Fact is, he was a secunda player, he debuting for the First team, is due to the first team keeper role, being stratched,

hence he going out on loan, after a new keeper arrive[/quote]but he still played "2 games" at (La liga) Arguably the Best league in the World (At that time) prior to Selection and his rivals Akpeyi, ezenwa had history of Shaky performance. Go and rewatch Nigeria vs Argentina (4.2) Uzoho debut for us and see that his selection was justifiable. Akpeyi and ezenwa has theirself to blame

yes it is a complicated issue. On paper, he has met his contractual agreement so no justifiable reason for termination but has he shown the capability to Be "1" the answer to me is ("No"wink but we also don't want to Hire another coach that will make SE regress. 2015/17 is still on my mind. The thought of Oliseh selecting the likes of Onobi to bench Mikel or beefing with senior members of his team just few months after selection or even Dumping SE 3 days prior to a match is still fresh

So the Uzoho that came and took from Ezewan, nah division 1, he came from?

Even Osigwe who some are rooting for too, whernce was he from?
Yea uzoho remember "Debuted" at "La liga" (top 3 league in the world) prior to playing for SE despite the fact that he was registered officially at the Segunda. He still debuted at La liga thats how we even got his attention and at that time, Akpeyi and ezenwa wasn't given us confident Vibes.

They will never agree to this although they had an argument yesterday which showed how far we go to praise a player who shows little flashes of brilliance. Only Oshimen, Ndidi , Chukwueze and Iwobi(who is experiencing a resurgence) are our correct players. The rest are just there. grin
very invalid/Inaccurate Statement. Pound for pound, Algeria Don't have a better Squad than Us but their present Coach made a huge difference at them winning ANC. Pound for Pound, Senegal has the strongest 11 but not the strongest Team.

Top 4 most talented11 (pound for pound) now in africa (my opinion) and based on market value
1) Senegal
2) nigeria
3) ivory coast
4) Algeria

Best Team currently in Africa

1) Algeria
2) Senegal
3) Nigeria
4) Tunisia

A great Tactician can make a big difference from Semi final and winning ANC. You can't keep saying "you have a young team" indirectly conceding defeat anytime you come across a strong opponent and expect to WIN

Amodu to me was unfairly treated and we made the wrong decision by sacking him but that doesn't mean that we should continue making horrible coaching decisions. As for Big Boss (Rip King) he was duly Sacked for Failing to Qualify for "Ordinary Nations cup" remember keshi didn't get sacked After Anc or Wc but immediately after he failed to Qualify for "Ordinary ANC" (Our birthright) that was justifiable. As for me, I follow "pre contractual documents" not sentimental or emotional reasons

we overrate our squad a lot. When we're playing, we don't look at other people's squad too. For example, Tunisia players are playing at decent European clubs. A few are playing at the best clubs in africa.
i used to think that before but not anymore. We have a pool of Talented Guys enough to win ANC as long as a proven Winner/Tactician is on that bench. Remember, this is a team that still has Ejaria, Lookman, ehizubue and possibly eze yet to Feature. In addition to it, experienced proven players like Ighalo and Victor Moses are still playing active football and can put in a shift assuming they're convinced to come out of retirement

Lol who else has he qualified to a major tournament? We made Gernot Rohr. Nobody even mentions his other exploits on the continent cuz there are none
cut it. I We didn't make him neither did he made us. It was a 50/50 combination. Remember, we failed to Qualify for 2 major tournaments Prior to Rohr hiring in 2016 and many felt we won't even Qualify for 2018 WC. The man improved us tremendously but I cannot trust him to defeat Algeria, Senegal and win ANC or his tactical substitution at important Games. We might need a world class coach to win us ANC but what justifiable reason do we have to sack Rohr when he met his precontratual agreement and what guarantees do you think that NFL can hire a "World class" coach. We don't want another 2015/17 Debacle

I dont understand this our goalkeeper talk again ehn? Wetin una want sef?

The question should be do we have a reliable first choice keeper, before the coming of Uzoho, then Maduka, anybody for either of them to battle the numero uno spot with?
They're upset that "okoye" didn't follow due process before getting that number 1 shirt as he came directly from division 3 to Nigeria 1 with the assistance of "oma akatugba". Usually, when you're coming from a lower league, you have to prove yourself at u20, 23 before debuting for SE.But, there wasn't many available options and to be fair to okoye, he has represented himself well thus far which means Rohr feels justified at his selection. I think their complain is 50/50 Valid

that's why I want iwobi to go to the wing when Onuachu is playing, he can lay accurate crosses for Onuachu.
iwobi strong point isn't Crosses at all and we cannot trade our best AM (iwobi) on the wings. The best crosser so far on our team is Moses Simon but to me he isn't our best winger. So, in order to get the best of Onuachu, you need wingers that Deliver accurate Crosses i.e Simon, but Simon as a winger isn't better than Chukwueze, kalu or Ejuke (to me) Awaziem also delivered decent crosses at ANC but he doesn't start. Honestly, with the talent available at SE, A world class Coach should be able to deliver ANC and possibly wc round 8 but the question is what justifiable reason should we sack Rohr? Remember, he met his precontratual target thus far and what guarantees do we think that NFL will hire a world class coach if rohr is terminated (we no want frying pan to Fire) Remember why Rohr got hired in the 1st place. 2015/17 debacle

