If you annoy me,I may not batter you.
It depends on the severity and same applies to whites.
Concerning human rights violation,I think every country has offenders.
In other words,it is human to offend.
It is also human to show care and affection/attraction.
Let's keep the discussion friendly ,1Sharon.
Pls don't pretend like the violations in Africa don't take the cake

Like I said everyone expresses emotions. It's not exclusive to blacks smiley
It's the way you express it. Black ppl are prone to outbursts, not very in control

Jeromejnr:
I don't generalise.
What is this?

Jeromejnr:
I beseech you Nigerians to repent and return to God so that your land can be healed.

I know its not yet a serious issue for some now, until it hits close to home. Then you will start scampering about for solution. As we have seen with cases already rising in the south.

Don't just pray, repent. Many are praying but not repenting. Turn from your wicked ways for you are a Godless and lawless society.

It's your decision.

Emotions? So only black people feel fear, happiness, fear, disgust, joy, surprise, trust?

A racist criticises blacks because of HATe. Because of their skin colour. There's no justifying it. Everyone expresses emotions. It's not exclusive to blacks
Did I ever say that? Everyone feels emotions, it's way the you express them.

I like your moniker.
We all generalise including you.
Nairaland General › Re: Why Is The Average Nigerian Always Angry? by 1Sharon(f): 2:04pm On Mar 07, 2021
HellVictorinho:
Both blacks and whites can be angry or mentally ill.
If you annoy a black person they can batter you there and then, but a white person can say his peace while keeping their hands to themselves. because they know the law and how to maintain decorum

Why do you think Africa is the land of human rights violation?

And most ppl desire to emigrate to Western nations?
Nairaland General › Re: Why Is The Average Nigerian Always Angry? by 1Sharon(f): 2:01pm On Mar 07, 2021
HellVictorinho:
False.
I am in control of my emotions.
What about you?
How do you feel now?
I speak in general, outliers exist of course.

Nope but it's true.
Nairaland General › Re: Why Is The Average Nigerian Always Angry? by 1Sharon(f): 1:50pm On Mar 07, 2021
Black people in general are not in control of their emotions.

This is why racists say black people are child-like.

because mainly children can't control their emotions

Christians call Him Yahweh

Sorry sharon, but you'd find I'm not particularly interested in beliefs since they are usually the crap that people create inside their heads, mostly without reading the book, it being a big book and rarely read by most, or misunderstood when read.

Do hola though whenever you wish to discuss knowledge, like what is actually written in the book you read for yourself, as I am always interested in the views of intelligent people who read.
Well! We're on the same page. Yes I also know there's a lack of continuity between religious beliefs and the holy books.

I'm coming to the levels of Christians by reiterating what they believe.

What was our initial premise again?

The name of God being Jesus?

You are not a Christian. You are just mentioning what you believe Christians believe. Got you.
Nope, I'm mentioning what I KNOW Christians believe.

Majority of Christians believe God is the same as Jesus. Your views are in the minority and not widely accepted.

Am I wrong or right?

If I wanted to discuss Christian beliefs I would find a Christian who believes it to discuss it with.

What I am however discussing here is what 1Sharon believes or knows or understands, and if 1Sharon would oblige me by speaking for herself, I would more than appreciate it especially if 1Sharon is not just spreading the ignorance of others.

So, I ask. Are you parroting what you have been told to believe or what you read in the book and know for yourself?
In that case, stop mentioning me and go ahead talk to your fellow Christians. Cos we have done nothing but talk about Christian beliefs

Ignorance of others? They would also call you ignorant, even an apostate.

,'What I have been told to believe or read and know in a book myself'?

I just told you I'm not a Christian, why ask me that dumb question?

So you can't run and pray to God for strength to outrun your chaser? What form of "Christians" are being bred in this country?! So I open my eyes while sleeping? Are you for real? So since I close my eyes while sleeping, then I should close my eyes while praying, right? Which means since I keep my mouth shut while sleeping, I should also shut my mouth while praying? Is that how you reason, or you're just trying to be funny. For the sake of everything sane, I hope not. The reason why you close your eyes while praying is to focus? So you close your eyes while reading the Bible too? Or you're telling me you're not focused while reading the Bible. By the way, how do you close your ears while praying? Cos the last time I checked one can be distracted by sound too.
Logic! Lol.. I love this
Christianity Etc › Re: Discussion: Belief In God Is A Useless Proposition by 1Sharon(f): 4:17pm On Mar 06, 2021
LordReed:
1. If a god exists, belief or lack thereof does nothing to change the situation.

2. If a god exists and is the source of all morality but yet you can adhere to the morality without belief then belief adds nothing to the equation.

Going by these to points above I am inclined to say belief in god is useless.

I could add more to this as time goes on but I'd be happy to hear your view.
HELL!

OP, HELL!

Do the majority dictate what is written in the book?

Did you read inside it yourself that Jesus is God?

Does one need to be a special one to use ones own eyes and brain?
I'm not a Christian. Majority of Christians believe that Jesus is god, you take that question up with them.

You feel you know better, tell them.

I'm reiterating what is believed.

Christians do not all believe the same things as you'd know if you are not dumb. You will find them arguing in many threads here if you bothered to check, which is why I strongly suggest you read the book yourself to know what is written in it instead of relying on the misunderstanding of those who might not have read it.
Majority of Christians believe the same things. Only a small sect of Christians don't believe God and Jesus are the same. And how well are those ones accepted?

Misunderstanding? Let me guess, you're the special chosen one with divine understanding right? And all other are unfortunate and lost right?

My mistake there about the use of the word "All" there.

Now that still does not make meaningful your question about what majority of Christians call God or not since the name of God(if it exists) should exist independent of the views of a majority. undecided
Liar.

And what is the name of God and why don't majority agree with you?
