Yes, there is 6 months validity requirements for extensions, but this is waived when the passport is reported damage or stolen.

By the March when you are in Nigeria, it's like 4 months. You can renew, it's not a problem

Also, does that restrict my travelling in any way, as I have filed an application for renewal already here in Europe.

Sorry, do you know how long renewal takes in Nigeria?

You all saying go to your embassy. Do you all know the hassle in getting appointment at Nigeria embassy in abroad?

Some times the only available appointment is in 3_6 months time.

Or you have to travel to a nearby country especially in Europe.

And the cost is outrageous.

Application fee.. 101$
Express (same day collection) ... 150 Euro

Not to talk about hotel bill, feeding, train tickets or flight.. depending from where you coming from.

Renewal of Nigeria passport abroad is a war.

I always advice those coming to Nigeria for holiday to always renew their passport in naija. Go for the 10 years validity.. it's cost about 120 thousand naira and it would save you all those stress 😬

Ok. So mine is not an expired passport, as I have until July before it expires. I want to travel to Nigeria for a week in March but I heard there's a six month validity requirement or something. Do you have any idea or know something about this?

Agriculture / Re: My New Tomatoes Farm by Sicozone(m): 5:05pm On May 20, 2020
Great one. Very Educative.

You made a comment about local and hybrid seeds. You said the local is fruiting better than the hybrid. What could be the problem and what would be your advice?
Is local better than hybrid?
When is it advisable to begin tomato farming?
What diseases should we pro actively prevent and what are the chemicals required to do such?

Thank you.

As you comment, please use this format/template

I wish I knew................

I wish I knew life was beyond causing troubles in class, jestings, making enemies, joining gangs and throwing unnecessary tantrums...........................................................when I could actually be changing and affecting lives very positively with the words of my mouth, my actions and love for my neighbor.

I wish I knew that life was beyond the songs, the movies, the trends, the dances, the pornography and many more............................when I myself could have written my own songs, books, movies, made inventions and discoveries that could have gone ahead to revolutionize the world.

I wish I knew that working hard, working smart and learning wise were pathways to the future rather than planning to get past life through cheating and stuffs..................................as life is already staring in my face the true test of what life really is.

I wish I didn't have to worry too much about appearances and looks back then, I wish I had rather spent time building my self esteem, self respect and personal skill and development...............now its almost like a struggle to get unused to what I already am used to.

And many more. Please do well to add alongside stories you may want to share. God bless you.

Education / Things You Wish You Knew In Secondary School, Now That You Know Better. by Sicozone(m): 8:39pm On Feb 07, 2020
DEAR MODS, @ olawalebabs, Fynestboi, Richiez

Beyond the fun that this topic may drive, this is a major project aimed at the betterment of the generations coming behind us and I would desire it is posted to the front page to aid this work.
All I aim at is raising a generation that will avoid the mistakes that we made in times past especially during our days in secondary school. Whether we like it or not many decisions we made at this stage in life has a great toll on who and where we are presently.
I know a few of these things but I want the general perspective of nairalanders on things you wish you knew and had done better while you were younger. Your comments would go a long way.

Thank you very much.

Business / Re: How to Make Money selling Packaged Dodo Ikire by Sicozone(m): 11:22am On Jan 09, 2019

Good evening here

i promise to continue this thread.

How to start this business.
You can do this business in 2 ways

You can either be buying from some one like me or you go to ikire and make a deal with those women, normally they count it for them if you are smart and you will guaranty them of frequent patronage they might reduce the price.

The second is doing the stuff your self. This is were the huge money is.

To be sincere you can be making 70k - 100k with this business although it depends on how large you are doing it and the way you are selling your product.

I interview one of those one recently on how much they are making to be sincere you will be amazed with what she said imagine without packaging it.

If you know any local snacks and you know how to repackage it please go ahead and give it a trier

This business is very interesting but at first it might be though but after the first 2 month of getting it right, you are good to go

Please continue. Thank you

Politics / Re: Can Fela Durotoye Fix Nigeria? Watch For His 2019 Blueprint!!! by Sicozone(m): 8:56am On May 29, 2018
IamaNigerianGuy:
Like joke, like joke, Buhari will may well win the 2019 election because of all this Fela Durotoye and Sowore nonsense.

There is a pidgin saying "slippers get size". These guys and their followers should realize that the presidency is not an entry level job. Fela Durotoye has zero political experience and constituency. Motivational speaking is not adequate preparation for high office. Despite the fact that we want change we must be political realists and recognize that seizing power is not a picnic.
Durotaiye et al can contribute to Nigeria in other capacity such as local government chairman, deputy governor, house-of-rep member or even as minister or adviser.

We must seek a seasoned candidate who can remove the WhiteWalker from Aso villa and support such a person.
If these people and their followers continue to be unrealistic, all they will succeed in doing is split the youth vote and allow the present group of incompetent old men come in a second time.
Hmmmmm....... Your words really amaze me my dear Nigerian Youth. You seek for a seasoned candidate and you water down young men such as Fela Durotoye who have dared to confront our present predicament as a nation. Oh no! This man's got beyond motivational speeches as you acclaim. He's got a vision and I'll rather stick to a man of vision than a bunch of political warlords that have delighted in nothing but looting. And let me remind you, the men you see in the political circles of today started as young men with no political records or affiliation. If you'll desire a new Nigeria, it's expedient for you to see beyond experience, it has gotten us nowhere. Apologies to elders, but if you keep using the same method and expect a different result, you are wrong. So if we must birth a new Nigeria, a young and visionary man as FD is a man to watch out for.
A New Nigeria begins with YOU & I.
I'm with FD on this.
