This your logic sef grin
Don't underestimate 352 boss, its a balanced formation because you can be solid at CB, Midfield, wings and Upfront. Your RWB and LWB conditioning needs to be astute because the sort of fitness level needed for that formation is crazy

How could you say our weakness is CB and then suggest we use 3 CBs grin
More reasons to protect the defense since its our weakness and capitalize on our Wingers/Fullbacks and Strikers.

Its also a more balanced team

I agree it is.

because if I break it down... Then we have the true picture.

CB options: We look kinda matched. CIV would throw in Boly and Bailly from the EPL. Nigeria would throw in Akpoguma and the incoming Jordan from the Bundesliga + Semi Ajayi in the EPL. Game on! grin

Other options: They have Diomande, Traore, Deli etc... mostly in Ligue 1 + Belgian league..

Nigeria's other options has: Awaziem from Portugal, Incoming Tosin from Fulham, Ekong of Watford, Balogun of Rangers.

LB options: None of the Ivorian LB/LWB options trump Zaidu. Be it Cornet or Ghislain Konan.

Felix Agu of Bremen is an option when we land him. Calvin of Rangers, Collins and Chima Okoroji are also there.

RB options: They have Aurier and Singo. We got Aina, Ebuehi (one of the best RBs in the Eredivisie) and Ehizibue in the Bundesliga.

So conclusively, I may say we are kinda both matched in defence overall or just slightly stronger depth-wise.
I think he will be a solid Bench player for Aribo, etebo or Iwobi until he proves himself. Honestly, the guy looks like our most impressive midfielder on "Youtube" but thats just YouTube. Leta see how he performs for 90 Minutes. For now, with the likes of Aribo, iwobi and Ejaria, Midfield creativity is the least of our problems. We need DM (back ups for ndidi) and some solid CB.

SE strength - strikers, Creative midfield, Wingers and fullback

SE weakness - CB.

Our best formation due to our strengths vs weakness should be a 352 attacking and 532 defending (my tuppence)

Iheanacho showed last season, that when you have confidence in him, he will Score. My respect and adulation increased for him last season.

wetin u say make Osimhen do? After 2 months of injury, he played 20 minute of football and u want him to score? Another 20 minute of football and you still want him to score. U even play ball before? Cos if you dey play street football u go know wetin dem dey call "match fitness". Osimhen is not 100 percent match fit yet okay. Wait for him to have a run of games before you crucify him. Abeg I Don rest for your matter. Goodnight.
My comment wasn't an attack on osimehn ability but to all these Farmers league. My point being that players will Score bountiful at farmers league until they're Signed at the big 3 league. Osimehn was used as an example i.e 2 goals in 10 games for 75million isn't the best return but that doesn't mean he is a Flop or will not end up Resuscitating his career at Napoli. Anyway, you guys get defensive whenever osimehn is criticized Rightfully or wrongfully but when it's IHEANACHO, all of you descend on him. Yall don't care whether nacho is playing or not playing and his MPG is always Questioned. All I am saying is that we should stop this "selective criticism" or "favortism"

Look at how sensitive they're when osimehn Goal return is questioned even though no one said that he is a bad player. But, the same people will descend on Kelechi iheanacho even when he is not playing. I call it "selective criticism" make i hear anyone unfairly criticize iheanacho for here again. Anuofia!

shut up you talk too much. Someone just came back from injury after 2 months and you are here talking rubbish. What do you want Osimhen to do? The coach didn't played him today and you want him to score goal. Abeg go sleep before I descend on you.
My friend that's an excuse. 2 goals in 10 overall game this season is unacceptable especially when you scored 6 at preseason but my comment wasn't even an attack on osimehn. Its more of an attack on these FARMERS league. My point is that we can't really use farmers league as a measurement on who will impress. Im not even talking about todays game

You see why I don't rate any of these weak leagues. A player like osimehn was tearing belgium/france week in and out. All of a sudden, you put him at a World class league and he is found wanting

This iheanacho situation is just disgraceful. The fact that Vardy is out of the team and iheanacho cannot make Leicester 11 speaks volume of Rodgers confidence in him. Its either that Rodgers has given up and already told iheanacho of his unbelief or he doesn't like iheanacho. Either way, Nacho has to seek elsewhere for playing time or our coach should drop him. SE isn't a rehabilitation lab I.e Musa and now iheanacho

There are good crossers of the ball in the Nigerian league. We look down on the npfl and forget that kanu used to play for iwuanyawu nationals and Taribo west for Julius Berger.

Seriously, why is it so difficult for our wingers to perfectly cross? In the past, wingers number 1 requirements was Impeccable crossing ability but nowadays it seem impossible. I honestly believe that if we cannot find good crossers at SE then having paul onuachu might just be a waste.

I beg to disagree.
Simmy has scored 7 goals in 19 games this season, while Moffi has scored 5 goals in 14 games this season also, and don't forget this is Moffi first season in europe top 5 leagues, unlike simmy that has been playing in Italy since 2016
I'm not saying simi is better but don't compare farmers league to seria A

Mikel in his last games for the super eagles was poor and we all agreed that it was time he took a rest..
What has changed?
Who are the young pretenders?
These young pretenders are doing quite well at their clubs..
Why don't you blame the coach that has little to no idea on how best to utilize his team??
Mikel is definitely good enough to make our bench as long as he isn't starting if Ndidi, etebo, and Aribo are fit.

