PoliticsRe: North Ready For Nigeria’s Breakup–junaid Mohammed by 1soul(m): 7:13am On Mar 06, 2012
The north are too bothered about the south and what goes on there, especially now that the minorities they fought to devide with their Igbo brothers through an avoidable war and warped media propaganda have decoded their devide and rule tactics, and therefore are reunited back together. The north should border about their vast last and how to uutilize it to be self-sustained, while the south will take care of its business. This is not 1967 but 2years to 2014, hence the urgent need for United State of America to start building her embassy in the Islamic Northern Republic before the inevitable disintegration. Think about it!!! it's all part of the politics of the west; keeping an eye on the terrorist-north, knowing there have huge uranium deposit, especially in Kano.

If size of land equates development, then Israel and Japan shouldn't be the world's best today. Human Resources is the best thing God can ever bless any nation with, and the south has it. People like Chinua Achebe, Pius Okigbo, Philip Emeagwali, Chikobi, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili, Chiwetal, Kanu, Mikel Obi, Okocha, Innoson, etc, etc. Etc, All these people rose without government effort. The shoes, bags, cloths and belts the people in the north use today are all products of the south, and very soon buses and cars made in our 3.14% land mass will flood up your desert regions as palliative to alleviate the gruesome poverty coming your way.

For the records, there are more southerners living and doing excellently well outside the shores of nigeria than there are living outside the southern states. We are all over Africa and other continents generating foreign exchange, therefore southerner's leaving the north won't and has not affected the price of tea in china. You can't curse who God has blessed!

We have rich human resources by world standard, not withstanding the fact that the whole SS/SE sits on top oil, but who cares about the oil? Lazy minds! Even if the oil was found in the north, the south will still be far better than you, just like comparing America to Iran. Disintegrate this country and see how the north will be used as source of cheap 'industry-labour' and aswell locating hazardous and dangerous industrial activities like Skin-Taneries we have presently have over there.

RomanceCan He Date Her Younger Sister Now That She's Married To Another Man by 1soul(op): 11:42pm On Feb 19, 2012
He was at first inlove with her elder sister, they were intimate but never had intimacy, though they had good romance worth penetration. Their plan was to get married but she couldn't wait, so she married another man while he was in his 500 level in the university. Now he feels deeply for her younger sister whom he has been mentoring from her level one, they've been reading together and she looks up to him for inspiration and advice. Can he date and possibly settle with her? Is it right and justified?
PoliticsLets Close The Gap Between The Igbo And The Yoruba. Southern Nigeria Has Played The Fool For Far Too by 1soul(op): 5:17pm On Feb 18, 2012
The North controls power not by virtue of
superior intellect or ability, but by default as
beneficiary of the gap existing between the
Yoruba and the Igbo.  Thus, Yoruba and
Igbo need this accommodation for their
respective good, not as a favor to the
other.  The day that accommodation is
found, Nigeria's music will sound a different
and more pleasant note.

PoliticsRe: Dissolve Nigeria. . . Everybody Find Him Papa House! by 1soul(m): 8:58am On Feb 13, 2012
Nigeria has already been divided as Christian dominant south and the Muuslim dominant North by the media, while the middle belt will determine their position by referendum, but going by Senator Joseph Waku's stand point, they might remain strapped to the north for a very long time, as the belt that held them is still very much around their waist.

If after the North/South division we still can't forge a common destiny beyond ethnicity down south then we further devide along ethnic and cultural affiliation.

The inoculation is formulated through the disease, just like antidote is to poison. The core north and her hegemony is the main problem of nigeria. I wish the south will realise this and rise above artificial ethnic/tribal devide and rule boundaries created to undermine the south despite her intellectual advancements over the north.

We can end it all and achieve our republic through an ''OCCUPY SOUTHERN NIGERIA'' to show the world our displeasure with this entity called Nigeria, We already have every reason to undo what was done in 1914. The killing in the north is against the south/christians as contained in their fliers. Only in Kano were the northerners mistakenly affected and the BK were remorseful, which also attracted a N100 Million compensation from our own very CBN. Is the signs no glaring and clear enough that we are not one??

