Honestly, like this aribo guy. My type of box to box midfielder even prefer him to ndidi |
I think someone in the homeoffice is the one telling Southgate to cal these English/nigerian boys so that we don't have them. SAF used to do it in the past. It's just sad if Lookman waste his international career like Abraham, tomori and Saka (to certain extent) |
Iheancho was good against Tunisia for a back up striker omo I dont know what else yiu guys want from him. Its not many epl strikers that can bench vardy |
You guys need to realize that Nigerian players Value decrease because they're "Nigerian" compared to English players that their value are higher due to their nationality thats why its very ignorant to compare Ndidi with these English boys. Honestly, if Ndidi was an English man with his Stats and performance at leicester for the past 3 seasons, he would be rated Much Higher. A player like maguire transfered for 80Mil is he even better than Omeruo? I highly doubt it but omeruo transfered for 5 million. |
Mostov we will accept him and people will even suggest that we drop our present CB for him. That is how shameless we're acting. History is the best teacher and the likea of Shola ameobi, Kevin akpoguma, Victor moses, ejaria, lookman etc are examples |
Abeg what's the saka debacle? Tomori international career is already Over even before starting. In 5 years, when He is now below average he will run to us and we will accept him |
What people dont get is that in international football, its not the "Most goals" thats valuable but the "important goals" this is what differentiate the likes of Zidane from newer players. Honestly, its better for neymah to score 30 goals for Brazil in his entire career against WC QF, SF, Final etc than against smaller teams |
Omo that ejuke guy sabi play o. The last time I saw someone that skillful for Nigeria was chukwueze and he is even a better dribbler than chukwueze. It will be great to see chukwueze on the right and ejuke on the left |
This sentimental selection has to stop. Musa has no place being on the pitch when a talented player like ejuke was on the bench. Semiou should never play in the middle again for SE. Chukwueze was disappointing but im.not giving up on him. Overall, today's match get a 4/10 ratings we were even better against Ukraine and brazil |
Truodstar, how confident are you about that considering the fact that lookman hasn't played for US at all? Also, where's the evidence or proof self that Lookman has committed to nigeria? |
Honestly, we need Victor moses back in this team. Yes, there are lots of wingers available but the manner that Moses consistently Destroyed African top teams i.e Algeria, cameroun 2018, Ivory coast, mali Ethiopia 2013 I haven't seen it thus far from our current wingers. And although moses Flops at international football but against Top African teams, he has been magnificent |
The partiality by rohr regarding certain players is just unfair and disrespectful. For example, A player like nwakaeme had an average game against algeria and was never Recalled while Paul onuachu has been given ample opportunities yet he flop and he is still recalled. A player like Musa hasn't kicked a ball in over a month but he gets to play ahead of "in form" ejuke. |
You retire from international football all because your coach asked you to play at the RWB position the same position that you willingly play at your clubside |
This ndidi case sef, I don give up. Its very insulting that Arsenal signed Partey before Ndidi not because of ghana vs Nigeria Rivalry but because of how people claim Ndidi is talented. Its eithee that he isn't good as proclaimed or he has a bad agent. Thunder go faya anyone that start posting ndidi is the beat ball winner again after this season |
Personally, Anyone that grew up in the German u17, 19, 20, 21 system will likely make it at this nigerian team defense especially as his competitors are playing at lower leagues |
Imagine blaming rohr for a player not signaling that he wants to play for us. If I was NFF, I wo t even approach any player that hasn't publicly or privately inform NFF of their intentions to play for SE. You wanna do Shakara and you ain't even as good as messi ronaldo |
You guys needa to stop this unnecessary criticism on kelechi. Yes, he started poorly at leicester but he got rejuvenated himself last season and sometimes even had better games than vardy and was still replaced. This season just started and dude hasn't even gotten lots of opportunities yet youre still criticizing him |
Although I think osimehn made the right decision by going to napoli due to the way he was pursued. But, its like you guys don't know Jose mourinho thinking anyone Is guaranteed a place if he doesn't perform. Remember that it was the same mourinho that tossed Casillas, Pete at real for younger players, the same mourinho that benched/ sold chelsea then best player (mata) immediately he arrived. Personally, mourinho might even bench kane for osimehn just to made a statement at that Club. But Overall, I think napoli wanted osimehn more than anyone else. BTW, you can't be scared of competition when you want to be the best |
