Politics / Re: As Accountant-General, I Acted On Approvals, Have Nothing To Fear - Fubara by Stevenbright(m): 9:24am On May 22 |
phorget: The essence of my comment is not about who to punish or not. It is to point out why we may never get it right as a country because almost everyone who get the opportunity to be in a position of authority is there for his personal interests. |

nairalandkachy1: Just imagine talk!! You aided and abetted crime, benefitted from it and yet you feel you have nothing to fear. Hmmm, Nigeria to the gutters... I only pity those who take sides with some of you whenever two politicians are at logger head. 7 Likes |

Villa12: My point is not for him to practice the opposite of those things. But they should not be the answer to this question. You know why? Every living thing has the ability to build a defense mechanism which is a natural reaction and a way to survive threatening situations. So, as a Nigerian, no matter how good you are, you must balance your your ways otherwise you will be choked because it has always been a matter of survival of the fittest, even in the animal kingdom. Disclaimer: I am not in support of vices in the society or shortcuts neither am I such kind of person but you must be vigilant to ensure you don't lose guard if you must survive in Nigeria. |

PrinceofSarcasm: They said as a Nigerian! All these things you listed make an average Nigerian to term you a dumb/dull (not smart) person. And if you are not careful, you will find it difficult to make a major breakthrough if you actually exercise these qualities. |

That is good. They should keep hoarding them in order to create artificial scarcity and later sell at a higher price. They should also keep reducing the quality and quantity of their products while increasing the prices and let's see who will soon go out of business.... 2 Likes 1 Share |

RuddyFusion: Don't mind them. Crashes like this happens in every country just like the one that killed a prominent Nigerian of resent in US, not to talk of many other military helicopters that have crashed in US this year. I guess Russia or North Korea is responsible for those ones or the God of the Palestinians use it to punish the US. Many people are so gullible and have sold their souls and ability to think for themselves to religious sentiment. |
Family / Re: How Can I Managed My Anger With My Wife. by Stevenbright(m): 9:44am On May 20 |
Paramount01: Obviously, the main issue is the fact that she doesn't open up to you about her whereabout and since you can't get that you now have to resort to holding onto knowing the whereabout of your child. It is wrong for her to be trying to avoid accountability on her whereabout to you, just like she also needs to know about your movement too. You guys need to resolve this issue because it can lead to total incommunicado in due course and that will mean the end of the marriage. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria is truly a joke!! The current government have not even spend one year in office we are dragging ourselves over the next elections when the focus should have been on what can be done right now to put the country on the right path to sustainable development. 2 Likes |

Kyng1: I got all your points. Good to know too that she is not giving you much issues at the moment and I do hope she even do better with time if nature do wish you guys to make the marriage work. Please permit me to share the following points with you. I do hope they give you better insight to life: 1. In all you do, even if it is a business venture, never put in all your capital into it. You need to keep aside about 20-30% of your total capital as a reserve fund. This fund can come handy when there are unforseen circumstances as a shock absorber to help mitigate the situation. In the absence of such a reserve fund, failure of such a venture is inevitable. 2. You need to be more vigilant in dealing with people henceforth. Once you notice any form of manipulation, you have gat to take measures to protect yourself and your resources. 3. I don't judge people but someone else's comment about your previous threads made me read up some of your previous threads. To that end, I want to say that you have to work on yourself and let go of somethings to fast track your progress in life. |

Kyng1: Guy enough of the manipulation. You don't need to apologize to anybody. What you need right now is to fix your life and your home. Truth be told, you were manipulated both by your wife and her mom. They knew they had little to contribute to the wedding but they manipulated you to do it all by trick while putting you down in front of people to make it look as if they did some while you have not done enough. The drink they are supposed to provide, they made you do it. They informed you not to worry about cooking food on the trad day while her mum used part of what you already provided for reception food to cook on that the trad day while pretending she used her resources for it just to make it look like they contributed something. So, look inward to see what you can do to start earning again. Move on and stop thinking about what you spent on the wedding. Don't even plan to return the bride price and send her away except she is making life difficult for you. Overtime, you will be fine with her except she is not ready to cooperate and make the family grow and fulfilled. Otherwise, sending her away means you will have to repeat that same process again with another woman in the nearby future. My point is first try to make the marriage work and make sure henceforth, she is not able to manipulate you again. If she refused to change for good, then you know the right thing to do for yourself. |

What was the black market exchange rate by that three days ago? The rate you both agreed on was even higher than the black market exchange rate by the time you guys did the transaction. So, he probably sensed your greed and decided to use it against you. I am just guessing ooo. I don't know him and I have never transacted with him and I don't do crypto... |

jmoore: Which kind of news is this. Okpella is in Edo state not in Kogi state. It is also not close to Okene which is in Kogi state as you claimed. After Okpella, there are still many villages e.g Igarra, Ibillo etc all in Edo state even before you get to Kogi state. And when in Kogi state, you will still pass through many villages before getting to Okene. So, correct your headline and storyline. 4 Likes |

Sewasaunt: On this, it clearly shows lack of love for the sick person. They really don't care if he survives or not. They are just there to fulfill all righteousness.
On this, the couple were being tricky not willing to pay for the services rendered them by the hospital. Someone else's comment on this already confirmed this my view.
On this, they spend so heavily not even to give the dead a befitting burial but to show off to the community and their various associations that they can also organized a big party too. 1 Like |
