nosa2: After making loss for 3 years, ABC turned profit in 2017. Did they do anything differently? Is it sustainable? People will want to understand how they turned the corner and whether this is a ONE off. |

RabbiDoracle:With all due respect Sir, we are all unique beings, just because somebody birth you does not mean we are not our individual self with different personality, your makeup determine who you are. Somebody may advise you about something (no matter who), your true self will still act different (hence we continue to work on our self through experiences). By the way Sir, just because you are a man does not mean you can not be emotional! Actually i think men have feminine side to them its just that our society thinks you are weak when you show it, and being tough makes you manly. 1 Like |

hyness: Every man is an emotional being. But when you take decisions, be sure of it and not when one babe shows up and you discard your decisions. If it is a superior argument presented by the person, all fine and good. However if you are swayed anyhow by any woman, you go just be like my Oga for work. They call them anywhere belle face. One should be able to think through things without being swayed. If they always sway you easily, then you have outsourced your thinking to them. Why think in first place? Save yourself the stress of thinking and call then on phone to do the thinking for you. Not saying one can't make mistakes ooo....but my Oga, the mistakes should be limited. Even women will yab men who can't think well or swayed easily. |

Agbalowomeri: They replaced their problematic Marco Polos and put the mini buses. Most of their admin expenses should be in maintenance of vehicles, large garage size and costly spare parts. But with smaller buses, the parts dey all open markets (ladipo, Ikoku) if you don't want to source from TNL. |

hyness: To the part in bold, u dont have to do that my dear. ...That oga was merely joking with u- ok. However, he was right about the points he highlighted in his revert to u. That said, I like the part where u said u are trying to manage and build ur emotions to be stronger by allowing things to flow naturally. ...In other words, u are trying to better ur emotions learning from ur many experiences. Not a bad idea, but I think it will do u a lot more good if; 1) U work on expanding ur investment knowledge. 2) U work towards building ur own investment strategy. ...one that will suite ur style and person given the very volatile nature of ur emotion. ...and when u acheive that, do well to stick religiously to it. These are sure ways to strengthen ur emotions against the influence of any negative opinion/assertions. This way, u will less likely be swayed by any unreal input from others. ...that way, u would be better equiped to distinguish between what's real and virtual, and ultimately know how to seive from the many input of others here to allign with ur investment style/pattern. I wish u Good luck in ur endeavour !! 2 Likes |

swilo: Since I graduated I never had the cause to read everyday until I joined this house late last year. The aspect that frightens me most is how some members are able to recall arguments they had with others and they are able to locate the comment and quote them many months later when posterity judges them right. I envy them and wonder why I don't have such capacity. But on the other hand I console myself with the assumption that they bookmark every single comment here. 1 Like |

Deadlytruth: My dear what Sir Oracle posted therein is very REAL !! Yes like u said there are times when with some coys, this sort of inquisition may count for little or nothing. ...we've seen it happen time and again but with Forte Oil, I do think that there are a few more reasons for one to be a bit more worried. ...especially given where they are coming from and knowing that this is a bit unlike the management. One of the rules to investing safe is in the ability to spot fresh red flags and be smart enough to decipher what they might be signalling. ...and yet another is to have that '3rd eye' that's just enough to see when the management of a coy is trying 'to short change u as a shareholder'. One way they do that is via non-controlling interest. I also noticed its a key red flag to watch out for in coys with major stakeholders and a divided income stream. ...and a few other 'coy boy' coys particularly that of Sir Tony. I'll suggest u revisit FOs YE result. |
