PoliticsRe: PHCN Handed-Over To Strategic Core Investors by 1009ja: 1:59pm On Sep 30, 2013
This is a good development. If all goes well, more jobs would be created by the dimantling of this perenial Nigerian eye sore. Steady power supply is likely to unleash a lot of industrial potentials Nigerians are yet to see in their lifetimes. When you dimantle ineffective and unnecessary public corporations, corruption slows, industrial creativty rises, more people are employed, Nigeria benefits. Way to go GEJ. But you must begin to seriously address the rot corruption is dotting on our landscape. That is your sure way of getting the Nigerian youth fight for your re-election in 2015. You can see that the gog fathers cannot save you and guarantee your politicial aspirations. The more they loot, they more they want you to cover them and they more they still want to loot.
PoliticsRe: What Are Your Questions For The Presidential Media Chat On Sunday? by 1009ja: 8:23pm On Sep 28, 2013
MR PRESIDENT, DO YOU NOW GIVE A DAMN ABOUT DECLARING YOUR ASSETS?
DO YOU THINK THAT STATEMENT (I DON'T GIVE A DAMN) DID ANY DAMAGES TO ANY WAR BEING WAGED ON CORRUPTION?
PoliticsRe: Sahara TV Interviews President Jonathan On The Streets Of New York by 1009ja: 2:17am On Sep 26, 2013
President should have done himself a world of goodies if he has kept himself media-friendly and media-ready in these past three years. The governance by seclusion can work in Abuja where five hundred automobiles form the presidential motorcade. But in the streets of NY, heck no. He should be granting periodic press conferences as other world leaders do. After all, he has a PHD, he wrote his thesis in English and I suppose he had to make an oral defense of that thesis; so the man can speak if his life depended on it. Let the president speak sometimes. That might improve his 2015 chances if there is going to be an election. Those fools trying to shove 'our girl' Adeola aside would have a better chance on protecting their jobs and huge estacodes to the 2015 UN General Assembly trip if they prep the prez for better conferences. Nigerians want their prez to be charming and quick on his feet and smooth on his lips as well. Thats no too much to ask. If we can't get honest leaders who can be corrupt free and give a head butt to rotten governance, the least we can ask for and get would be a prez that can speak to a camera without a prepped text. Walahi!
PoliticsRe: Presidency Launches Plot To Remove Tambuwal, Others by 1009ja: 2:44am On Sep 19, 2013
DEMOCRACY - Nigeria style. If each state is allowed to control its resources and earn royalties from its natural resources, all this palava will be gone. All these thieves are only fighting for a cut of the Nigeria's public treasury. They do not have the interest of the ordinary man on the street at heart. We are not mature enough to handle 170 million heads in one pot.

Unfortunately, all these fights are not to get to power so that better governance could be provided to Nigerians. Everyone of them is looking to get to the top of the pie.
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan & Patience At Jomo Kenyatta Airport by 1009ja: 9:38pm On Sep 06, 2013
These military boys (ADCs) are so fat. Whatever happened to fitness training in our forces. How can those fat boys defend the president? By throwing their jumbo bellies over the president? If only the president was fighting corruption, he would have masses of Nigerians on the streets defending his 2015 ambition. Look at Syria. The 2011 uprising started because the inner circle was getting more corrupt and the people finally had enough.
PoliticsRe: APC Promises 40,000MW To Stop Power Outage Pains by 1009ja: 7:17pm On Aug 22, 2013
The Nasarawa state governor shot his state down for a couple of weeks while to packed his top government officials to the United States to the wedding extravaganza of his son. The Nasarawa state is reported to have lost over N1.5B (one and half billion naira) for that event. That governor is a "progressive" member of the APC. Bola AHmed Tinibu, former governor of Lagos state is a top chieftain of APC. He looted billions of dollars from Lagos and hasn't stoppped. All AC governors report finacially to him. His wife is a senator. Under AC, there is no primary, you go where Tinubu wants you to go. That is why we have a bunch of "area boys" he put in the Lagos house of assembly and the Lagos national assembly delegation at NASS. Buhari might be the siver lining in this "progressive" APC thing. But Buhari is too tribalistic to represent the interst of all Nigerians. 40,000MW between four and eight years. That tells me nothing. That is no goal setting. Between four and eight eight years tells me APC is just rambling.