The problem with the Southern Nigeria is the foolishness of not taking a united stand against their common enemy(born to rule north), they are still suffering from their colonial devide and rule syndrome, while the north has graduated to international terrorism, up to issuing threats to assassinate a US ambassador if his country ever sign to assist rid us of them, or break us out of their hostage of BokoHaram.

The south needs to wake up and tell the world we want out!!!

Yes, Out of this locomotive machine designed to keep us in a state of perpetual rewind!!!

Christianity EtcMiracle In Egypt; Christianity Is The True Religion! by 1soul(op): 2:17pm On Feb 09, 2012
A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife
because she was reading the Bible and then
buried her with their infant baby and an 8-
year old daughter. The girls were buried
alive! He then reported to the police that an
uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another
family member died. When they went to
bury him, they found the 2 little girls under
the sand.

. . ALIVE! The country is outraged over the
incident, and the man will be executed. The
older girl was asked how she had survived
and she says: 'A man wearing shiny white
clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands,
came every day to feed us.
He woke up my mom so she could nurse my
sister,' she said. She was interviewed on
Egyptian national TV, by a vailed Muslim
woman news anchor. She said on public TV,
'This was none other than Jesus, because
nobody else does things like this!' Muslims
believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the
wounds mean He really was crucified, and
it's clear also that He is alive! But, it's also
clear that the child could not make up a
story like this, and there is no way these
children could have survived without a true
miracle. Muslim leaders are going to have a
hard time to figure out what to do with this,
and the popularity of the Passion movie
doesn't help! With Egypt at the center of the
media and education in the Middle East, you
can be sure this story will spread.
. Christ is still turning the world upside
down! Please let this story be shared. The
Lord says, 'I will bless the person who puts
his trust in me. 'Jeremiah 17.
Please forward to all on your list and God
will reward you abundantly! Mark 8:38
which says, 'Therefore whosoever shall be
ashamed of Me and my Words in this
adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man shall also be ashamed of him when He
comes in the glory of His Father with the
holy angels'. Don't worry if those you have
forwarded will respond or do anything with this message, just fulfill your part and shake off your dust. . .

What happened to working towards unity amongst yourselves??

when last did you guys discuss factors that unites you instead of all this divisional factors?? Blacks nations are dumb!! Remove religious sentiment, they'll fall for ethnic bigotry, Cure that one and they'll still find something to further divide themselves.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Eventually Break Written By Femi Fani-kayode by 1soul(m): 4:02pm On Jan 29, 2012
@noevil. This is 2012 and not 1967, we all have learnt from our mistakes. How long shall we continue to accuse eachother? The truth be told, our governors have betrayed us even more and still doing so as we speak. Where is your christianity if you can't forgive and give someone another chance? Afterall how perfect are youhuh We are all faced with war from a common enemy, so don't come here and start inciting another internal war! The writer and even other several literature from notable Yorubas and the Middle-belt has stressed that fact that they were wrong by taking side with the north during the civil war. Now lets start chatting a new course by forming a common front with representation from all the regions involved, by this an agreement is reached.

As an Igbo man you should know better that business depends on population, that's why I said we all need eachother. Are you planning to close up all the Igbo businesses in Lagos and other parts of Middle-belt?? Igbo land is a place that has potential for develop into an industrial hub and technological power house. Where would your labour be coming from considering the highly independent mindset of an igboman to own his own business? How about market for your goods?

Incase you don't even know, Nigeria has already been divided into two as far as the media and whatever mastermind behind the scene is concerned, that's why you keep hearing ''CHRISTIAN SOUTH and the MUSLIM NORTH'' It is now our duty to ensure we are very united so as not to be taken undue advantage of by the western world when that inevitable war begins.

