Almost every society in the world (traditional or not) does not denounce it. Belgium is 65% Christian, South Africa is 74% Christian, Canada is 67% Christian, France is 54% Christian, and Portugal is 84% Christian…and all of them have gay marriage…Nigeria is less Christian than any of those countries (51%). I don't think you can say Christian countries "vehemently denounce" gays. Maybe Nigeria does, but the Bible says:
