http://www.investingdaily.com/19018/new-years-resolutions-for-investors/?cigx=d.kac,stid.45910,sid.755688,lid.6,mid.37070 Don’t abandon long-term investment goals and succumb to the urge to grab short-term profits. There’s a difference between long-term net worth generated as a consequence of a methodical investment approach, and a greedy investor who just wants to grab the quick buck. The former has accumulated wealth over a sustained period of disciplined investing; the latter tends to benefit from random occurrence, as if playing in a casino. Stay committed to your existing strategy. Sure, any strategy needs to be calibrated, according to changing market conditions. You should remain flexible. That said, don’t hyperventilate over a sudden, short-term opportunity that contradicts your long-range plans. Create a strategy that’s right for you—and, despite the temporary vicissitudes of the market, stick to it. 1 Like |

anyanwu58: Transcorp is in a symmetric sideways. It is heading to it's pre-rally price action. And to be sure, the big boys have moved on...as evident in the trading volume. A savvy trader will stay off this coy, as NO news can restart an uptrend anytime soon. anyanwu58: Transcorp is in a symmetric sideways. It is heading to it's pre-rally price action. Moneysage:I agree with you. If I were to be the management of TRANSCORP, reconstruction will be carried out now. I know the company is a hot cake but most investors are on the sideline waiting for the reconstruction to take place. And I tell you, immediately the reconstruction is done, the sky will be the limit of the price appreciation of this company. |

I just don't understand why some guys can't just leave Transcorp alone in the sense that all stocks are bound to be trading @ this level by this time of the year going by history of DEC trade. This Dec trades has even surpass expectations from people in that the lull is not as much as projected. For. Propsective investors, I'll advise u take position this time on stocks but remember u are the MD of your portfolio 1 Like |

@Ogas @ d top, Am abt to reposition my portfolio for greater things in 2014. As u all are aware, I like money too much. Min 100% on my mind in 12 months., Unity bank at 50k, Fcmb at 3.10, skye at less than 4 naira, ubacap @1.30 and below also on my mind but diversification is very important to me, I already took my right for afriprud and ubcap and also heavily loaded wit ubcap. Imagine my former brocker asking me to bring N500 for certificate verification of 21 units of ETI that emanated from my oceanic bank of yesteryears. They equally told me to bring a passport, utility bill and idcard before i could sell off my almost worthless shares of 2008 saga. They said that the new law from SEC. |

Born 2be Rich:True talk my bro! I am aggressively loading my portfolio wt Oando, am convinced that the CP deal will be completed on or b4 31st Jan. Besides, Oando is just too under-priced @ anything below N20. Just my submissions anyway! |
