If 3 of our best players according to certain people here are playing for a team ranked 18th in the Epl, then i feel sorry for people expecting our coach to perform miracles internationally. Domestically, we can win ANC with that squad sha

my friend please don't insult SE. Omeruo for example is a Nation's cup winner and has 2 world cup experience you can't tell me some player at 18th in the epl is better than all our defenders. Its very insulting and disrespectful to SE

Currently Tosin Adarabioyo has improved immensely and I do not see anybody displacing him Balogun, Ekong, Omeruo, Awaziem, Ajayi in the CB position as it stands in the HERE and NOW.

Add to the fact he is much younger than all of them.

Fulham maybe third from bottom but they play a particular style of football that only technically proficient players can thrive in.

I have been immensely AMAZED at Anguissa he has been outstanding for Fulham if he could add scoring to his game he would be top class. The ball seems like it is glued to his foot. And his technical skills are sublime but he also has strength to add to it. Tega Onomah is going to find it near impossible to displace him he will have to UP his game to another Level , Anguissa is currently better.

It's not as simple as that, there's a possibility that Tammy agreed to play for Nigeria when he met Pinnick but then things changed and he had a change of heart, only he knows why that happened.
Some players or their agents sometimes act mischievously like Sidney Sam or Philip Billing to force the hands of their preferred national team.
Dennis Aogo in his early days at Hamburg was wearing a Nigerian wristband but still ended up turning us down for Germany.
At the end of the day if any of the English players reject us at the last minute then move on the ones players that are committed in representing us.
Honestly, I don't succumb to that mentality seeing that we produced most of our Golden generation without English boys. We must still have some dignity, respect etc in approaching these guys because frankly they're England rejects.

I don't understand, were they supposed to give a press conference or say it on instagram live? If the news is false they would have come out to debunk it the same way Ibe and Billing distanced themselves from Nigeria.
They don't have to give a press conference but we need credible confirmation. If not, it isn't guaranteed. After all pinnick once said that Tammy Abraham has accepted to play for Nigeria only for Tammy to be called up by England few days later and he accepted England request. A simple Nigeria flag on their Instagram account sef will show some intent. Are you sure that if England calls up lookman tomorrow, he won't accept to play for England? Omo let's be watching

Because he's cursed or what? Finishing the season possibly winning the league and adding top goalscorer to his CV will get him clubs bigger than Lyon's range

This is not the first time clubs bigger than Lyon have scooped up players in the Belgian league
He is basically implying that regardless of how many goals that paul scores at genk, Historically famous clubs like Man utd, Barcelona, Bayern won't really be interested until paul proves himself at a Higher level than Genk or at Medium Big clubs, farmers league etc. If lyon is actually interested then paul should sign for them. If there's anything we can learn from osimehn situation is that if you keep scoring and improving yourself, teams will be interested in signing you.

Do you consider league difficulty? What has Ugbo done that Onyekuru, Nwakaeme, Dessers, Umar has not done, did it get them SE callups?

There is a reason Rohr draws a line at certain leagues, you can't score ten goals at Afghanistan league at be expecting a callup grin
Don't mind them let them be playing dumb. If league doesn't matter we should call a player at indian league who happens to be Nigerian

You can clearly see that etoo is speaking out of anger at pep. Clearly, etoo 2 best season ever was 1 with frank Rijkaard and his 6 trophies with Pep. Infact, that 2009 season with pep might go down as the best ever team in the History of club football (discussions for another day) etoo under mourinho was a Right back/RWB and he definitely wasn't at his best at inter

Even me too, but how many do we have in those leagues?
10 league goals in Epl, Seria and la liga is more valuable than 30 league goals at belgium league. Bundesliga to me is 50/50 I think they're also a farmers league but there's bayern Munich that holds weight

None of those players have played for the SE, apart from Onuachu, so we can't tell if they'llbe good or bad, my emphasis was on this season's performance so far. Even Osimhen played and tore the Belgian league apart with goals and he is still doing well in the SE. Awoniyi also did well in Belgium, regarding the switch Lookman and Ejaria's switch could be finalized in a couple of months.
The most important thing is that Ugbo who is doing well at the moment has expressed interest in playing for us and so is a decent prospect, it's not like we have a luxury of strikers to pick from.
We all witnessed and could easily have predicted the result of the second leg game against Sierra Leone when Osimhen was unavailable. Any decent option is a welcome development.
Please we can't just keep suggesting any tom jack and Harry for Super eagles until they're better than the incumbent or proven themselves at a higher league than what we have. Uche agbo might be a talent for the future, but presently, by the virtue of his league, he isn't needed.

Rightly so. He might not be in form now, but on his day he is good. I was so impressed by iheanacho last season. Also remember that iheanacho already has 8 goals for super eagles. He is still the best deputy for now until someone says otherwise

no I wasn't. If our only player at the biggest club among all our players currently is disparaged by an SE fan then it speaks volume of Super eagles or that individual. Currently, the boy is our best left back and based on his trajectory this season, he might end up at a bigger club than Porto.
1) Osigoal
2) Ndidi
3) Chukwueze
4) Sanusi
5) iwobi. SE current top 5 best and potential World class players

Keep on calling Germany and France farmers league

Wetin we no go hear from arrogant epl fan boys

Its not just about the Quality of 1 or 2 teams that we use to measure a farmers league but the overall Quality of the Entire league.

Osimehn wasn't even a starter when he was at moi moi league. It was when he transfered to farmers league and ighalo retirement that osimehn came on board. For now, the likes of Paul has to transfer to even farmers league i.e Bundesliga, France to even dethrone Iheanacho let alone osigoal and this isn't to disparage or trivialize his records at belgium.
For now its still
1) Osimehn

Back ups
Iheancho, Maja, onuachu, Awoniyi based on Se performances sef, i will take nacho over Onuachu until he proves himself at a Better league or SE

playing second fiddle to someone in Belgium league? Not happening. Make that guy go impress even at Farmers league before he can dethrone osimhen.

There's moi moi league,
Turkey, belgium, Dutch, Russia, Scotland
then there's farmers league
France, Germany
Then there's the Big 3 World class
Spain, Italy and England

This is the yardstick to measure a player worthy of SE.

why would a B-Class team pay €70m for an average striker from a farmers league? + a very weak passport holder, he only scored 13 league goals in his debut season, even AS Monaco known for extravagancy wouldn't try such.

Now Europa league qualification isn't even sure.

Aurelio De Laurentiis must be gnashing his teeth now.
Although, I think his transfer fee wasn't just because of his exploits at lille it included his age, potential etc so that 70 mil might end up being justified. Also, osimehn hasn't really been that bad aside of his goals. He has performed decently im the actual game and has been unlucky with the goals output. Also, 2 of his goals has been disallowed. Personally, I think players transfer fee are exaggerated but osimehn is still a top talent

You guys need to stop all his iheanacho attack. Honestly, its irritating. The guy has been playing 2nd fiddle to vary all season long and has done ok at Europe league. Today, he missed a penalty that everyone misses and instead of his people to defend him, they're vilified him. Abegi! Last season, iheanacho showed how impressive that he can be when called upon.