EducationRe: FG Can't Meet With ASUU Demands - Okonjo-Iweala by 1009ja: 1:29am On Aug 14, 2013
And that why our graduates cannot write a simple and correct sentence in English. When politiciana are flying around in private jets, teachers are discouraged to make some sacrifices. A nation of looters. Sorry for the unborn Nigerian child.
Foreign AffairsRe: Norwegian Prime Minister Works As A Taxi Driver by 1009ja: 3:17pm On Aug 12, 2013
GEJ is smarter than the Noerwegian PM. GEJ has Deziani Allison-Madueke doing all the driving for him; that is driving the looting of the Nigeria's oil money.
Foreign AffairsRe: Norwegian Prime Minister Works As A Taxi Driver by 1009ja: 2:04pm On Aug 12, 2013
How does GEJ hear from Nigerians since the press is muscled down by dubious ownerships? Yes, the press outfits are owned by the politically connected who have used portions of their loot to establish them. Try being an independent minded journalist, you will be sacked pronto. Try being an investigative journalist in Nigeria, good luck with that and your life. What we have is the naira bundle journalism. Journalist can kill each for a political interview assignment. The brown envelope that comes from the corrupt political interviwee is to die for.
The President appears frightened to face an open, live, and unedited press conference. He only reads prepared statements where and there is no room to ask or answer questions. We are therefore left in a dark democracy; rumours are the order of the day. Government actions are not explained, people are not connected with; people's views do not matter.
Maybe GEJ should disguise himself enough to drive a taxi in Lagos or PortHarcourt. In PH, he can find out if he is more popular than Amaechi. In Lagos, the melting pot of all Nigerian ethnicities, he can truely find out what people think about the job he is doing as president.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of All Remodelled Airports Across The Country by 1009ja: 1:30pm On Aug 12, 2013
The Aviation Ministry should now work on the corrupt practices of the custom, immigration, NDLEA, Agricultural (whatever they are called and there for) personnel. Most airport employees, from the time you are dropped of to the time you board, make air travel a nightmare in all the Nigerian airports.
PoliticsRe: FEC Meeting: Jonathan Fails To Announce Cabinet Shake-up by 1009ja: 11:44pm On Aug 02, 2013
This administration might be getting a few things right. The problem is that it inherited a massive mess that opaques any positive step it takes. However, most Nigerians will agree that one thing has remained the same, the fight against corruption has been nothing but a deceitful propaganda since it began, from administration to administration. A million parties can merge, but the party that young Nigerians will fight to save their votes for will be that party that profoundly declares a serious war on corruption and shows us the result of that fight.
Because of the perceived infractural progress in Lagos, I say perceived because Lagos has one of the worst intra-state network of roads and highways, it appears that Lagos government and by extension, the party it reprsents is using all its allocated and internally generated revenue with zero corruption. Everyone knows better, not with Tinubu sitting mightily above Lagos government and all the Southwest Nigeria states he controls.
President Jonathan has misused the years he has been given by God to cleanse our society. There are people who will say he does not have the political base to do that kind of job. They say he does not have the ex-military clout to map out his own agenda. I disagree. He could have derived enourmous power from we the people. That kind of power that the IBB and OBJ will be afraid to confront. He has a few months to get it right. Nigerians will know for sure they have a government that counts when there is a frontal assault on corruption. We cannot be borrowing billions of dollars from China, mortgaging our sovereignty and future to other countries, when more billions have been looted from our public treasury by those who still flout the ill-gotten wealth and the power that has been bought with the wealth. We have a moral right to get our money back.
