PZ that wants to buy out minority shareholders at 23/share currently selling at 35naira. Meanwhile GSK has been unable to move past 17.10 which is it's buyout price.

Wonders of NSE.

Shell To Sell Nigeria Onshore Oil Business For $1.3 Billion

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-01-16/shell-to-sell-nigeria-onshore-oil-business-for-1-3-billion

They should mention the buyer... The buyer is one of the market movers and shakers... If you know you know

The purchasing consortium, named Renaissance, comprises ND Western, Aradel Energy, First E&P, Waltersmith, and Petrolin.
aradel energy is a subsidiary of aradel holding on NASD. further details in coming weeks of the 5 way split of 30% of spdc should give an idea if Aradel daily oil exploration surpasses seplat or not after completion of this deal.

@Zagee Aradel trades on NASD. relatively liquid compared to its peers. moved from 450 to 1230 in the last 9 months cool cool

Finally exited the bull market today by offloading my holdings at UBA at #33 having entered at #15 making over 100percent profit. This is where my journey ends this bull season. My risk appetite can't go beyond this. Down and out.

What are you going to do with your loot, people who sold Dangote Sugar at N60 came back to buyback at over N70.

Fundamentally, UBA is still going places. N45 is more like it for UBA and N60 for GTB and Zenith Bank

Good Afternoon Gurus in the house.

I have some shares (Zenith, Fidelity and Wema) that was bought for me by my Dad in 2023.

Recently, I saw the shares certificate but I don't know how to go about it.

Please, how should I proceed?

i took a gamble last week. Sold all Dangote Sugar at N67.3 for the mere reason to go queue with the entire fund to buy NASCON at N55 when i realised that i could increase my holding if i did the conversion.

my bid was not successful that day to buy nascon. next day, i upped it, yet not successful. then on Friday i bought it at N59 which was still cheaper but not what i targetted. My equivalent holding of NAscon to dangote sugar increased from original figure actually

Now i don't know how stupid i would have felt if i had decided to wait till yesterday Monday to see if i could catch it at my target price.
This type of gamble is not advisable at all and i am so not gonna try it again. I didn't know what came over a PATIENT INVESTOR like me. Maybe na spiritual something but i overcame it.

1. Open an account with a SB of your choice.
2. Scan and send the certificates to them. Ensure the names on the certificate are correct.
3. The SB will direct on further steps...

wink

Whatever goes up must come down. At what point can we say the market has had a parabolic rise in the words of Oracle.

Better to diversify into fixed income or Eurobond investment.

Forget all the land banking and speculative real estate investments.

If you must do real estate make sure it is commercial real estate and not residential, don't tie down more than 40% of your networth on it especially if your networth is less than N100 million.

My opinion though
