By all means then, let's tell the ladies they can do it...let's tell them that "what a man can do,a woman can do better"...let's not tell them that in its over 100 years of inception and with 870 winners, the Nobel prize has only been awarded 49 times to women.

I understand your need to encourage the women folk, but please remind them that it's a tough field out there. As someone here rightly pointed out, most of the women on your list are dead and have been so for a very long time!

I'm sorry if I come off as a bit chauvinistic but the facts are axiomatic....
Even if you do have a point i strongly believe if someone did it,others can do it tooi.Irrespective of their gender and the inherent challenges. These women also had their challenges and they pushed through..

Naijainvestor:
Not sure how much of elementary economics the monetary experts in C BN understand. They all seem to be supply side economists
By restricting the sale, you are lowering supply and with increased demand, the price of the dollar will go up. There is need to manage the demand side too. The elesticity of demand for the dollar is highly in elastic almost perfectly in elastic. As long as the price of oil keeps falling and Nigerians keep going abroad for vacation, buying imported foods, etc, the Naira will keep being under pressure
They are setting the stage for a huge fall for themselves

Careless wish

Your wishes are always good but action bad.

Sir please stop wishing because you were given the chance to change this nation but your action spoilt everything more

Sometime I just wish you keep quiet and just let's nigeria be.

Your wish are what I will call sweet mouth, then your action bomb.

You disappointed nigeria,not only that

You disappointed south south including Niger delta where I came from...to make matter worst

You disappointed your brothers from bayelsa

Mr ex president, personally am seek and tired of your wish, when you came in,i thought we will see light not knowing you re leading us to a more darkness....God will never forgive you for the life that went down due to the sake of your recklessness.
Whatever you have typed does not change what he has done which is sending a message to Nigerians. The earlier we all Nigerians let these leaders be with our "HATING" and all the better for us. If it isn't Buhari today it's Jonathan tomorrow

Politics › Re: Now That Crude Is Gradually Becoming Worthless, What Next For Niger Delta? by 1miccza: 10:12pm On Dec 30, 2015
Bryan37:
It's no news that only 13% of 2016 budget will be funded by the SALE of Crude

Which means that Nigeria is gradually diversifying its economy away from the Oil sector which is expected to even "nose down more". By d time Iran starts pumping their Oil into the international Market, also with d demand for cleaner energy rising day by day and d Cost becoming cheaper and cheaper, I can tell u that in d Next 20 yrs a bucket of Clean water may worth more than a bucket of toxic crude.

What will become of ND a report that has been raped by the Nigeria Government for the past 10 decade

I keep wondering if d OIL was a gift or a curse to this region which made them so Lazy, Corrupt and underdeveloped. Infact d most popular Slogan in d Niger Delta is " our oyel".

The only time ND man is considered in the scheme of things in Nigeria is compensation because of their Oil. Eg emergence of Goodluck Jonathan etc,

Now that the value is gradually diminishing and d reseRve trying, you wonder if this region has done enough or if they are prepared for the storm coming their way.

I must confess, am happy we re moving away from Oil and you are happy too but what will become of our brothers who only relevant is dependent on CRUDE
They would have no choice than to go back to agriculture
