Nigerians are missing the main point (Interstate lockdown). This means FG will lift the lockdown on Monday and States will reopen and everyone get back to Normal life with compulsory wearing of facemask in Lagos when in the Public but NO INTERSTATE MOVEMENT My fear is Police that will be Stationed at every State borders. Can they adhere to this? Don't also forget the invisible enemy is still out there. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Atrocious spellings as usual. Are their own leaders flouting their own directives on keeping safe like we have here or choosing where to be treated? sarrki: 4 Likes |

@op and mod that your headline is misleading, it should be "Governors Agree On 14-Day National COVID-19 interstate Lockdown" Which means, there will be movements within a state AND NOT OUTSIDE A STATE 9 Likes |

sarrki:Oga, you will find disloyalty and disobedience everywhere. Nigerians are not as bad as many paint us. We are tax payers too but how do you expect them to be totally patriotic to an unpatriotic leadership that has succeeded in dividing the nation with religious and ethnic sentiments? The leadership of this country pushed her citizens to the brink of revolution. It is still loyalty and patriotism that is stopping many from being unruly 6 Likes |

sarrki: I don't understand your position! What did you mean by are we patriotic? Can a father and mother of a home/family be smokers with other loads of irresponsible behaviours and you expect their children not to toll their lanes? What about behaviours of leaders at Kiyaris' burial, should Nigerians have gone there to show they are patriotic? I keep saying, let government enforce law and order(respecting or sparing no one) which it's established for and let's see what Nigerians' behaviours will be like. 5 Likes |

Lockdown without benefits.Insecurity kills more than Covid-19.The so called governors ignored the reality and faced their desires all in the name of palliatives from FG....How long shall we remain like this? |

Why are our leaders this wicked and heartless? The stay at home order is one of the sure way of combating the spread of the virus. what on mother Earth does it takes to provide little for people to remain at home why the medical team do their work? Instead of all these selective way o palliatives, why can't they just copy what the Western countries are doing since we copy them in everything. The lockdown was copied from the developed countries, why not copy the way the provide palliatives for their people a swell. Why can't the federal government just use BVN and credit peoples account, allow one or two days for stockpiling of grains and the do a total lockdown to face this menace head-on? This government really lack the vision on what to do. You are telling people to remain indoors without any form of aid, how will that work, if not just wickedness? Am tired... 2 Likes |

Truth be told.. I wonder how many Nigerians don't have a saving to sustain them for just one or two months total lockdown so we can all beat this virus fast and go back to our normal lives. Everybody is complaining they are hungry, it leaves me wondering what the people did with their earnings. Does it mean Nigerians don't save up? Does it mean many Nigerians doesn't set funds aside for emergencies and worst case scenarios? These set of people have money to buy data and be flying their account numbers everywhere all over the internet. It's shameful to see. Don't get me wrong, there are real people who actually deserve this help and palliative but when majority wants to take advantage, then it's a problem. Now, you see the mentality of an average Nigerian; Entitlement.. Give such people public funds to manage, they will manage it with same mentality they have managed their personal funds, no savings and in situations of emergencies, they borrow or look for aids. Now, what's the difference between us and our leaders in relation to how we manage our resources? Aren't we who we criticize? Now, those people who survived the Nigeria civil war for more than 3 years, how did they do it? Please let us collectively assist the government to curb the virus. The government have honestly failed us but we must be sincere also with ourselves and how we conduct our lives. Aviod going out, stay home let's atleast curb this virus and our lives will go back to normal. We should all stop putting pressures on government to relax the lockdown knowing fully well what this virus can do. Let's allow these guys get it right because if finally the lockdown is lifted now, how will a place like lagos fare? Or we want people to start dropping dead on the streets or maybe overburden the medical practitioners? C'mon let us think guys. 6 Likes |

sarrki: shut up! what has the country invested in him that they want him to reciprocate? USA and other countries gives loan to students, social incentives, free education and all that. what has Nigeria invested in him that they want him to reciprocate back? back to the topic, lockdown or not, all Nigerians must be mandated to use nose cover/face mask. this is another channel to slow down this spread. Lagos state govt should in matter of urgency educate locality on the benefit and why they should use face masks now instead of unnecessary press that's not slowing down cases this is the time for prevention and not for politics, we need to be medically proactive to curb this deadly virus. educate people on face mask/nose cover now and perhaps after the mandatory order, we could see if using it would prevent the spread Lagos state govt act now 4 Likes |