I doubt if uzoho will find it easy taking back that shirt. That maduka is determined to seal his place there. I wonder why people think Rohr is biased because maduka is German born. He is our best choice now, truth be told. If he were born in Lagos and played for Enyimba before entering the Super eagles, they would all be defending him and pitting him to be the world best keeper. You will be seeing crazy comparisons. Even if iheanacho were to be German, I will still say that osimhen is better than him.
nah Uzoho is definitely better than Manuka. Remember uzoho has decent World cup performance experience and his last game against Brazil was magnificent. Uzoho before maduka. Maduka isn't vocal enough to lead that defense but Remember his still a baby

Don't mind him. Most Nigerians lack proper education on what global best practice means.

These same people almost killed Keshi for handing the number 10 jersey to a local boy but are cool with a goalie with a couple of club appearances being number 1.
it isn't the same. Infact, Akpeyi should slap himself for allowing a 19 year old to grab that shirt in uzoho absence. Remember that Nigerians wanted Akpeyi out of SE before and after ANC due to his unstababiblity. Although, I think akpeyi did OK at ANC and o wouldn't blame him for that Algeria loss but Okoye seem more comfortable than him For SE. For me, when everyone is fit and Available
1) Uzoho
2) Okoye
3) Akpeyi/osigwe/Yakubu
Rohr doesn't like short goalies thats why yakubu hasn't been given a chance but he looks impressive on youtube

if there is one thing to bank on Rohr is Qualification for a Major tournament. My problem with him is can he get us to Win a tournament as in 1st? Can he make tactical changes at the right time or timely substitution? Anyway, those things are not documented on his contract

Just watched onuachu goals at Genk and I now see why he doesn't score as much for Super eagles. First of all, Onuachu strengths as a striker is Heading, Air balls and in order to capitalize on his strengths, you need "Good crosses" looking at the type of Wingers/Fullbacks that SE uses, he doesn't get accurate crosses thats why he rarely scores for SE. The guy can be a good alternative to osimehn if SE wingers, fullbacks deliver accurate Crosses. A player like finidi George and Onuachu would be scoring week in and Out For SE. Unfortunately, due to bad crosses, he will still remain 3rd choice ST behind Osimehn and kelechi

then put that on pre contractual goals. Thats the only thing that will make me accept termination of a coach

It's not just about qualification like Amaju said. They say na from Saturday you go know how Sunday go take be. In our last four games we've been extremely poor. The excuse given against Algeria and Tunisia was that he was trying new things. Buh how would you explain it against a team ranked more than 80 places below you.

If we qualify for the AFCON with performances like this we'll might just end up embarrassing ourselves so while wait till after the AFCON which will be just about 8 months before the world cup when you still have time now

Okay let me ask u two questions

1...with rohr playing style and tactics do u believe,he can
A). Win d nations cup
B) qualify for 2022 world cup convincingly like he did in 2018; and also exceed his previous record in world cup by reaching quarter finals @ d mundial? cool
My guy if Rohr contract stipulated that he must Win "Anc" or Termination and he fails to Win Anc then there's a reason for Termination. Also, Any team from Algeria, Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, ivory coast can win ANC. Also, He can also Qualify us from World cup although i don't think it might be effortlessly. My own is that you should create a contract for a coach and make sure he understands that contract. If he fails to meet his contractual goal, then SACK him. But, I dont support sacking a coach based on things not on his contract.
For example: even if rohr Lose 20 0 to sierra leone and his contract says that he must qualify for ANC. As long as he qualify us for ANC, he achieved his goal. Mind you, I am very disappointed in some of his selections i.e ahmed musa, Akpoguma at RB or his lack of untimely substitution
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 5:48pm On Nov 18, 2020
As much as i am disappointed at rohr performance against Sierra leone but what will be the basis of his termination? Drawing sierra leone home and away? Was that inserted in his pre contractual agreement? He was mandated to qualify us for ANC and he is topping the group. Yet, you want to terminate him lool omo make we remember why rohr was hired in the 1st place. Go and recall what happened in 2015/17

That akpoguma na straight up Trash. Next time no one will deem anyone a sure banker before playing for us. He is only starting because his a German/Nigerian. The guy is so stiff and he isn't even better than Shehu at Rb let alone, Awaziem, aina or Ebuehi. Basically, rohr is using the worst Rb possibly and starting him. He might be A Better CB tho but I doubt it. As for musa, he should just retire or be used as a CF. Anything contrary and he is absolutely atrocious

The clubs the US Mens National Team starting lineup v. Wales play for:

GK: Man City
RB: Barcelona
CB: Anderlecht
CB: Wolfsburg
LB: Fulham
CM: RB Leipzig
CM: Juventus
RM: Dortmund
AM: Valencia
LM: Barcelona
CF: LA Galaxy

And some folks would tell me that Nigeria has more talents than Team USA. Delusions of grandeur!

O pari

Nonsense. You really think that Se players aren't discriminated against and have to be twice as good as their White counterpart to sign for a Big club. If the likes of Ndidi, Ejuke, Chulwueze was American/British/Brazilian, they would be playing at The best clubs in the World
