Your post wasn't deemed fraudulent but as laid down by the thread starter viz: ifyalways: This is for us to post job adverts we see around us(walking down the street, driving around etc). Vacancies posted by direct employers ONLY.it's physical addresses ONLY on this thread please, no email, no phone numbers, no websites. So please start a new thread with your vacancy ad, thanks. |
It's an obvious scam attempt. The first giveaway sign is from the "company's" use of a free gmail address despite supplying a proper looking address. No real company does that. User banned. Apply at your own risk. |
Please hire your friends and family members, don't you want to help the people close to you? |

Ishilove: Oyibo repeteAs the author of free flowing 'oyinbo repete', you know should know by now that I am only following your steps. |
In the light of the foregoing, if you think it's a bad thing to modify posts to remove emails addresses, or to hide them completely, please let us know because it's actually easier to ignore them. The only thing is that it piles up more work ahead when the complaints start rolling in. Regarding the threads you gave the links to there's no selective 'punishment' at play as you put it, it's just practically impossible to follow every single thread here. Which is why we encourage forum members to report posts and call attention to these things. Finally, to clear your suspicion, I've got no problem with this thread, it's actually a good one and that's why it's being followed and kept clean. Thanks. |
Thanks for expressing your feelings over this matter instead of thinking it only. The email address thing is actually for user protection and a notice was given to that effect earlier on this thread. See, some unscrupulous persons farm email addresses off threads and begin to send unsolicited messages to people. One of the 'formats' is the mailing of dubious job vacancies and employment offers which end up in attempts make unsuspecting job seekers part with their money using potential employment as bait. Another one which has gained popularity in recent times is the drug marketing schemes masqueraded as employment but which turn out to be recruitment drives for marketing agents who are urged to pay for a marketing licence. There are too many examples of these things on the forum and it all starts from giving your contacts to these rogues. If they don't have your email/phone number, it's simply impossible for them to contact you. I wonder why people don't understand that and I'll be happy to learn if you have an explanation. I truly do understand the desperation for employment however good judgement also needs to be applied in a job search. There is an unemployment industry out there and people need to be more careful and discerning. Lots of people come here reporting that they received emails/calls from strange places they didn't apply to and openly wonder how their contact was obtained, but they ignore the possibility that that they themselves may have helped it to happen. Do you not think that it is actually more work for a moderator to hide/modify posts than to sit back and relax? |

The number won't go thru because the whole thing is fake. It is obvious. If he has got links for 30 jobs I'm sure he has friends and family that he can help. Ajaokuta Steel recruiting OND, BSc, MSc? It's funny that they don't even have a preference of course of study. I know someone with an OND in Art, can he apply? ![]() And why is he saying 'thanks' at the end of the poorly written attempt to deceive people? Thanking you for sending your precious CV maybe. If you've sent your CV don't be surprised when you start receiving e-mails you didn't ask for with odd messages. As for the phone number, you can keep trying anyway, maybe it'll go thru so you can let him know he's been busted online. |

kasiem: have u ever heard that fundamental principles and directive state policies are not justicsiable?I suspect you're in the legal profession? I doubt though that we need to go as far as justiciability because the thrust of my argument stemmed from one poster's allegation that Amaechi displayed ignorance by suggesting extra funding for education in the northern states. |
anonimi: The 1999 constitution provides for the LGAs as mainly responsible for primary and vocational education in conjuction with the state government. The constitution that the President himself doesn't give a damn about? Maybe that's what the constitution says, but then the Universal Basic Education Programme (primary and junior secondary) was launched and is being executed by the Federal Government. There has also recently been a wave of Almajiri Schools constructed and commissioned by the FG. Of course there are State UBE Boards too but that is actually not the point here. The point is that Amaechi convincing the Northern governors to devote more resources to education in their own regions is not a display of ignorance on his part as alleged by that user. It actually demonstrates ineptitude on the part of the northern governors because it shouldn't take Amaechi's intervention for other governors to face their responsibility to educate their citizens. |

tokunboh: May you remain blessed, chief. You are one of the few people that have been objective on this thread. This interview brought Amaechi's ignorance to the fore.I'll take your highlighted advise and rebut your analysis based on its substance and content :1. It's actually the FG's responsibility to take care of education nationwide. In addition, the states involved themselves have a budget (likely mis-applied) for education. Amaechi really shouldn't be worrying about education in the Northern states but probably convinced the northern Govs to invest more in education by virtue of his position as NGF chairman. 2. Actually it makes sense that agriculture has the potential to provide employment for the illiterate and semi-literate. Whether the potential is harnessed or not is another matter. 3. What did you expect him to say, that the national assembly is a collection of inept, focusless lawmakers? It's really not Amaechi's fault that the NASS instead chooses to fast track legislation on same-sex and child marriage. 4. Please let's be objective, bias tends to make one see/hear things rather differently and I hope that's not the case here. Equating something to another means calling them both the same thing and he certainly didn't equate the ND amnesty programme to BH's. What he did was to point out the similarity in the messages implied by both amnesty offers that crime pays, by offering money to criminal groups. BBCHardtalk is hardly the platform to get in-depth and propose real solutions because topical attention is typically short-lived. Interview subjects need lots of patience to excel on the programme because the anchors are fond of interjecting questions here and there and aggressively putting subjects on the defensive. The interviews are conducted as if the subject is perceived guilty of whatever until he can prove himself innocent. I actually think it's an unfair platform for the typical multi-lingual, non-native English speaking Nigerian. However, Amaechi's interview performance was like a breath of fresh air in comparison to the shambles of public speaking that we have been subjected to in recent times by our dear President. He may not have been eloquent enough but he definitely was able to put coherent sentences together. Now I know that should be a basic quality and not something to be excited about but unfortunately it has come to that these days. |

Quantitative Reasoning and General Knowledge are completely self explanatory so there should be no reason for confusion at all. The poster has been kind enough to answer, if you're still unsure you can easily Google it. |
