So youre probly gon.na break his heart when u let him know the status quo. Well now I understand how u feel more, theres no best way to do this. . . all ways are gon.na cause yawa, if you know what i mean.

The damage's already been done, what you need do now is damage control.

You have to let him know oh, put him down as gently as you can before it gets out of hand but be warned. . .its not gon.na be easy.

And be ready for anything, or can you attempt to predict his reaction when he learns he's been sharing his precious privacy with a strange woman all along?

But be optimistic, I still wouldnt write off the possibility of a redemption of your relationship (depends how he reacts), or have you lost all hope?
Music/RadioRe: Mr Wendal by 1forall: 11:44pm On Mar 22, 2007
Wow its over a year since this was posted.
I remember Mr Wendal, Everyday people, Give a man a fish, Tennessee, and a few other tracks from that album. They made a jazzy-funky afro brand of hip hop back music then. . . was cool. That was the rap in the song mr wendal. . .

adeoba:
Here have a dollar
Infact no brother man
here have two
Two dollars means a snack for me
but it means a big deal to you
be strong, serve god only
know that if you do
beautiful heavens await
that's the poem i wrote for the first time
I saw a man with no clothes no money no plate
mr wendal
that's his name
no one ever knew his name
cause he's a no one
never twice about spending on an old bum
till i had the chance to really get know one
that i know one to give him monrey isn't charity
he gives me some knoledge
i by him some shoes
to think that blacks spend all their money on big colleges
still most of us come out confused!
Mr wendal has freedom
a freedom that you and i think is dumb
he's free to be without the worries that are quick to this society
cause mr wendal is a bum
to be continued,
[Arrested Development]

That was well said cuteass. Ihujumbo heres hardly an issue beyond solution where theres communication.
But the advice youll get from this forum may be of better quality if you gave a brief background to the current situation [good communication smiley] like

That was an impressive and empathic contribution, I'm sure the topic starter shall learn a lot from your post. My little addition is that inter-ethnic marriages require working at just like any other. A successful marriage is a result of mutual effort from both parties.
Good luck.

Jokes EtcFor The Insatiable Ladies: by 1forall(op): 6:40pm On Mar 19, 2007
Recently a "Husband Super Store" opened where women could go to choose a husband from among many men.
It was laid out in five floors, with the men increasing in positive attributes as you ascended.

The only rule was, once you opened the door to any floor, you HAD to choose a man from that floor; if you went up a floor, you couldn't go back down except to leave the place, never to return.

A couple of girlfriends went to the shopping centre to find some husbands,

>First floor

The door had a sign saying, "These men have jobs and love kids." The women read the sign and said, "Well, that's better

than not having a job or not loving kids, but I wonder what's further up?" So up they went.

>Second floor

The sign read, "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, and are extremely good looking." "Hmmm," said the ladies,
"But, I wonder what's further up?"

>Third floor

This sign read, "These men have high paying jobs, are extremely good looking, love kids and help with the housework."
"Wow," said the women, "Very tempting." But there was another floor, so further up they went.>

>Fourth floor

This door had a sign saying "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the
housework and have a strong romantic streak." "Oh, mercy me," they cried, "Just think what must be awaiting us further on! So up to the fifth floor they went.

>Fifth floor

The sign on that door said, "This floor is empty and exists only to prove that women are f#$%ing impossible to please. The exit is to your left, we hope you fall down the stairs
TV/Movies24 Things We Have Learnt From Nollywood by 1forall(op): 5:01pm On Mar 19, 2007
Hello I got this in my email today and thot to share, I expect it'll be stale to some:

1. Every problem you have is spiritual.

2. In every romance movie, someone must die.

3. It is possible to hit a person without actually touching them!

4. Anyone who gets hit by a car dies immediately.

5. Poisoned food always tastes better.

6. The best way to make money is by visiting a 'Babalawo' / joining a cult / sleeping with rich men.

7. One of a pair of twins (identical or not) is born evil.

8. There is never an end to your suffering, except death!

9. With a pastor, all things are possible.

10. A movie can be titled anything, such as:
*The boy is mine
* Face me I face you
*Two rats
*Spanner
*Calculator
*Igala
*Ijele
*Igodo
*Igudu
*Shigidi

11. A movie has not been made if at least one actor/actress has not- 'shelled', twisted his/her lips to speak wrong phonetics'.

