everything to a different account, one of my statement showed account balance of N500 because the money was moved to the other account.

I got refused because it shows the account was low.

can i do the following?
1. reapply saying he is sponsoring everything so no need to submit my statement?
2. reapply without showing the account that the showed the low balance?

has anyone been successful for applying for visit visa stating full sponsorship by relative abroad without adding any person bank details?

Thanks

Thank you Mr. Justwise and God bless you. She has filled the online application. Can she make payment at TLS? Would she go to the TLS centre with copies of the filled forms, supporting docs and payment copies or does she need to book appointment before going to TLS?

Secondly, after filling forms online, can she go to TLS on walk in basis to make payment and do biometrics?

Also how many trips does one need to make to TLS , is it 2?

Hello Forum! Please help point me to the right direction. I found out last week that I have a 3 year old daughter in Nigeria from a past relationship. I am not with the mother. I hold dual citizenship i.e Nigeria and the UK. It is my intention to bring my daughter to the UK to be close to me. I have spoken to her mum at length and we have both agreed the best choice for them to move to the UK. I am worried I might have to marry the mother, I dont want to do that as we are two different people. how can I go about this?

My profile: I work as a business analyst in the UK with above average pay, dont really have a lot of cash savings as I have recently purchase a property in Nigeria for my mum. I can afford to rent a property for them to stay once they are here.

what are my options? Many Thanks in advance

It will be difficult if not impossible to bring you daughter and her mother into the UK via the visitor visa route. Since you’re not ready to marry her, then you will have to think of other creative ways.

I would suggest the following options:
1. Apply for your daughter British passport. You will need a lot of documentation beside her Nigerian Birth certificate. You may also be required to do a DNA test.
2. If the mother of your daughter has strong ties to Nigeria. She can apply on her own right to visit the UK without involving you as a sponsor. When she get into the UK she can apply to remain as a mother of British Citizen.

In summary your daughter is the key to her mother relocating to the UK. However, She must get her British passport first through you for this work. @Justwise and other will be able to offer other options.

Morning my people . Apologies for the long post. Just want it to make sense. Please I need advice from experienced members or those who had gone through similar process.

I am a British citizen due to give birth in August . From known complications it will be a scheduled Csection. I also have a little boy if 2 and live with my husband. I need extra help at the time of Delivery especially with my little one at home and husband in the hospital.

So I want to invite my senior sister to the UK during the time of delivery for just a couple of weeks. Will be fully sponsoring the trip and paying all travel and maintenance costs as part of the visit.

my sister is self employed and owns a school registered only in her name.

I am aware of the docs to submit but concerned around her evidence of income in Nigeria and how to state it. I have no experience on self employment route.

So she has a business account for the school and all fees paid into the account. Teacher salaries are paid from the account too. She also does personal spendings from the account. She doesn’t pay herself any salary. She just spends from the account as required.

Here are my issues that I need advice on please:
1. How will I state what her income is please as she doesn’t pay herself any salary.
2. She has a savings account that she sometimes transfers money to and also spends the money for the household (she is currently the breadwinner). So this account has no useful balance. Probably less than 100k. I want to avoid adding this statement to the application which will probably cause more harm than good. Is this a good idea?
3. As per point 2 , it means the business account will be the only bank account statement being submitted. Will this be an issue?
4. On the form, it asks for the cost of travel to the applicant , is it safe to say £0 as I will be fully sponsoring the trip. On the other hand , if we state £250 will be business account be a good evidence of where the proof of funds will come from?
5. On the form it also asks for monthly spendings and income, can the business account which is the only account statement being submitted be a good evidence?

I will highly appreciate responses to my question .

Please also see list of docs being submitted from the applicant side . Is there anything else to add?
1. Business CAC
2. School registration papers and certificates
3. Business bank account in school name.
4. Business up-to date Tax payment receipts
5. Marriage certificate
6. All Children birth certificates
7. Evidence of owing Home In husband’s name
8. Nepa bill or any utility bill in husband’s name

Note I am fully sponsoring so will be submitting my bank details, payslips etc...

The ECO does not believe that you will return back to Nigeria if given a visa because you don't have a strong tie to Nigeria.

Its very difficult for a student to be given a visa especially if you are not a teenager or from an above average family

Your options are limited here because of her age and for the fact that you are not married to her mum and not willing to do so.

The applicant should submit both business and personal bank statements in addition to what you have listed. The application should focus more on the reason for her visit to be successful. So you will need to show the ECO why you need her to be in the UK at that time. I will suggest you include doctors report, pre natal visits, etc.
