very unproffesional now I understand why most of these African countries were protesting during the world cup. so they knew that if they were not paid before the world cup their fee would solely be on their performance instead of contract. these players should be paid what they agreed before the match period. nobody forced nff to make those rules prior to the game. agreement is agreement. |
I agree tha was the first time I have seen the stadium interior the grass don't even look that green and we cant even see the white lines, when you watch epl and see how the stadiums looks inside then you watch ak stadium u go no the difference |
he wasn't our best player yesterday, aluko was but I am not trying to blame him I am just saying that obi is not a number 10 that a country should be using. we need a really really creative midfilder, obi is a cm |
how many chances did we create for him abeg we need to find a number 10 asap like foreal how can mikel still be our number 10 a country like Nigeria and its population yet we cant find a number 10 |
so we dey talk greatest comeback in nig football una dey mention u20 |
racism my nyash I think folks think ebola is a joke or something imagine they have the nerve to say that Liberia, salone and guinea wont qualify so it wont affect anybody, they forgot that its very easy for people from those countries to move to a non ebola country without any trouble. make Nigeria no even try accept that thing a tournament where the winner gets a poultry 1.5 million that's where you wanna risk people life. more grease to morocco elbow if caf ban them they should follow the case to cas |
I was about to critisize the guy till I seen how much he would be paid in 1seasons 3.1 million dollars a season at 20 years old only an enemy would turn that offer |
fiji players like iniesta rosicky are definitely playmakers. my guy your still a learner in football |
fijiano i disagree with you guy no team that has won a world cup has done it without playmakers or creative midfielders, intact teams like germany even paraded at least 4 attacking midfielders at their team. nigeria always think football is won by many forwards and no midfield but i disagree with a strong dm, 2 good cm and world class am you don't even need a good striker to win you games |
decibel what do you mean by your quote> ?? |
i forgot to add some players from manu garba u 20 squad any players that you think is good enough from that team as an attacking midfielder that i omitted please list their names |
once again the nostalgia of the world cup is over we have huffed and puffed, 4 years ago after that disappointing performance at world cup south africa i wasn't disappointed nor surprised because i expected that kind of performance, fast forward 4 years later we won the nations cup, won a world cup game for the first time in 16 years and also went to round of 16, I'm not celebrating mediocre result but looking at the scenario of our past world cup in the last 2 editions it is a much needed improvement. during this concluded world cup what i realized again is super eagles midfield problems we have a problem in finding playmakers note mikel wasn't our playmaker at world cup HE PLAYED A DEEP LYING MIDFIELD PLAYMAKING ROLE although he was expected much he didn't perform nonetheless he can be forgiven because of what he has done for eagles in the last year or so. now is the time for us to find attacking midfilders/playmakers i believe if super eagles can get 2 great attacking midfielders we can really do well lets analyze playmaking options we have 1. haruna lukman _ this lad has always been playing well for club although he didn't really had a great performance at last world cup his games at friendly matches prior to world cup was impressive even after that he performed really good at monaco then now at dynamo kiev i don't understand why we keep ignoring a player like haruna in super eagles for the past 4 years this guy belongs to eagles team 2. chuks aneke - i mentioned this kid in 2010 after world cup, prior to 2014 world cup i mentioned this kid again as a player to watch now i think we need to keep an eye on him, this guy refused to sign a contract at arsenal because he was offered to be used as a "dm" or go to another english lower division club, he refused and signed abroad something english born youngsters hate doing now he plays at a first division club in belgium yesterday he had a good game in europa league qualifier we need to get him before he plays very well and england takes him mind you he has played for england at lower level but his still eligible for nigeria. we need him nowww 3. kelechi iheancho _ after all nigeria performance at u 17 world cup and players failing to make the grade to senior team, i lost interest in u 17 to me it was a team where older guys bullies legitimate u17 players then when they finally meet their age mate they become opld and refuse to perform, however this last u 17 was a product of n/f "catch them young" policies so most of these guys from that last team were a product of that policies which means that these guys really young or around that age. the star man at that tournament was iheanacho i really liked him because his a playmaker a position we have been lacking they claimed it was just under 17 3 days atop he played in the same team as regulars like emus navas, cliché,kolarov, boyatas and was voted the man of the match award he is the kind of player we lack in eagles i don't want to over hype the guy like we all did to mikel but this guy is a special talent and we have to do everything to encourage and support players like this, west africa is lacking playmakers most of these playmakers are converted to defensive midfielders we need to help nurture iheanacho even if man city don't play him at first team 4. sone aluko _ he could play attacking mid behind the striker, can dribble, shoot, pass and his set piece abilities is something we have been lacking i have been saying this that set piece win games and this kid set piece abilities is really good i don't even know how the heck he didn't make our world cup squad (keshi didn't select our best players} 5. micheal olaitan - up and coming player another creative midfielder type of player unfortunately got injured heart related issue so i don't know whats going on with him but if he comes back he is a player to follow honorable mentions 1. micheal babatunde 2. sunday mba 3. leslie ezeugo (usa watch} 4. terry akpua (portugal watch} 5. ifeanyi mattews 6. musa yahaya overall seriously if we can find 2 playmakers from this players i believe we can really do well at next world cup because we easily produce players at other positions except playmakers . look at how energetic onazi improved super eagles. note this is a thread to observe any player in the future that we think can be a playmakers i need forumers to list their names. |
