millo: Country people of nairaland, whats your take on unitybank, I know it in car park, but the volume of trade is still relatively high, whats up with it? I have always doubted the fundamentals, but any sentiments?

IMO, the only fear investors have about unity bank is the share reconstruction. But I'm not sure there will be reconstruction at this current Benchmark price. Maybe the price will rally up before they will embarking on reconstruction (just my opinion). If this happens, those who bought at the car park can take advantage of the short rally and sell before SEC will place it on full suspension.

Born 2be Rich:

What is pushing japaul oil IMO is nothing but market sentiments in the oil sector of the nse...people that didnt enjoy the rally in FO, Conoil, mrs and oando have decided to take positions in this stock (and likely eterna) with a believe of an imminent rally..as at last week friday japaul was scarce as i contacted a broker about the stock..however, i foresee profit takers coming in soon..

Bros you have said it all. This is exactly my thought about Japaul's current rally. The stock is already showing some signs...
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megainvest: 6:28am On Jan 07, 2014
Watch Japaul closely. It is an easy money spinner for traders especially because of sentiments in the oil and gas sector as others have said. It is easier for Japaul to reach N1.2 (over 100%) than for most others on the floor to gain 50%.

There is a support at the N20 line. So my first re-entry price will be around N20. If it breaks this support, I will load more at the next support level and continue loading at various support points until my money finish grin

can we know ur support zones mine are 19, 16.50 and 13.89

i hope 20 doesn't break if broken those are my next support zone. 16.5 is the strongest.

NB, i didn't enter oando train be4 but am on a look out
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megainvest: 1:04pm On Jan 07, 2014
Apart from asking my stockbroker, is there a way to find out by how much a stock is on bid or offer?

There was an old resistance around that N20 line (may not be exact) which becomes a new support for the stock after the resistance was broken.

I hope it doesn't get broken too because the more supports a stock breaks the more resistances it will encounter on its way back up (uptrend). Let's not forget that during its uptrend movement Oando was trading with gaps so it most probably will be breaking those supports easily with gaps. But no shaking as breaking through resistances will not be a problem for Oando considering investors appetite for it. After 20, my next will be around 19, 17, 16.20

My take on Oando Plc

Oando Plc
Short term: Profit taking zone since price reached but fails to breach resistance N28.90K,
RSI 14 period at overbought level of 82. A reversal candle pattern formed at the resistance,
therefore a correction is expected between N21.45-N23.98K.

Long term: Bullish still in view

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by divinelove(m): 4:07pm On Jan 07, 2014
oando is falling faster than i expected, i tot it ll take at least mid January to hit 20, at this rate oando must fall to less than 18 before this week ends. Everyone shld get ready to buy again once its below 18. Regards

To get information on bid and offer, go to Stockmarketnigeria.com.
Click stocks prices. Then click FT in front of the stock you want to check.
