PoliticsRe: Ribadu Flees Nigeria? by 1luvkipsus: 11:40am On Dec 09, 2008
@Crea8tivity

Its quite pathetic that you have devaited form womahood (motherhood) to the path of evil that was hitherto dominated my men. If you can speak so openly but foolishly in favor of corruption in our land like this, I can not but dismiss you as a devil incarnate. You have got no dignity and integrity. Where is the spirit of Dora, Ngozi, Oby etc, in you as a fellow woman? I cry for you.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: Nigeria's Best President So Far? by 1luvkipsus: 7:33pm On Dec 06, 2008
If you followed the most recent poll conducted by Raypower to determine the best leader to have emerged in Nigeria, OBJ was voted by Nigerians to be the best leader to have emerged. Awolowo, who was declared winner of that poll was only voted by the Yorubas. So,its very undisputable that OBJ remains the best leader Nigeria has had. The people that know his worth better have recently given him a UN job.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Flees Nigeria? by 1luvkipsus: 7:25pm On Dec 06, 2008
no,
this is what you get when you feel that you're too big to obey the rules
this is what you get when you don't use your head correctly
this is what you get when you have something to hide

remember? nobody is above the law, by ribadu 2006.
we're all nigerian citizens before anything else, ribadu should be arrested just like any other nigerian that steps on the rules
.

Unspeakable of woman to have responded like this. Its a pity!!
If Ribadu has actually left Nigeria, its not that he has 'fleed' the country per se, but I think he has gone to where he and his work will be appreciated; the civilized world. He will soon pick up a UN job. Afterall, who would not want to 'flee' a country like Nigeria??

Were (or are) you people legally married or just staying together? Because I don't see how you are gonna walk out of a 4 year marriage just because you caught your man cheating on you. Most married women would have been divorcees today. Hasty decisions are always regretable. Take it easy!!!

PoliticsRe: Soyinka Rejects Abuja Street by 1luvkipsus: 6:27pm On Nov 09, 2008
Soyinka should go and find more profitable use of his time.

Abacha has not officially be convicted of any crime, and as a former head of state, positive or otherwise he will have streets named after him. Frankly there is nothing highly significant or memorable about road naming - There is a street called Addis Ababa in Abuja, what did they do for us?

While he is at it, he should sue the Kano State government for naming a Stadium after Abacha.

Has Soyinka now made himself the determinant of who gets streets named after them? Some people (many in Northern Nigeria) will still tell you Abacha was a great man, you can still buy his posters and car stickers aplenty up North, so if Soyinka does not want the street name, he should just go quietly. There are many people who think Abacha is deserving of the 'honour' and his opinion is in no guise more important than theirs, even if his megaphone is louder.

Street naming as a political tool is such a Nigerian thing, we like to discuss trivial issues instead of facing our true challenges.

Will naming the street change anything? Except causing confusion for newcomers to Abuja, since the street names will not be updated on maps and the like. Rubbish
I don't blame hime. I blame the Fed. Govt that named a street after hime. For what? For being a Nobel Lauret? At least he too has gotten a chance to replay the Achebe's music of rejection.

PoliticsObama, The Beginning Of The End Of The World! by 1luvkipsus(op): 3:24pm On Nov 06, 2008
That Barack 'Hussein' Obama has been elected the US president is not too much a suprise to me, but what is amazing is that he won on a 'landslide'. Methink somethings is wrong somewhere and this might be a dangerous signal. Honestly, I am not comfortable with his victory.

PoliticsRe: Maryam Babangida To Obj, Ribadu: No Condition Is Permanent by 1luvkipsus: 8:04pm On Nov 02, 2008
Yeah, we all know that no condition is permanent just like nemesis will soon catch up with her devilish husband. But IBB was not even mentioned in the most recent poll of the greatest Nigerian leader to have emerged. OBJ came second, infact first because he was the one really voted by Nigerians unlike Awo who was voted by Yorubas.
PoliticsRe: Efcc Protecting Corrupt Politicians by 1luvkipsus: 8:00pm On Nov 02, 2008
We are about the most useless people on the surface earth. When Ribadu was dealing with corrupt Nigerians, what did we say? We said he was fighting OBJ's enemies. Why this cry now that Ribadu is out of the way? Like the Americans will say 'We ain't seen nothing yet'. Untill Waziri begins to collect bribe herself from corrupt Governors to protect them, we will not know that the fight against corruption is a lost one the momemt Ribadu was removed.
PoliticsRe: "Who Are You? Who Are You?" - Legislator To Keyamo by 1luvkipsus: 7:51pm On Nov 02, 2008
And I will join the Honourable members to ask Keyamo 'Who are you?' Every Nigerian Lawyer wants to be like Gani, and Keyamo is exploring every available means to make himself popular. He should watch his back. A slave should note that he will be buried the same way his colleagues were buried. Keyamo is becoming the nuisance that Gani once was.

why don't u believe
@Topic,not surprised BUT now, whats going to happen to the Ex-minister and money?i guess it would be swept under the carpet . . . . .as usual
If you believe that a Minister could waste $10 billion in less than two years, then you have got empty head. I wonder if people that quote this kind of amount are really human beings or some kind of under brigde market women or okada riders!! Not even N10b. Idiots!!!!
PoliticsRe: FCT Minister Weeps (After Removal By Yar'adua) by 1luvkipsus: 7:40pm On Oct 31, 2008
I am so happy for his removal because I predicted it and it came to pass. Moddibbo remains the worst FCT Minister to have emerged. Its good riddance to bad rubbish.
PoliticsRe: Militants Rape 28 Female Youth Corps Members by 1luvkipsus: 8:27pm On Oct 25, 2008
Were those corps members kidnapped before being rapped or they went to the creeks in search of greener pasture? Don't say that you never knew that the millitants' den is very rich monetery, and I know what some desperate female corpers could do to make money.