Muhamadu Buhari on paper looks more designated to seriously confront corruption. But he has shown in his utterances that he will not be president for all Nigerians. So President Jonathan, when he is done fighting with Amaechi and his group, can still show us that Nigerians have a future to look up to by getting to the serious job of putting fear into intending looters by going hard against the previous and the current looters.

Less oil sold, better for Nigeria. When there is less billions to steal, the poli-looters will find something else to do.
What has Nigeria to show for all the oil money? Nothing.
Foreign AffairsRe: What Are The Lessons From Egypt? by 1009ja: 4:18pm On Jul 04, 2013
Poverty and illiteracy are holding Nigeria back from true democracy.
The corrupt politicians prey on the ill-developed political head of the average Nigerian.
A few naira notes and their rented thugs help them stuff a ballot box and the fake results get announced
by an equally corrupt and inept INEC, often headed by a vice chancelor of a university who has perfected his or
her own corrupt ways by extorting money from students via illegal fees and handout enforcements. And the people have to live with the looting gangsters masquerading as political leaders from Abuja to all the states. Imagine house helps stole $200,000 cash from the bedroom of Goodswill Akpabio. Since when did Nigeria's official currency become the US dollar?
And the cycle continues. Consolation! Every bad dream comes to an end upon awakeness. Mubarak did whatever
he liked from 1981 till 2011. And wham, the Egyptians had enough. I have tremendous confidence that Nigerians
are going to be TOTALLY fed up pretty soon and there will be that one moment when one SINGLE Nigerian will ignite this gun powder that has been boiling beneath and in every Nigerian heart. The ethnic crap that the politicians have used to perpetuate themselves will not be strong enough to hold back the unleashing demand for true Nigerian freedom. CORRUPTION by the political elite is driving the total disdain for the government of the people of Nigeria by the masses at all levels. The EFCC can keep fooling itself, filling the pages of newspapers with how many Yahoo Yahoo boys it is arresting. It cannot fool Nigerians. We know who are stealing our public money. They are not the Yahoo Yahoo boys.

PoliticsRe: Fani-Kayode - Jonathan Will Divide Nigeria If He Loses In 2015 by 1009ja: 2:41am On Jun 26, 2013
It is only in Nigeria that indicted criminals who stole billions of dollars of state treasury will shamelessly continue to seek relevance where there is none. The Nigerian nation and its institutions are weak; enabling fools like Fani-Kayode to be prostituting themselves around.

When the war starts, David Mark and his fellow looters will jet out to foreign lands where they hid their loot, leaving poor people to finish themselves. GEJ and his family will jet to West Indies where his children have always wanted to relocate.
PoliticsRe: Which State Is The Most Accomodating In Nigeria by 1009ja: 1:42pm On Jun 04, 2013
Certainly not Lagos, not even Abuja (not a state).
There is no state in Nigeria where non natives have been elected
into any political office. Lagos is worst offender in this case.
With non Yoruba percentage of Lagos population close to 40%,
the Lagos state national assembly delegation, the state house of
assembly, the local government chairmen and council members, all governor's
political appointees are all Yorubas. No state in the nation has its non
native population close to that of Lagos. Maybe accomodating has a new meaning.
Check out the Lagos roads in the areas heavily populated by non natives, the Fashola
miracle has yet to affect them.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo To Jonathan - I Will Fight Back In 2015 by 1009ja: 12:35am On Jun 02, 2013
GEJ had the opportunity to build his own support base amongst Nigerian youths. He failed to and joined in the looting of Nigeria's treasury instead, albeit quietly, through Mrs. Deziani-Madueke, his close oil minister. He would have the millions of Nigerian youths who have been yawning for a real corruption fight kicking doors for him by now. He chose to maintain the status quo, hoping the looting lords have been perceified and 2015 assured. Thieves are never satisfied, he failed to learn. Nigerian youths will make his 2015 dreams a cake walk once they see he has began a transparent and purposeful corruption fight.
