This piece is interesting because it mentions two of the NGOs that were mentioned in the US Department of Justice indictment.

Y DONT U USE YOUR MONIKER?

ALLEN ONYEMA IS NOT A POLITICAL FIGURE LIKE TINUBU WHO LOOTS LAGOS TREASURY.

ALLEN IS A BUSINESS MAN.

ALLEGATIONS WILL SURELY COME BUT PROVING THEM IS WHERE WE SEPARATE SLANDER FROM CONVICTION.

THIS TRASH, U POSTED HERE, EXPOSES YORUBA AS THE PEOPLE BEHIND THESE ATTACK AND THEY WILL FAIL, JUST AS THEY HAVE HISTORIACLLY ALWAYS FAILED ON THEIR ECONOMIC WAR AGAINST THE IGBOS.

WATEVA U DO, WE WILL STILL COME OUT ON TOP.

Until one tribe say no to evil, corruption and stop this marginalization hullabaloo Nigeria won't escape.....

I typical Yoruba man whether Muslim or Christian will not support his kinsman to do evil...

if tinunbu is arrested today, he should be disgraced as every other political thieves....

TAFA BALOGUN FORMER I .G was a typical example to everyone who knows the story...

some people called it the cowardice in Yoruba when he was arrested without anyone complaining, whereas all tribe suffered for his action....

No nation survives when corruption is this high.....

If Mr X is having 1billion naira in his possession and spends 50, 000 daily, he would spend it for 54 years..

Let us in one voice kick against what is bad irrespective of religion or tribe.
If the accused is guilty, let him face the wrath of th law.

Afonjas firing on all cylinders. This was a man that rescued Nigerians from South Africa, of which 50-70% of them were Yorubas. SMH

Igbos/Biafrans, read replies to my post and see what afonjas are saying; calling this same man that rescued them criminal, thief, fraudster, same thing they called Innoson during his trial, only for the court to rule in his favor. In fact the court said GTB is the criminal/thief and should pay Innoson his money!

Nothing befalls you people that other people are not responsible for, especially Yoruba people.?

Some fraudulent and crooked man committed acts of fraud in America, but it's the fault of Yoruba people.

So, Yoruba people controls the US government, the FBI, the DEA, the IRS and the rest of their law enforcement agencies in the US?

Are you not giving Yoruba people too much credit and control over your existence?

I laugh off you people's absurdities most of the time, but your collective insanity is really really getting out of hand.

You see how you ignorantly exposed your tribalistic and myopic mind.

Is Yoruba the only tribe in Nigeria?

Why will Yoruba people personalize my comment?

Sometimes I cringe knowing that a lot of Igbos hate Yorubas and they also think that Yorubas hate them.Ask them to tell you why they think Yorubas hate them, they will tell you that Yorubas do not want to give them port, biafra etc.

Yorubas have consistently shown love to the Igbos more than anybody or tribe in the world but they are a tribe that wants to have everything more than the others and anybody that they cannot beat...like the Yorubas who have always been steps ahead of them...becomes their enemy.
I have never in my life hated any Igbo. Why would I hate an Igbo. Why?

Any naive Igbo that lets down his guard thinking he’s loved by the Yoruba and Fulani (like Allen Onyema), whatever they see as a consequence is solely on their heads!

It’s clear as daylight that the majority of Nigerians laughing at Onyema; happy at the indictment; suggesting the federal gov’t seize his airline; abusing all Ndigbo as a consequence of the indictment; creating thread after thread to keep the story fresh and on the front burner; and worst of all, digging up old tales by a Kuku against Onyema in a bid to try and support the US indictment and give it ‘credibility’ like the OP just did.....it’s clear the people doing all this are mainly Yoruba and core-northern-muslims! So let’s not pretend that Ndigbo are just being paranoid and crying wolf where none exists!

I’ve not read the indictment or what the Yoruba OP posted on this thread which (either by omission or commission) would help the US authorities make their case, but one has to wonder at the propriety of digging out this old story to post on this forum if you claim your intentions are entirely noble!

Presently, we can’t say one way or the other how this will go, but i think people have the right to question if this is actually one cohesive and genuine nation we’re in when a section of the country are seemingly happy and excited over the accusations levelled against their ‘fellow compatriot’ by a foreign body, and are going out of their way to already label him guilty as charged; rain abuses on his ethnicity; and fall over themselves to present the foreign body with what they think may aid their bid to secure a conviction!

SMH.....its funny that u think a government will fight a business and the business will last for 1 month......This issue is personal, that it affects your tribe doesn't mean anyone is fighting you.......go to abuja and you will see lots of innoson motors, probably more that you have in anambra......Defence Headquarters uses the brand a lot....this indictment is from the US ..and u know how they are, when he did well did house of rep gave him a standing ovation..... You people act and talk as if he was forced to the US to engage in fraudulent activities.

And talking about corruption and poor state, going by the article, the Delta Region won't be in this poor state if looters didn't loot their resources for personal gains like laundering their money to establish airlines?

The Delta Region is the most debt ridden region in Nigeria, also the highest misery index and unemployment rate in Nigeria, so what are you talking about?

You are lamenting about poor state over here, but over there, you are encouraging the same thing that responsible for the same poor state.

You can not have it both ways.

Victim mentality.... When he did well.....everyone stood up to clap for him....the Parliament headed by a Hausa and a Yoruba gave honored him....abike dabiri erewa asked him to be given a national honor....
The mirage you guys suffer from is that you feel that everyone is against you, and because of that imaginative thought, you tend to hate other tribes....
No one hates ur tribe man....get out of ur area and watch how ur tribe is flourishing in other mans land. Check out how they mix and inter-marry with other tribes. Stop spreading hate.

If Biafra was created could Onyema ever in his lifetime come in possession of such huge money? Never. Nigeria made him what he is. It is reasonable to say people like onyema are the ones sabotaging creation of Biafra. There are many onyemas amongst Ibo ethnic group.

Why do you think Nigeria is still where it is, and getting worse?

I wouldn't know much about Onyema but one thing is certain, of recent, there has been so many attacks on the South!!!

From burning business places such as markets to unbridled, uncovering of crimes particularly to the South!!!

This usually attracts so much attention such that the EFCC, DSS will suddenly become overzealous

While crimes with overwhelming evidences even here in Nigeria are deliberately overlooked and ignored by these same agencies who claimed to be fighting crimes without bias!!!

Many of you are already familiar with many of these cases

Something is not right! Something is fishy, I hope this is not another conspiracy by this government, just like the one we all witness in 2015

I rest my case!!!

I’m trying not to use words that are insulting but is it that Nigerians are that naive ? I love what this man did when Nigerians had issues in South Africa but do you think he did it out of the generosity of his heart ? Can someone please answer the question ? This man knows he’s being investigated, he knew it was time all of these things would come out, if you were in his position, wouldn’t you do what he did for Nigerians in South Africa and more ? Please answer the question in your heart. He’s a great man, he did something people wouldn’t do but at the same time let him clarify this indictment and prove them wrong. America doesn’t just investigate and churn out allegations within days, they actually do their due diligence and all of it takes time before an indictment can even be reached but that doesn’t mean the person is guilty yet. It’s the onus of his lawyers to prove him innocent.
