I was just wondering if someone always calls the shot in your house when it comes to holding the remote control and determining which channels to watch. It is certain that we have our diverse preferred channels. For the ladies, its mostly films and music, while the guys mostly opt for sports and politics. Then, you see some fathers, once they are home, listen to news from one channel to the other till they go to bed.
What do you have in your house: a dictatorial or democratic system of remote controlling?

Ha,is me and daddy that struggles for the remote o.mummy is not into tv,shes not bothered.once she cooks and read novels,thats all.my brother on his own too is not a tv person except football and he prefers watching it outside the house with his friends.my dad on the other hand can watch tv from morning to night so once i get hold of the remote,i hide it inside my bra.lol.unfortunatly my dad doesnt send,it doesnt cost him anything to deep his hands into my breast and remove the remote.once he starts watching news,thats the end.once he watches news on cnn,he will change to aljazera to watch another one.infact we run around the sitting room for who will get the remote.lol,chai,i always miss baba shewa (my dad) when am not at home.at least he has made me start liking cnn and has bought another tv in the sitting room downstairs but it can never be like watching tv with my dad

Its my hubby o!!! Immediately he comes in like this within 5 minutes he picks the remote and changes the channel irrespective of what am watching. His. Excuse: but av been watching channels of my choice since.

I barely even have time to watch TV these days.

Constant battle oh. Everybody claims right, Me, hubby and baby. Hubby had to buy extra TVs, but for where, what fun is there in watching TV all alone, so I go and harrass him.
So annoying all he watches is CNN we pay 13k and you watch a channel we get for free, haba.
I watch football and movies he just watches news and one business Channel.

I love TLC and there are programmes like secret eaters, I didn't know I was pregnant etc, I would like him to watch but for where?

I love zone reality too, cheaters, women who
kill, crimes of passion, all those shows where they catch killers, he always says Its creepy and he hopes I won't slice him and keep in a freezer one day, me I no send, I love my shows jor.

Im not really a tv person, but between hubby and d kids, na real tug of war.......hubby can watch tv for 10 hrs, especially on weekends, he will hold on on d remote and be changing from one channel to another, there was even a day my 1st child told him..."na wa o, daddy, you are just changing from one channel to another channel without excusing us, mum taught us to always take excuse from one another b4 we change d channel, but you dont do that, im using this opportunity to tell you that, anytime you want to change d channel, always take excuse from us".....that day, hubby bought another tv and put it in their room.
As for me, na to dey look them, wetin concern me, i just need to listen to news....and maybe watch one film/home video, which i may not even watch till d end b4 im bored....so funny, men seems to like watching tv than women.......abeg, me na to read and nairaland i know, complete bushwoman.......

Try watching BBC k, they also show some very interesting documentary.

I am afraid it is I. Popc and my elder bro have got theirs. Being the eldest of the 2 girls, my sis has got no choice.

Initially, it was dependent on who put on the TV 1st. Right now, no dulling. I sometimes leave to go watch the black and white Tv in my room sha.
