Yeah I did check on save. It said they have sent the application to Maryland since July 3. So I am thinking of going to their office for update.

Update on my Texas Drivers License

I went to renew my Drivers License and it went well. My license wasnt renewed at the spot because I don't have greencard or workpermit. However they requested for my NOA1 for the pending AOS application and said they'll get back to me in a weeks time.

So what they will do is verify my documents and if okay will send me a mail confirming my successful verification. Then I will use that mail when going to the Drivers License office to get a new License. It should be valid for one year. Will update you guys.

Yes, one year. It's only when you get the greencard that a six year validity is given.

That's Texas for you. They are very conservative. In fact some drivers license office here in Texas may not even grant your request for drivers license until you get workers permit and/or greencard. I think I'm even lucky to be considered for a possible one year valid drivers license.

I hear some States are even more strict. However there are also very lenient States.

1st update after i submitted the documents was on the 26th of June.
2nd update was on July 12.

No other update since then. I really don't know how meaningful those updates on the ceac website are

In preparation for interview, someone should please elaborate what “Tell me what you know about her” means. It’s a bit tricky to me & seeing that on @sharpman1 transcript.

Does it mean her qualities and attributes or the basic information you know about?

@Dutchleez, I think it's both her attributes and basic info. But I'll advice not to be too detailed as you could end up boxing yourself into a corner. Just 3 to 5 sentences should suffice in my own opinion. Let the CO probe for more if he/she wants more info.
