Hmm I don't see any reason to complain, you're just a slim-built person

Oh to add muscle mass you have to take more protein

Meat, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, wholemeal cereals, milk/yoghurt

What region of the country do you hail from? What kind of food do they eat there...

You'll increase your protein intake In combination with weight-bearing exercise

Ie lifting weights

On second thoughts You could probably do with some exercises to lift your pecs and make your shoulders a bit bigger. Check google/YouTube

Squats and leg lifts to build your thighs

And you also need to reduce stress and get good sleep. The effort you make won't work if your body is stressed

Guys, I had to create another moniker to protect my identity. Please how can I add mass? I am just sooo skinny for my age. I am 27years, have tried eating and gymning but to no avail. I actually have a generally low appetite though but for the past 6 months, I have tried my best to eat well and even take supplements like complan milk but I cannot just add flesh.

Any tips pls?

I used to be slim too until I started doing HIIT high intensity interval training. Can't type for long sorry. Pls google it or call me to explain the details for you ok? Good luck!

na waoh bro too much junk and and biscuits aint good for the body biko.nutritious meals and fruits with vegetables is very important for ur body to boost ur immune system and make ur body look good.not being able to cook is no excuse to be eating yama yama food.

Three major thing's u need to do:
1. Drink water regularly
2. Don't delay ur breakfast and ensure u eat breakfast better than any of d day's meal
3. Improve on ur sleep.
4. Eat more of protein e.g. beans, fish, vegetables, potatoes etc

By the way u can try eating more of carbohydrates and fatty foods to gain weight if u really want to gain weight.and try to look for time to just relax and chill,stress could probably be the reason why you're not gaining weight

Your body is pre programmed to be slim. To upset that... you can use steroids.... your body will develop fast like white chickens.... muscles from head to toe.... beach body in a hurry. But one drawback.... your heart...your liver... your kidneys are not programmed to cope with the additional mass.... they will be working overtime.
Consider the repercussions....just saying.

Bro, you're not skinny...but if you want to increase muscle mass, go to a proper gym and get a trainer


Bros, e get weights wey you go lift and aerobics wey you go do, your belly will open and you'll eat like never before... Add it with a good food time table as recommended by your trainer and you're good to go

Final tip : Many small meals a day work faster than three heavy meals at once.

When it comes to height, we make use of feet, when it comes to distance, we make use of metre, when it comes to land, we make use of hectare, and so on.
You cannot really say actually. It depends on the policy or code of the profession or professional in question. For instance a quantity surveyor or civil engineer in the US, some parts of UK and ours truely Nigeria might use ft for height etc but theoretical physicists in major parts of the world stick to the SI-mkgs system.

Back to your post. All I am gonna say is that you should eat akara and akamu ( ogi) every morning.

Akara 100 naira and ogi 50 naira( already prepared).

Just do this for 1 month. I swear, you will definitely add weight.

Thanks so much. I don't like akara but will try it. Also dont know what ogi is. I am quite picky about food and this has also contributed to my sluggish weight-gaining process. The problem here is that normal foods just dont seem to work for me. I need a hack for accelerated body building.

It worked for my cousin, myself and a friend of mine at a work place.

I am from the middle belt, but resident in Lag. They eat amala, fufu, ewedu, rice,...normal nigerian food.

Are there any indoor exercises I could do? Based on my schedule, I will definately not be consistent with gymning in a formal gymn.

I have googled and schemed through HIIT and I think it would be effective. However the major limiting factor is my daily schedule and proximity. HIITs will require gymn membership and routines I must discipline myself to follow but my current schedule and location will not afford me the time and discipline to follow through with it.

I am not looking for Kurt Angle or John Cena type of build. No. My objective is just to add up a bit. Do you know of any tested and trusted supplement or/and any indoor excercise or/and gymn equipment I could easily improvise at home that could help?

Yea. Plus I am so picky about the type of food I eat and have poor appetite. Do u know of any treatment for poor appetite? I think this is the beginning of my problems.

I know...there's just no time too cook...even if I have time. Sounds like a paradox but that's how best I can explain my situation. Also, I just don't have the discipline to cook. My gas cooker is still very new, infact parts of the nylon seal is still around the gas plates.

What I need is a system that would enable me eat food/supplements (outside and from cheap & readily available sources) and exercise.

I understand that your body doesn't seem to accept the protein but are you taking enough of it? You mentioned that you mostly take junk food. Plus you need adequate rest

Lagos...at least you guys have a lot of beans dishes right? You'd try them with enough crayfish, well-seasoned fish and maybe some chicken if you can afford it . Ground crayfish is like natural protein powder

Yeah there's a lot you can do indoors. You can buy special weights and lift them when you have time and you can download weight-bearing exercise videos if you have the data. There's also a type of exercise called "Pilates", have you ever heard of it?

You're welcome, I understand...you want to build some bulk. It may still come naturally with age, but your best bet is diet and exercise
