The first paragraph is totally daft. If Peter Obi is to be blamed for misinformation posted by Obidients, should Tinubu also be blamed for the extreme tribal bigotry being posted by his supporters on Twitter? See how this nonsense is a slippery slope? 2 Likes |

‘Sustainable development goals’ with billions at their disposal and all they can talk about is ‘skills acquisition center’ and ‘blocks of classroom’. We know what these usually entail. Usually lackluster places for a handful of artisans to learn and ugly classroom blocks. Is that what they truly want to boast about doing? |

Lovit: The ones that enter domestic violence are the weak men. Set your boundaries. If you feel those are crossed, go for divorce and move on. And I’m not veering from the issue. Many of those who are labeled ‘toxic’ are those who are determined to be seen as equal partners in the marriage. 2 Likes |

Lovit: If you feel your wife is disrespectful to you, the law courts everywhere accept divorce petitions. Move on and marry someone else who you feel will treat you better. How is someone who is gainfully employed being ‘treated as a houseboy’? Is it when you’re at work, doing your 9-5? 99% of the time when someone argues with this ‘houseboy’ line, the man is a layabout doing nothing while the woman is hardworking. If you’re not the breadwinner in the house, you’re the partner with way more free time and you’re overseas where getting a maid or nanny is prohibitively expensive…the common sense thing is to pick up as much of the house chores as possible. If your wife works 12 hour shifts as a Nurse or care worker and you’re not working at all, why will you not take care of some stuff at home if you’re not a clown? 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Dikegodspower: You and the 65 people (so far) that liked this comment are absolute clowns, and I hope the women in your lives know you’re trash human beings. aswani: You are clearly not intelligent at all. The facts in the OP state that the man has been investigated multiple times in the past for domestic violence, the woman has been found in the past with signs of physical abuse including a bloodied lip, and the marriage has long been strained over financial issues. How you’ve parlayed all that into “the man acted out of character” is quite strange. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Nairaland has an issue with paid influencers pushing the sponsored topics…as well as mods moving obviously sponsored posts to the front page. Same way we had a flood of paid posts attacking Natasha Akpothi leading up to the elections. Yahaya Bello should go to the EFCC and have his case in court. Simple as that. |
Crime / Re: Abusive Husband Killed Wife With Skateboard by texazzpete(m): 5:08pm On Apr 25 |
Man has no stable job and is struggling with store work Wife has a stable job with decent income. Husband gets jealous and constantly accuses his more successful wife of infidelity and disrespect Husband pivots to verbal and physical abuse to stamp his dominance and then starts looking for girlfriends himself. Wife gets fed up and couple gets estranged. Angry and insecure husband then turns to violence. An oft repeated tale. Sad to see. Oh, I forgot. Nairaland and Nigerian men jump up and blame the woman. 18 Likes 7 Shares |

Religion / Re: Dangerous Attitudes Amongst Nigerian Churches In The Diaspora by texazzpete(m): 10:21am On Apr 14 |
The OP and some of you people in this thread are completely nuts. You see parents of young, overactive kids that are in church and have no nanny to take care of the kids. So the only way they themselves can focus in God’s house is to provide some form of distraction for the kids so they don’t disturb other worshippers. These are usually very small kids. Toddlers, even. A 2 year old kid isn’t going to learn anything momentous, and they have many more years ahead for you to do moral and religious instruction. OP needs to mind their business and focus on the church they went to do. 6 Likes |