This ekong move makes absolutely no sense (football wise) how do you leave Seria A playing against ronaldo, dybala etc to a small championship league? And these are the type of players that Nigerians expect Thier coach to miraculously get into WC semi final? Very Dumb Move the same way etebo balled at the world cup and moved to Championship instead of staying at La liga. Yes, some people will say it was a financial move but I disagree. Eking could had enjoyed seria A for 3 more seasons then decide to make money oversees. This transfer window has been 50/50. We get the likes of Osimehn, zaidu to big clubs while the likes of Ndidi is now a CB and captain and assistant captain are at Middle east/championship. Na the kind people una want me world cup. I laugh in swahili |
Not trolling at all because i think moses still wants to play for SE and we still need him |
352 with osimehn and iheanacho upfront will be sweet. Victor moses and zaidu as RWB and LWB Ndidi as DM aribo Cm Iwobi Am |
As good as ndidi is now, was he better than onazi (Anc 2013) or even (WC 2014)? Very debatable. Its either that Ndidi is only highly regarded by Nigerians or Big clubs are reluctant on signing him due to his "limited abilities". It makes no sense why he is Highly regarded by Nigerians and cannot transfer to a bigger club after 3 seasons of Top Notch performance for his country |
Give iwobi a break. He plays better for nigeria and thats good enough. Do you realize that iwobi has over 7 in 40 for nigeria and is on course to score more goals than okocha, kanu, oruma, obodo etc for nigeria. Even the likes of dele ali hasn't scored up to 7 goals for England. Iwobi best position is Support striker or attacking midfielder not on the wings |
You must be very foolish to suggest that we terminate a coach if he gets your team into Finals of Anc on the 2nd try. Let's be certain. Anytime nigeria terminate a coach prior to World cup, the end result is abysmal failure i.e 2002, 2010 |
This past season cannot in any form of way be classified as "failed" for kelechi because he assisted his team to a 5th place position and also average a goal every 90 Minute on the pitch. However, his previous 2 seasons prior to this one was a failure |
Please whats going on with NDIDi everyone calls him one of the best DM in EPL for the past 3 seasons but no club has called calling. Why is that? The likes of maguire (man utd) Ben chilwell (chelsea) mahrez (city) has all moved from leicester but ndidi is stick at leicester and a new season is about to commence. Is it that he is overrated by fans? Or bad agent? Or ndidi just doesn't want to transfer to a big club |
Honestly, in a country that most of its players are at lower clubs, its a no Brainer that its 2 players at the Biggest clubs are still needed assuming they show interest. A player like Victor Moses (5 assists) so far will walk into Nigeria 11. He has proven himself Domestically against the best in Africa and we would had defeated Algeria in ANC with Moses on the field. We should remember that some players perform better for their country side than their club side and moses is one of them. As for Ighalo, personally I won't bench osimehn for him but he will make our Bench. A good bench is equally as vicious as the first 11. However, I won't suggest that SE in any form of way beg those 2 to return. Se is bigger than any individual and if they choose to return back to us, theyre welcomed |
Aribi vs Etebo who should get that 2nd central or box to box midfield position? Personally, I will pick Aribo but etebo workrate shouldn't be underestimated |
Like I said, it's my choice. If you don't like it then stick with what you believe. I'm not forcing you to agree with me. Personally I rate Rashidi Yekeni, Segun Odegbami, Sunday Olise, Taribo West, Steven Keshi, Okocha, Finidi George, Kanu Nwankwo, Uche Okechukwu, and Vincent Enyema all higher than Mikel Obi. None of these players played over 100 games in a row for a Big club. They either played for a big club for 2/3 seasons and regressed. This is what differentiates mikel from them. To win trophies and play for a Big club for over 10 seasons in a row is very difficult |
The problem with nigerians is how they negate mikel obi achievements when no one else has replicated similar result. First of all, do you think it is easy to stay at a big club for 10 years plus? Especially a wealthy one that spends money egregiously? You can't be a mere squad player and keep getting contract renewed numerous times. Mbanu! Next, mikel not only out scored and out assisted oliseh at country level, he also won more individual titles so when someone is saying they aren't comparable, he is just being mischievous. Personally I think Mikel obi was better and achieved better results and like my boss at a fortune 500 company used to say, An argument without Data is invalid |
All these people saying "yoruba making us proud" do not realize that he is half IGBO. Middle name clearly "Ugo" anyway let's stop this tribalism nonsense and just appreciate players |
