BankyGee: In the bid to sound intelligent, you ended up shooting yourself on the leg. With all you listed why the zoo isn't working, clearly proves that Nigeria was and still remains a mistake. Nigeria shouldn't have ever existed. |

gidgiddy: Because since Independence, we have lived on the myth that we have enough money, when in reality we don't. Our economy is based on selling stuff, and then using the revenue to import stuff in value higher than the value of our exports. That's why our economy is always in a bad state. And that's why I don't support true federalism or even breaking up the country. Because it is an invitation for the bigger parts to fight the smaller parts for control of raw materials. (Yes, Sudan is not invading South Sudan, but that was because they spent 10 years thrashing out the terms of secession, and people on both sides were willing to make compromises.).That's what the first Civil war was all about. Control of resources, and to be honest, if every part of Nigeria was industrial then, there probably would have been a separation long time ago. Until Nigerians and their government learn that the issue is every part of this country becoming productive, and that the biggest business of this country should be manufacturing and not resource dependency, we are going to remain backward. Most African states too are in the same way. Amalgamations....that are resource dependent. And that's a sad thing. And instead of us to develop polices and to even make the sacrifices needed to be developed, we would rather sit down and blame Lord Lugard, and refuse to use our god given brains to even manufacture one pin. 2 Likes |

BankyGee: Every Nigerian points fingers at other Nigerians for the situation of the country, forgetting that we all make this country what it is. Just check the comments on the report of that EFCC guy who exposed the 100 million naira bribe. Check the number of people condemning his actions, count the number of people supporting him and you will know the origin of Naijjas problems. Abi, na Luggard dey comment? Asides, why aren't we asking what the governor's of each state is doing? States and Local governments actually take about 50% of revenues from this country. Nobody asks what they do. We all shield OUR thieves. We say he's our brother, why have they not arrested the other thief in the North?. Abi, na Luggard cause that one? If the country splits, who will rule each region? No be all these same overfed governors and co? Every time we wail about Luggard, we should wail twice as much for ourselves 8 Likes 1 Share |

I hate crying over spilled milk can we move forward already. This is getting boring. I need action not tales by moonlight. These tales will only end in same stalemate of backward arguments that has no effective productivity on the present situation of things. 2 Likes |