BrighterSyde: You’ve just typed multiple paragraphs of dumbness here 1. The Police who are investigating the case do not consider her a suspect. You and VeryDarkMan say she is. Feel free to go and hire a private detective if you want. 2. The child is Mohbad’s. He legally acknowledged the boy as his son. You should be asking “if the child is not Mohbad’s biological son’. At the moment, For all legal intents and purposes, the boy is his sole heir 3. Im not sure which school you went to, but you believe the man can - on his own - declare someone a ‘suspect’ and demand the door orders then to undergo a procedure? Without the support of the police or government? Especially when the court knows the procedure has no bearing on determining how and where the murder was carried out? Are you on crack? 4. Geremi legally and publicly acknowledged the children as his. Until he found out via DNA test, then publicly renounced the children and split from them. This is the key step, and this is where you know you’re a dullard. Because you forgot this step happened. Most certainly he’s removed them from his will. And if he hasn’t, they still wont be able to inherit since he’s clearly disavowed them. That didn’t happen in Mohbad’s case. I get that you people distrust women. That’s fine. You’re free to test your kids DNA when you have some. Fathers have the right to. But I’m yet to see a case where grandfathers will be the one demanding DNA tests on their grandchildren. A man who hurriedly buried his son in a cramped coffin, tried to steal his son’s only plot of land from his grandson, greedily exfiltrated his son’s clothes for his personal collection and has multiple times expressed a deep desire for his son’s property is the one you’re defending and claiming is interested in solving his son’s murder. Are you this gullible in real life, or just dumb? 1 Like |
Celebrities / Re: Nobody Has The Right To Tell Me To Do A DNA Test - Mohbad’s Widow, Wunmi (video) by texazzpete(m): 10:48am On Apr 01 |
BrighterSyde: The problem for you people is that you’re not leaning on common sense here. Even if DNA shows the boy is not his biological son, it doesn’t change the fact that Mohbad acknowledged the boy publicly as his son. So inheritance is not threatened. And the Wife herself remained legally married to Mohbad at his time of death so she will still remain his inheritor too. Additionally, an adverse DNA test does not in any way implicate her in his death. The law does not work like SuperStory, sorry to burst your bubble. Culpability in murder requires a case being established. Clearly the autopsy result and the police investigation do not implicate the wife in any way. And women who birth biological children for men historically have had no qualms killing their husbands. But we should also ask why you people don’t feel distaste that the old man is so concerned about his son’s property that should not in any way belong to him. 1 Like |

Evercurious: GTFO. Where are the false tales? Did the man not take his son’s clothes and start wearing them? Did he not bury his son in a hurried manner, in a small coffin? Did he not rush to tell the press that his son dashed him his only plot of land? even though there’s no documentation to that effect? https://www.legit.ng/entertainment/celebrities/1554556-mohbads-father-finally-reveals-singer-hurriedly-buried-nigerians-react-what-a-shame/ If dem born your papa well, dispute any of these things I’ve posted here as false. kmaster007: Oya na. Go and force her to do DNA test BrighterSyde: He cannot. He has no stake in the matter, and the paternity discussion is solely between the legal parents of the boy. It’s like saying Wunmi can use the courts to order the man to do mental health tests since he’s been acting really weird since his son died. |
Celebrities / Re: Nobody Has The Right To Tell Me To Do A DNA Test - Mohbad’s Widow, Wunmi (video) by texazzpete(m): 12:47am On Apr 01 |
BrighterSyde: Again, you’re the child here. Not only is she NOT a suspect, even if the child were to not be Mohbad’s, it’s still a massive logical leap to assume that as a reason for murder. Tell me, child. Who’s going to obtain the court order? The father of Mohbad? he cannot convince any court that that’s any business of his. Mohbad’s estate will go to the wife if there’s no will. There is significant evidence that Mohbad accepted and celebrated the boy as his son when he was alive, so for all intents and legal purposes, the boy is his son. You know poorly educated people when you see them post. |

kmaster007: Why do you people keep saying things that make no sense? She’s not going to do DNA test if she doesn’t want to. You can’t force her. Nobody can. Mohbad’s father is a joker if he thinks he has a say. The young boy remain Mohbad’s heir and will take ownership of all that’s left after his agbaya grandfather has taken the clothes. 1 Like 1 Share |

Celebrities / Re: I Didn’t Ask Primeboy To Run Away, Says Mohbad’s Father by texazzpete(m): 12:40am On Mar 31 |
Mohbad was cursed with the worst parents possible sha. The dad most of all. The day after the boy died, the father rushed to bury him without his wife present. So desperate was he to bury him that he stuffed him into a small coffin, breaking his neck in the process. And then right when they were burying him, the father told the press that Mohbad promised to dash him his land. Next thing we knew the father had grabbed his son’s clothes and started wearing them. The only people who support the dad are the poverty stricken people in both body and spirit. You know them. Every single last one of them is inflicted with the curse of poverty. With no exception. The bone deep, chilling poverty that makes people see their children as ATM machines and makes old people work to cheat their grandsons of their inheritance. The father will not escape divine judgement sha. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Someone is using security agencies to harass a lady over a review of a product she bought with her own money and you’re supporting the person. What sort of home training did you get? Look at this thing babbling about dollar as if someone using our scarce forex to import tomato paste for rebadging is helping our Naira. If you want to help the naira, patronize people who use tomatoes grown in Jos to make paste for sale locally.