12. If you are in love and you want to take your girl out, the best place you take her to is
*Mr. Biggs/Tantalizers: where you'll most probably see an ex  ,  while feeding each other.
*The beach: where it is imperative that you ride a donkey and carry her playfully.
*Or the best: take her to buy some new ugly clothes.

13. An Igbo movie has been made if
* You visit a 'Babalawo'
* A fleet of cars is shown off at regular intervals for a total of half of the movie time.
* Kanayo 'O' Kanayo is in the movie. Pete Udochie is also there too!
* To get rich it is mandatory you join a cult

14. Gun shots and knock-outs sound the same!

15. Sometimes the title has absolutely nothing to do with the movie and other times, once you read the title and see the poster you know it all!!! (Also the soundtrack gives you a headache because it just narrates the whole story repeatedly - so much for suspense and intrigue!)

16. A love story has not been produced if it does not have one or two of the following actresses:
* Stella Damascus
* Stephanie Okereke
* Genevieve Nnaji
* Omotola Jalade
* Rita Dominic

17. The police are can be extremely 'efficient' !!!

18. An actress can wear the same hairdo for more than a year and even in longer flashbacks.

19. It is permissible to wear very dark shades at night!

20. When you are shot in the chest, it really doesn't matter; your head will be bandaged! Same for your legs!

21. When advertising a movie, you really should shout because,  people are deaf?

22. When you are extremely poor, you will still be able to afford- very good furniture, TV, but you won't be able to send your kids to school

23. Most especially in Yoruba movies, your gateman must be inefficient and comical. He MUST dress like a freak, be rude to all your visitors and never mind his business.

24.  Favourite - the bad guy always dies or gets caught by none other than the police- LOL!!!!!

Just saw this

Different girls with their different hells, these I can't stand the most:-
Before she gree:

[li]Absolutely needless and meaningless posing/fronting (esp after I know her full gist o)[/li]
[li]Actions which say to me "the ball is in your court" always![/li]
[li]Over-playn hard to get when its obvious I'm really down *hiss*, with time it becomes a turn-off [/li]
After:

[li]Foreva complaining of ill-health (headache) for selfish reasons (its not at that time of the month so yall know what I'm talkn bout), don't blame me the day theres a real condition and I aint takn u serious [/li]
[li]Unnecessary hair-splitting over the most trivial matters, WHY? [/li]
[li]Discussing our private matters with her jealous friends who wont give good advise anyway[/li]
Ladies don't get me wrong, yall not bad but why do some of you just enjoy making a mans life hell for fun?  cry
RomanceRe: nice one by 1forall: 2:48pm On Mar 16, 2007
I trip when I read the way responses go in here, interesting thing bout them is they show respondents mode of thought.

Mr Ashana  wink Ashala, Wale's said all u need to know, its for the same reasons that Nigerians blindly support Chelsea/ManUtd/Arsenal like say na their family inheritance. People naturally love to associate with success (or the prospect of it), who no like beta tin?

I wont advise sleeping with and dumping them, if u aint interested let em know point-blank (the obvious 'gold'-diggers would defntly need telling off  wink), play the game along with others, u never can tell, Ms Right could be among (and maybe not). But no matter how much your head dey swell, don't allow it turn u to what ure not.

Its why they say its easier to meet your true spouse when youre still roughing it, good luck.

EventsThey Want No Gifts At Their Wedding! by 1forall(op): 4:44pm On Mar 15, 2007
An old friend would be getting married in a few months. While we spoke some days ago he said they would be accepting no gifts? I asked and he admitted it was his idea, "Cash only", he said.

He appeared reluctant to explain his reason(s) and I didnt pry further.
It really sounded strange to me and I wonder, why should that be? huh