We need to stick together in the south because the main war will be after the brake-up must have materialized. The core north might endure for awhile but certainly nuclear terrorists will arise by the time hunger and poverty strikes as a result of been cut off from the monthly oil revenue. Then the feeling of betrayal will set in backed up with the notion 'oil exploration was developed with their groundnut resources' The case of launching nuclear bombs and missiles developed from iran with the Uranium dug-out from Kano will be the next threat facing the southern republic. If by then we are not technologically advanced to cub it, we would have no option than to survive at ransom.

The earlier you start thinking right, the better for us all,

I love the message and I don't care who the messanger was. All I care is who he has become and the content of his write up as regards what is at stake in this dungeon called Nigeria. Can we simply assume he has turned a new leaf and now ready to champion this move, until proven otherwise. Some of the world's greatest activists were once a sell out to the course they later die fighting for in their lives. I respect the writer, atleast for one thing, he has the courage to say it!

The big problem with the south is lack of unity born out of greed, egoticism, and poor ethnic reprentatives, who are supporse to be working as one. Here is an opportunity for the south to protest in unison with placards saying ''WE WANT THE NORTH GONE!'' and ''WE ARE REPUBLIC OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA!''

The president is helpless and can't be the voice for the southern disintegration, we need to help him convey this message to the world, we need to set the track for him, and you'll be surprised how smooth he'll ride along. Please Igbos and the Yorubas we need to swallow whatever differences we have and champion this course as one people. We need eachother, even though our pride tells us otherwise.

The Middle-belt and the south-south awaits you[Yoruba & Igbo] to set the ball rolling!

''REPUBLIC OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA'' is now.

@Mathskill,
Bluetooth did not PROOF me wrong, rather he expressed his personal opinion which does not necessarily speak for the Odua nation, that was why I said forget what u read online and face fact. The Tribalism on nairaland won't let u see the truth. Igbos and Yorubas are all good people and have been coexisting together in various cities in Nigeria and even in diaspora. All these internet tribal warriors u see all over the net, nairaland inclusive either come here to tease or they are bunch of frustrated lowlifes looking for who to blame for their woes, I stopped using places like this as a determinant long ago. If u take what u read here to heart, it could make u start passing unnecessary hate to ur good neighbours.

A United Southern Nigeria will stand!!

@Mathskill & Tom Ford.
The kind of break up that will happen in Nigeria is going to be just an exclusion of the BokoHaram listed states. forget the rivalry between the Igbos and the Yorubas, in real life they get along well. The SS on their own want a united southern Nigerian republic more than you think. Ok reason like this, if they want to go, you think the Igbos there would leave their kit and kins in SE?

And to even say the truth, the whole south are all endowed with one resources or the other. Agriculture, solid minerals, crude oil and human resources which is the topmost. And talking of oil, almost all the southern states are sitting on crude oil eg. Ondo, Abia, Imo, Anambra etc.

@Babagy or whatever you call urself, We are better of without you bloody vampires from the North . You hate christians for no just reason and yet we share thesame country!? I don't blame you, I blame the whitemen that amalgamated us into one imperfect entity. 51 years couldn't heal the stitches, that goes a long way to show how incompatible we are and will forever remain. The end is here already, I can't wait to wear a new and better identity than this one that puts me through intense security scrutiny at airports as potential terrorist each time I'm travelling, all because of my God forsaken Nationality. Yes! every Nigerian is seen as a potential threat and it's all because of this same North. I just pity the liberal muslims amidst them. they might as well be hunted as saboteours after the eventual collapse of Nigeria.

Democratic Republic of Southern Nigeria is now or never!!

That's the spirit!!! Some people NEVER
want to see a united South with the NC!!!
You guys need to start understanding what
is going on in Nigeria. The SS and SE alone
did not give GEJ victory. It was a a
combined effort! The moment the South
allows pettiness to trickle in, that will be the
beginning of OUR problems and the end
result will be worse than what we have
now. That is OUR chance! Let's not allow
OUR suspicion for each other to tear the
South apart!
God bless!

