Jobs/Vacancies › Zenith Interview Saturday 10th Feb by 1forall(op): 5:26pm On Feb 08, 2007
Hey people just got a call from those folks at Zenith inviting me for an Interview saturday morning at their head office. If anyone is expecting a similar call, now may be the best time to call to 'find out your score' if you don't know it already or something.

In anticipation of the questions that will be asked here, I did the test 23rd Jan and found out I passed a week or so later.

Good luck to me and y'all.
Romance › Re: 3 Things You Should Never Do Around Your Man by 1forall: 10:42am On Feb 08, 2007
My woman should feel free to do anything in my presence cos with time, I wont hesitate to do anything in hers (fart especially cheesy) only thing I cant stand is picking food from my plate with her hands (or taking my drink) without asking first, dunno why but it ticks me off.

Could someone start a topic: Things you cant stand your woman do around you

I'll be frank, there are no guarantees dude its the same everywhere, even guys in naija have challenges finding true love, ask me! But you still have to take your chances, who knows what you'll find? But please forget your phonee and all the western effizy, it simply wont help.

Good luck!
Sports › Re: Ghana Vs Nigeria Football Friendly by 1forall: 1:06pm On Feb 07, 2007
Theres nothing new to say here but I'll reiterate:

Crappy approach to the game

Coach devoid of ideas, in such friendlies you can make up to 6 changes (am I right?), what was he thinking?
(I saw Kanu warming up at a point, someone said maybe he chickened out when he saw the scores)

Who is Taye Taiwo?

Meeen, lets forget football till majority our citizens can afford 3 square meals and other basics of life.
Christianity Etc › Re: Prayer Warriors Say My Boyfriend Is Not The Husband For Me by 1forall: 5:04pm On Feb 05, 2007
Sorry girl, its a shame you have to be in this situation at all cos the way I see it, even if you make the right decision afterall, you may not be absolutely sure and marriage is one of those things for which u need all the conviction in the world. Forget about those complaining about your list, you hadnt married the guy yet had you? If your BF was asked to do same we dont know if you would had been the only on his list. Or had you guys agreed you were getting married? If you had already decided that you were gonna marry your BF then my advise is:

1.  You cant blame your parents too much since they did not know your boyfriend all along and as far as theyre are concerned theyre doing the best for you cos they want the best for you anyway.

2.  Explain to your parents how unwise you think it is that some people who dont know either you or your BF are deciding your choice of lifelong partner.

3.  If the 'prayer warriors' know the proposed husband, use it to strengthen your argument cos they may be 'seeing' things to favor him.

4.  A pastor once told me he doesnt involve himself in this husband/wife prophecy buisiness cos he considers it delicate, what if the union splits later on?

5.  Compatibility is more important than prophecy my dear, do you even know this guy well enough? Guess not.

Whatever the case, theyve managed to unsettle your erstwhile equilibrium somehow and I dont think its fair on you but you have to manage it as best as possible to achieve your desire with minimal friction on all sides.

6.  Very important, pray, and follow your heart.

Take care and good luck!

Shinor:
Guys i just read an article today 9/7/2006 that the FCT Minister is about to release some funds for an abuja rail system to take off. hmmmmm. They must have read these postings.
Also OBJ has just signed some stuff with some canadians to help sort things out
and now 7 months after?

If we remember how long it took for the 3rd mainland to materialize (and how much it gulped) then we can imagine what it'll take to build a fourth. Abeg lets face reality and put that on our list of looooong term expectations.

Romance › Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by 1forall: 3:36pm On Jan 31, 2007
Well I personally regard virginity as ideal, Gods word is explicit enough and its underscored by the values with which majority of parents bring up their kids this side of the world. Therefore I do respect virgins, especially as these virtually moral-free times make it apparently less attractive to stay off sex.

As for true love, generally, virginity is no determinant whatsoever. Shout out to the vigins in the house!!

Stuff like that teach you how to balance your emotions in relationships. You learn to separate sentiment from emotions after you go through such, you learn to use your head too, not only your heart. Shame it took you 8 years to realise, pele.  I guess youre stronger now right?

funketobi she shouldnt 'give up' on the guy because he has given up on her already, she should just simply forget him, he only going to take further advantage if she 'succeeds' in getting him back, the grafitti handwriting is on the wall already. Guys like that arent worth the worry girl.