Nobody beat Zlatan. Onyewu broke his rib and that can happen even when u kill the other guy.

The only thing the fight did was put Serie A in a bigger light. People love drama and I can bet the next time Lukaku and Ibra hit the pitch it will be must see TV.

This is honestly the fundamental difference between a Tammy and an Osimhen. Victor is cut from the same cloth as Zlatan, Lukaku, Costa and Suarez. Their games are based on passion so these type of incidents will always happen but it is a matter of taking the good with the bad.
Anytime i see how zlatan instigate fights or bully players, I'm just glad that Pep Bitchhed his ass in a subtle way. That man pep Issa genius

How many loan stint?

They should Kuku buy this guy nah

That loan stint Dey spoil him profile

You dig ?
But do you rather he sits on the bench at Monaco for another 6 months instead of getting playing time at a familiar club that he has a history of being successful? Remember, players cannot play themselves and if coaches refuse to play them, it is in their best interest that they seek another club. Iheanacho for example is being criticized because people feel that he is comfortable being benched at Leicester instead of seeking another or even a lower club just for "playing time". Omo you no fit impress everyone

The positive thing I will accept form onuekuru football career now is that he has made a lot of money ,he is yet to live up to what we expected from him
In this life, one simply cannot impress everyone. For example, iheanacho commitment and ambition is being questioned here by many due to his comfortability being on Leicester bench and not seeking elsewhere or Another club while the same people are Questioning onyekuru "Ambition" for seeking "playing time" at a familiar club. At the end of the day, as players you simply cannot impress everyone and for the most part, you will be criticized irrespective of your decision. BTW, turkey league is a farmers league but Galatasaray is a medium big club and if onyekuru can succeed at that club, he will get his SE opportunities

More load of thrash.. Where is LAWMA self??

There are a lot of English club fans on this thread but none of them sound so unnecessarily sentimental and dumb as u when it comes to comparing English teams with others..
Outside of the big 6, most clubs in the EPL would struggle against even mid table teams of clubs outside Europe top 5 leagues..
The Portuguese league being rated below the English language doesn't in anyway take away the quality of it's top teams like Porto,Benfica and sporting...it is the same Portuguese league that Bruno Fernandes came from..

And to chip in to the discussion, Salisu will walk into this Fulham starting eleven...
There are some arguments that people make just for argument purpose. You gotta just ignore them because they want attention.. just like boldly saying 1 + 1 = 10

Starter Aina RB
Zaidu lb
Replacement
Ebuehi RB
Collins LB

Anything contrary on current form and our coach is playing with his job. The topic should be that CB partnership. Personally, balogun is our best CB thus far although I will like to see him pathner akpoguma at CB. What do yall think?

I stopped taking you serious when you stated unequivocally that Fulham is better than Twente despite Fulham lavishing in the relegation zone in the EPL, as for the fullback position despite Aina having one assist he also has been responsible for two goals conceeded for the SE

Anyway it is up to Rohr to choose who he is more comfortable with
Of course, because I am right. Yes, fulham are doing horribly at epl but you must consider the calibre of league they play at best 2 league in the World. Also, Aina has 2 Solid assists for SE.
1 in the opening ANC match for ighalo
2 against Lesotho for osimehn

Modified

I Dey fvck up self ,so ehizibue has been a regular at koln and I haven’t been talking about him

You dey mind them? Even psv sef go hard to beat Fulham. Only Ajax fit beat them comfortably and we're not even a fulham fans just being objective. There has to be consistency in our analysis because if the same people that are trivalizing onuachu goals based on his small league cannot be celebrating twente

You mean to tell me Fulham is better than Twente?? Aina has played more games for Nigeria, yes but has he performed better than Ebuehi, No. So Ebuehi will have to transfer out from Twente but Aina will have to stay at Fulham to impress you

All I can read from your writeup is English bias
You keep asking rhetorical questions as if you're joking. Of course, Fulham is better than Twente and the fact that they're ranked 18th speak volume of the quality of SE. Aina has also been more impressive than ebuehi for Nigeria (2 assists) even though Ebuehi was more talented pre injuries and like I said, my modem of Qualifications in reference to SE selections are
1) Quality of Team, League
2) Player performance at Club that way, we can weed out the boys from the men. Ebuehi doesn't have to move to Epl for there to be a competition but he can transfer to the best team in his farmers league i.e Ajax, psv, Benfica, porto, cska Moscow, lyon etc just impress at his small club and transfer to the big 3 i.e Epl, La liga and Seria A. As for now, there isn't even a debate who owns that Right back position. Another player that we have to look out for is the guy at cologne "ehizibue

Ebuehi has been a regular in a Twente team fighting for European places

But because you don't watch him regularly on Skysports, Aina is better
For one, the league that the 2 of them isn't even comparable neither is the club. If for example, ebuehi was at psv or Ajax then there can be a conversation. For 2, Aina has actually been better for Nigeria than ebuehi even though I think ebuehi had more potential pre injuries. Anyway, for ebuehi to regain his position, he has to become Fit, perform significantly at twente and transfer to the Big 3 then we can have a conversation

On current form Aina is our best RB but its sad that he is playing for a team ranked 18th in the epl. Ebuehi might have more potential (pre injuries) but currently, he isn't better than Aina.