@Jason123.
I would take a United South Nigeria anytime, anyday if at all it's possible, but going by the comments I read here, sometimes I doubt the possibility of that happening, until the day the Yorubas & Igbos come to a round table to iron out their differences.

One thing I'm sure of is this ''Nigeria will disintegrate!'' and if Southern Nigeria makes it out of this unholy marriage in one piece, I'll be the happiest for it!!

I'm waiting, hoping it doesn't come with war & blood shed!!!

@Devine. There is nothing comforting about being Nigerian outside the shores other than embarrassment at the airports once ur passport is green, If Malaysia of all places turned my luggage inside out simply because of my nationality, then tell me what comfort u r talking about?

Whether u accept it or not Nigeria is SICK, it suffers from enemies from within, Technology is the key! Yet it's still thesame people from this country that work against local ingenuity, what's the big deal if it's not coming from ur region, if truly we are one we'll all see it as ours.

We have become an object of mockery ''confused Giant of Africa'' coming from ur region, if truly we are one we'll all see it as ours.

I mean to say the Yorubas see all of us from the SS & SE as thesame, the only difference is crude oil. An average Yoruba man can't even differentiate btw an ijaw man & an Igbo man, not to talk of an Akwa Ibom man. We know our stronghold and why a SS name it to the presidency Today!
PoliticsRe: How Gaddafi Recruited Nigerians Into Libyan Army by 1soul(m): 4:32pm On Oct 02, 2011
Old Esatern region know themselves despite whatever new geo-political region emerged after the war. They know our streght together that's why they are striving so hard to keep us in disagreement. They suceeded at the beginning with this kind of junk news, which lead to even some igbos denying their race. But my brothers that era is gone cos we've learnt our lesson. You the yorubas see us all from the SE & SE as thesame people, the only difference is the oil wealth. And if u think we are not together then u'll be suprised once the contraption called nigeria collapse. Check in all the nigerian cities & u'll see that we are more at home among the igbo's than we can ever be with the yorubas. We might disagree at some point, even brothers quarrel but at the end of the day they settle at home. So please you guys should stop all these rubbish media propaganda for it's not going to work this time around.

Three is a very bad number especially where a complex interplay of religion and ethnicity is involved, that's why Nigeria will never work. Two is a good number that's why South Africa is doing fine.

Oya, Lets apply elimination method cos i'm just tired of this version of 9ja. Over 70 million people out there just like me feel dsame. Nigeria needs no remedial incrementalist approach but rather a radical one like southern Sudan.

PoliticsRe: Ex Judge Advocates For Christian Courts In Nigeria: Like Sharia Courts by 1soul(m): 9:56am On Aug 11, 2011
This country Nigeria is already split along religious line, we all are just pretending to be one and forcing ourselves to stay together, even the future has no space such entity. Whether we accept it or not the boundary is becoming so glaring for all to see and as the pot continues to melt, our difference will continue to become bolder and inevitable. Issues like this will continue to emanate untill we ''the South/Christians in this country'' grow the balls to say this illegitimate marriage is over. Religion is a very strong thing especially in a country where the muslims are close to 40 percent. There can never be peace until their Holy Book becomes the law and constitution, if not they will be regarded as lesser muslims who are still under the rule of infidels. BokoHaram is a very good example, yet we still seat here taking everything with a pinch of salt. On a final note, the Igbos and the Yorubas are a perfect match despite whatever past between them which were all a path in our process of learning,. Their competition even here is a healthy one, as each tries to be the Eagle among Eagles and that's the sure path to a progressive nation if well managed. Each are a motivating factor to the other and have coexisted peacefully. The north is due for secession, let Ghadafi's solution prevail and see how fast we's rise to a super nation.

Untill we face this TRUTH Nigeria will continue to deteriorate and naturally fall apart.
