Thank you! I am using the airline on the 1st also. Expect for the long layover i think it’s generally fine and since they provide free hotel and food. It’s not too bad |

I have been denied US visa 4 times, Canada 2, UK 1 while my husband UK once and US 3 times.
He applied for UK study visa on the 16th of January, priority, they proved his, mine and our son yesterday, 22nd January. Abuja visa office. Congratulations chai USA 4 times. I think if USA has denied you 2 times the likelihood of getting Canada is down by half |

Cigbojugha: Thanks a lot for your response. Can I please know where you majored because I was thinking cyber security as a course covers those other area/field you mentioned. Thanks Anything IT related is good bro. Cyber security is a very good field, provided you can put in the work required to learn the skills in cyber security like how to use Linux for ethical hacking, penetration testing and the likes you would be fine. Do you have your BSC. In computer science? |

grossintel: Thanks but no thanks, you can send that to those begging for it. I'm doing good, I'm able to figure out how Nigeria works to an extent and make a living from what I do. But everyone I tried to teach or help fails! I see what my siblings go through and I know my kids will surfer the same faith if not worse. I know some people who's parents retired from Shell, Total etc, but due to the fact they where much younger and before they could finish from school, everyone Daddy used to know has retired so they start looking for jobs with little to no luck. I don't want my kids to think like you, I don't want them thinking owning a car or house is your destiny in life. When you buy a Venza you do a thanks given in church, when you buy an iPhone Xs max you throw a party and disturbe the Nigerian internet space. I don't want them thinking having a big ass is better than a masters degree! Being an instagram prostitute is your sure way to millions on BBNAIJA, and studying to be the best in class is your sure way fustration. Everything about Nigeria sucks, if it works for you, kudos! I'm a programmer, my mates are learning how to make cars drive themselves and making a killing from it. Staying back here is the worst decision I ever made, and it's because I used to listen to people like you. Anyone reading this, if your young, educated and skilled, Nigeria is not for you! Leave! Don't let those people who can barely read and comprehend a sentence discourage you simply because there life isn't working out. The same UK people complain about, my friend lives there and comes back every 4 months like plane ticket is free, and drives a 2019 Range! Same car heads roll for in Nigeria. Follow your dreams, abroad will be very beneficial to you as long as you have your papers you'll be more than happy you left. I am a programmer also. This post is on point |

Fwaz: Morning guys!! Need an advice please I'm going for an Msc in uk on Tetfund sponsorship, I went for standard visa and I submitted my school award letter in place of bank statements which I believe is ok.. Did my biometric/interview on 17/12/2019 and I got the not straight forward message from Sheffield on 9/01/2020. I placed a call on ukvi yesterday and I was told decision has not been taken and they will escalate it. My induction just ended this week and lectures will commence this coming Monday that's 20th..
My latest date is 02/02/2020
My question is Do ukvi contact TetFund for verification because I don't know why the whole thing is taking much time? I gat friends from my school on the same Tetfund award and their Visa has been approved though only mine was send to Sheffield because I received both the "application transferred to Sheffield for decision making and not straight forward message" and non of them did.
Please help a frustrated soul☹️☹️☹️I'm tensed Every application is different in it own way. The fact that your friend didn’t get a application not straight forward mail doesn’t mean you wouldn’t get also. I don’t think there’s anything you can do that you haven’t done already which may be to call the uk home office. You can just ask for extension from your school |

nappy760: Hi guys I see so many people are really working towards immigrating to Canada and I also plan to start the process this year God willing but I'll like to ask a question. Are the opportunities in Canada so vast ? With the number of people on this thread I fear all the opportunities could have been taken already. When I see comments like this I jus don’t know what to say. The sky is wide enough for every bird to fly in and flourish. Why worry and keep staying on the side line? Check your CRS score, are you qualified ? How can you be more competitive among the crowd? I think these are more important questions you need to be asking yourself Cheers |

Royalejr: Thanks bro.. I’d do just that. Also, someone just gave me an option of walk-in, said I should go there and ask for walk-in. Why do walk in when you can apply to VI. Pay 28k. Service fee and do your interview on Thursday. Priority service, before 27th you would have your visa. |

55emem55: Sorry, but I think you don't have to be in a formal setting before using the right English terminology.
You're coaching people on IELTS, it is only proper to lead by example. Demonstrating that people can learn from you even without being under your tutelage.
'Am' shouldn't be used to replace 'I'm', no matter the setting. It's just wrong English.
My thoughts. Isn’t this just petty |

Chinlin: Hello people! About that TB certificate, must I do another xray? I did medicals mid last year for Canada so I don’t know if IOM can use that test results to prepare a TB certificate rather than me doing another xray. Apart from the money involved, exposure to xray once again in less than a year is not too good. Any ideas or anybody been in this situation before Lol that’s what I thought also but they said I have to do it again. I did just last year July for Canada |

are we Nigerians the one adding pepper and salt to the rule that the money cannot be touched . ...but why would some schools ask you to reprint the statement of account |
