Mine has this same issue. Same year and vehicle type. On top speed, when I apply brakes, it vibrates and there's a kind of shaking on the tire as if bolts were not properly tight (which it is)

I changed all my brake pads and discs which stopped the vibration. U can try it.

Then I changed my gear oil filter and d car is just fine now

The car sometimes will not rev when you are driving it will suddenly loos power and will not perform again yet the engine keep running on a high steam.
I have tried couple number of things like. Changing the padal and the injector mouth yet it did not stop. I even went forther and changr the ECM and am still having this issue.
Please what can be done again.

Lol. Scan the transmission first. Check the transmission fluid color and level and then report back.

I scan the vehicle and Po172 code pop up. so far have change the following, the nozzles, the plugs, coolant temperature sensor, air filter, 02 sensor, Air intake, and also clean the Idle control but all to know avail. I will appreciate if you can help because am running out of options.

First of all have the egr valve cleaned by a good mechanic. Also service the injector nozzles.

On the a/c issue, u may have to replace the refrigerant. Make sure ur ac guys uses original refrigerant (gas). Ac issues are a bit delicate and difficult to proffer solutions to online. It's usually best to have your ac technician knowing what's best for ur situation and doing it.

At first it was the gear but it was fixed,one of the days I took the car out it just stopped on the road and the mechanic came to check the car and said he will change a certain switch which he did. Some of you guys whose cars don't have check engine light on might have had it taken off by whoever sold the car to you.

Quick check, turn your key to position 1 (i.e. one step) you should see the check engine light appear for about 2 seconds, then disappear. If you don't see the check engine light... the bulb has been removed or covered.

The SH-AWD light comes on together with the CHECK ENGINE light , when you turn off the ignition and turn it on again , the SH-AWD light disappears.
It doesn’t affect the movement of the vehicle as it still drive well.
The last scan I did with a friend brought the codes below.

A friend mine recently bought a Gold II Volkswagen, he has driven it for about 6months until last Saturday or so that he mentioned that it stopped at a point on the road as he was driving and refused to start.

7. Issues with the car - The car just stopped as he drove, and one he tries to start it, it starts and goes of again. When you try to Accelerate, it does not, it only goes off. The car cant move. The Brain Box become Extremely hot that one cant touch it.

The Mechanic has worked on it, Change the Cylinder, changed the brainbox, change the coil, change carburetor, changed ignition, still not working.
Help will be appreciated.
