Pls Treat as Urgent
Mods! Mods!! Mods!!!
I want to say thanks to the mods of this section, and everyother persons that have been proferring solutions to various problems posted here.

Pls, I submitted my Standard Visitor's visa on the 12th of June, 2018, and no the Decision box on my TLS page hasnt yet been ticked, neither have l recieved any email. Is there anybody who has experienced such long delays before and what can l do to speed things up?
Is there a need to worry about anything, prolly missing documents?
Pls pardon my questions, l am just a lil bit distraught right now.

Thanks

Hey, my friend submitted his on 20th June and got an email one month later saying the they can't meet up with the standard processing time because the application wasn't straightforward. As far he's concerned the application straightforward. He wants to go and write his PLAB exam. He checked the internet and found some comments from people who said it's normally a standard email they send out when don't meet up with the standard processing time.

Two days ago, he sent an email to UK visa immigration and they escalated it. They said he should give them 15 working days from the day of escalation. And his exam date is fast approaching.

What's the update on yours?

Unfortunately, nothing at the moment. I still had to call them this morning only for them to tell me they have raised another escalation, after the initial escalation, amd guess what, it is going to take another freaking 15 working days.
Jokes on them.
It is not thier fault. Na Nigeria cause am. Anyways l am still hopeful. They also sent me the "Not straightforward mail last week". But two friends got thier within 7-8 days of that kinda mail. Hence why l am hopefully lookong forward to this week.

We plan marrying in less than 6 months time from now

Note you can only use this visa to travel to UK and get married. You cannot stay back in the UK with a marriage visitor visa. You will still need to leave the UK and return to Nigeria to apply for spouse visa to live in the UK with your partner. My advise is that you do the marriage here in Nigeria and then apply for spouse visa.

Why click NO when you were refused a visa in 2014?

My brother don't go and pay visa fee for 10years ban.
Put all your refusals as it won't affect your application in as much you have a good reason. My one kobo.

If you have been in this business for some time and you have records of your previous transactions, put them all together and show cause in your application covering letter why you need to undertake the trip you propose.

Address specifically how this trip will be of help to you in your business and why you feel the expenditure of funds on this trip is necessary.

You need to give reasons for your departure from your previous way of doing business which apparently did not require travel as you have obviously managed well so far as witnessed by your accumulation of some thirty millions of naira.

Naturally you also need to pay heed to the other elements of successful applications which you can glean from a reading of this thread.

It goes without saying that in this current atmosphere only the most solid of reasons will get you a visa to undertake a business trip which you've never made previously for your business purposes, so ensure you put forward the most cogent you have.

thank you very much , i have a company name xxxx nig limited , i have never paid tax i want to pay but firs is giving me demand i cannot meet within a short time and i have been running the company account since 2016 and currenly have acct balance above 30 million naira , can i submit my cac certificate without tax clearance certificate ?

Hello All, Please I need your advice.

I overstayed in the US for 7months. So I was refused when trying to Renew my US Visa, then I tried applying for Canada and I lied about being refused any visa application, so I was denied by Canada as well. Now my fear is will this affect renewing my UK visa as it already expired but I never overstayed.

You are likely to get refuse, if you rely only on corporate bank account. Unless you can proof with documents that your trip is business related. The purpose of visit is pleasure so you need to use your personal account for the trip!

Be honest with your refusal and you will be fine. If you have not breached any immigration laws in the UK, then you have nothing to fear. You application will be assessed using your present circumstances.

Yes you would have to explain any unusual deposit into your personal account that not consistent with your account inflow.
