My boss then was driving a 1999 Honda CRV with just one house to her name while her colleagues were driving flashy cars with houses in choiced areas.... It was not until Mr. Abubaka left and I became her PA that I found out what the woman was passing through. 70% of her income goes to her uncountable dependants including her aged parents. You did well bro... I suffered the same fate with my then landlady. As a matter of fact, her hubby died in overseas and she went to bring his corpse back to Nigeria and barely two weeks she left she called home and gave a standing instruction that we should stop pumping water. And that was how my younger brother who was in his middle 30's started fetching water in the streets... When I couldn't withstand the shame I had to build my house. |