I was being sarcastic but mexico is more dangerous |
Why not colombia, mexico is dangerous o this guys dey scatter bullets |
This aluko guy was very average in 2008. He made his debut in 2009 against ireland and was poor, then aberdeen took him off their club so he was clubless which made him to get hungrier, he Now went to sign for rangers thats when a new born aluko came out, he was rangers best player in 6 months scored 12 in 24 games, could dribble, shoot, hit freekicks and more once again keshi was ignoring him for a local boy uzoenyi, even uzoenyi can not even get into rangers 2nd team yet he was benching aluko. Aluko then signed to hull city, in 6 months he was their best player again yet he was ignored. To me when this guy is in for he is even better than victor moses, aluko best position is support striker or ozil role and not a midfilder |
All of a sudden uche that had been performing until 1 bad tornament is bad for the team because he game his opinion, a country like nigeria in 2013 look at the caliber of strikers we are calling |
Congratulations on keshi winning anc, but serious after the anc keshi has done a lot of damage to this team let's analyze players that are playing not based on performance 1. Solomon Kwambe he is not even the best rb at local league so his call up has no meaning, then if you want to compare him with foreign option no comment 2. Benjamin francis 3. James Okwosa 4. John ogu not playing 5. Sunday mba totally out of form 6. Nnamdi oduamadi haha 7. Sola ameobi wow we have 7 spots openly wasted on players that are not suppose to have anything to do with eagles |
Drought ke? You must be mad and high, i have not missed an eagles game shown live in the last 10 years so idk |
Oduamadi is on the team based on keshi personal vandetta oduamadi is not better than musa moses aluko or osaze, you can take that to the bank. |
I want to see people opinion |
When keshi regains his senses and start calling his best players Enyeama - his a worldclass goalkeeper no doubt one of our best ever 2, efe ambrose - personally after watching daniel adejo last season i thought adejo was a better defender and attacker but maybe its too late now efe can attack but his defending needs help 3. Ederson echiejile - to be honest taiwo hasnt really been giving a chance by keshi but ederson has improved hopefully aftee world cup we will find a bettee lb 5. Kenneth omeruo - i think he has the potential to be a great cb , mark my words he will be in this team for a long time 6. Gofrey oboabona 4. Ogenyi onazi - came a long way he is a talent 10. Mikel obi - just go to youtube and watch " mikel run my race" i used to underate this player my goodness he is good 8. Haruna lukman - the only nigeria midfilder that can score so many screamers he is our answer to yaya toure 7. Osaze odemwingie - i hope he can apologize to keshi because he is still useful 9. Emmanuel emenike - combination of amokachi and yekini 11. Victor moses - dosent need no introduction Subs Sone aluko Ahmed musa Joel obi Joseph yobo Ezekiel imoh Gabriel reuben Taye taiwo Solomon kwambe Uche nwofor Austin ejide Nosa igiebor Dang i just look at this first 11 and what comes to my mind is keshi, he can get serious and start calling his best players so we can have a decent performance at wc, or call up his junkies |
Infact so far he is our most inform midfilder, this dude at a young age has so many screamers goals that sunday oliseh would be proud off, to be honest he deserves to start |
Seriously i think it is unacceptable how he is not in eagles despite scoring many goals. I want to see him obi mikel and onazi playing together |
point of correction p square is nigeria biggest artist ever even better than fela and his igbo. dbanj na small Yoruba tout compared to p square |
This dosent make sense, how would you say MBA is a wolves player, yet you are saying you will allow him to play for rangers like wtf smdh |
All of una dey look and no comment. I wanna hear you people views on this, wetin una think |
Now lets the the usual conspiracy theorist defending this obvious age cheat by saying " e concern you," or our usual Nigeria infamous bible slang " he who has never sin throw the first stone" Nigerians are so corrupt Religious at the same damm time |
First of all I want to say I don't know any of these player personally neither do I have any grudges against them, but Seriously what john obuh is doing in this current anc should be classified as a criminal offense in any sane country. I don't want to start listing names, however in 2011 atleast 7 of the players cur rently that john obuh listed were deemed proven overage players by an acridited website " westafricanfootball.com" in 2013 this players are still playing, seriously are we waiting for amiesimaka to say something before anyone can do anything about it age cheat has totally ruined Nigeria football, when is this kind of blatant overage cheating going to stop, the annoying fact is that officials are helping this players cheat, trust me Nigerians are not stupid, corruption or no corruption if officials really want to play players with right ages they would but no they want players that are stronger last anc "Sam ameobi" was dropped from camp because he was alledgedly too small the fact is that we have cheated so much that using real ages players will seem like something new. This is one of Nigeria biggest problem "corruption" when you say you are nigerian and one makes a funny remarks don't get offended or blame the leaders because the leaders are a product of their environment if Nigerian citizen can and will boldly support this blatant overage cheating then what will happen if they are given the power to rule the country. I didn't want to mention the names of the overcheaters because I know foreigners look at this website, afterall it was on yahoo homepage, however if you really want to know more go look at westafricanfootball.com and see the names and story of blatant age cheating. Once again thanks john obuh for his wonderful usual igbo crooked way( I'm igbo) a product of our environment. Thank God I don't get mad when foreigners say Nigerians are too corrupt. Like my people say ," dem no they lie o, no be today corruption start" lol |
Wow I'm happy for my home girl we went to the same college here in yankee |
Mumu dennis aogo has already played for Germany if people don't have anything to comment just hush |
Omeruo is good no doubt but him and oboabona patnership at set piece is not the best . As for Taiwo echjile is not even on his level If you been watching Taiwo and haruna for Kiev you will know they are still needed. Haruna scored his usual screamer for Kiev in the last leg |
I don't think the goat Andre has seen Sidney sam play |
