But how does getting his own website prevent people from copying his work? These thieves can copy from anywhere so it's the actual act of plagiarism that needs to be dealt with. |
jp philips: I will share my opinion on the subject when there is a subject worth discussing.Oh well since you don't consider this topic worth discussing what are you doing here? Or are you confused? I suggest you get off this thread so as to satisfy your over-sized estimation of your self - it's not worth your effort anyway. Thank you. |
But jp philips who are you to judge people on how they lived their lives? You need to quit talking down on people you don't even know. Your comments are rude and condescending. It's what you've done in virtually all the 15+ comments you've made since the morning, and you've not even addressed the topic itself. Share your opinion on the topic proper or just keep your discourteous words away please. |
Hey watch the language guys and don't forget rule 2 Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to any Nairaland member. |
Mods might want to check this thread out started this morning by some 23 yr old asking for a painless way to commit suicide. https://www.nairaland.com/1391528/what-easiest-way-commit-suicide Unfortunately its been hidden but I believe the mods can still see it. |
^ Hold up, what's the reason for this unwarranted wave of attacks against others this morning? You can pass your points across without getting cheeky or judgemental. |
Who is this user quoting too many just posts to criticise them? Do you take pleasure in just criticising and indirectly insulting others? I believe you have your own opinion on the topic, why not express that instead? |
I'm impressed at how well you blended back into the rugged Naija system after years abroad. Great story, impressive stuff! J. Tony truly is a bad guy! ![]() |
^ That's a careless comment. |
Sunny Ade in OC & Stiggs (1985), a movie he had 2 songs on the soundtrack. One Youtube user's comment: "After seeing KSA 10 years ago, I talked to the promoter about the movie and he told me KSA hadn't even seen it! So I scored a copy off of eBay and sent it him. KSA sent a VERY nice get well card to my friend who had been too sick to attend the show." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1ESzFocBj4 |
Don Demu: Aggravate wetin by telling him to keep off?No, by making provocative comments to the female earlier - you did same on the Navy thread. I think you should calm down a little bit. |
Don Demu you actually started this so I would suggest you not aggravate the situation. |
Don Demu & jay02 watch the language, don't derail this smooth running thread. |
Watch the language folks. |
It depends on you but know that as tough as the UK is described, it's not half as tough as Nig. What do you plan to do with your NCE? Consider the following: Do you really want to be a teacher in Nigeria? What are the career prospects of a Nigerian teacher? In the UK, as long as you're legal there are always opportunities to take if you are motivated and focused. From my point of view the UK problem is not a lack of jobs or opportunities, but the lack of qualified hands to do the jobs. If you have the opportunity to come to the UK, why not? Education for British citizens is relatively cheap and also flexible with part-time programmes readily available. However I'd advise you to first of all determine what you want to do, it's very important. Once you identify that then go ahead and acquire the skills necessary to excel in it. If you need more advice, just ask. Good luck! |

talk2valen: 38. Interesting to note that one of the teams involved in these shows of shame, the Police Machine, represents the Police Force. Now who would investigate this scandal?Wow this is an interesting point raised by Lagbaja, never thought of it this way before now. Just imagine! 40. Since four teams were involved, multiply the number of conspirators by 4 (except match officials and spectators which should be multiplied by "only" 2). Hence, the scam was done in the open. It was a confident public show of shame. No... two confident simultaneous scams. No problem as corruption is everywhere.Confident, open and simultaneous attempts to out-scam the other! Haven't you noticed that Naija stories keep getting worse? Our failure in the past to deal with small issues has made them develop into the current compound issues we have now. And tell you what, failure to deal with the current issues would bring even bigger ones soon. Unaddressed problems would not go away but evolve into mammoth ones and it's going to be an endless cycle until either we stop it, or the whole thing implodes. Many years ago who would have ever thought: * the legalization of pedophilia would be an issue for national discourse? * our education system would virtually collapse? * we would still be dealing with bad roads and lack of power in 2013? * our national honors would be conferred and national saboteurs? * Nigerians would start moving to Ghana?! * we would be labelled a terrorist country? So, as long as we do nothing, we should expect to continue to hear increasingly worse reports. Who knows what's next? 'A nation of mumus' couldn't be more apt |
vivichocs: got an invite 4m deloitte? They won't require your NYSC cert till much later so by all means apply. And the recruitment process is sure to take quite a while that you might have finished your NYSC by the time your credentials are required. And anyway, if recruitment finishes faster than your service year you would have acquired job seeking experience which will always be useful. |
i feel that employers are at liberty to employ whoever they want to employ. even when you stop them from advertising the age requirement in the papers, they can still use it secretly during the selection process. My advise is that you should just work hard towards been self employed. you cannot beat the system.
If there was a law against it then it would be illegal for them to do so, hence anyone who feels discriminated against on that basis would have recourse to the law. |
