Hello guys. I am trying to help my junior sister with a visit visa to the UK to see me, she's currently a university student in Nigeria. I intend on submitting my UK bank statement to support her application.
what other documents do you guys think I should include to support her?
She has a letter from her department stating that she's still a student and she's on semester break. |

ENEMIESENEMY: Wow.
I'm currently on this issue too, well, I could pay another 42k, but have you been able to initiate the process of your refund to be sure you'd get your money back? Or the money is gone?
Also, was it after you paid you were then able to upload your documents? I just paid another 50k tbh, I have sent a mail to TLS customer service and my bank to see how to get my money back. Yes, you need to pay before you can upload the docs. |

Aibisoye0: Hello House...How's everyone....please who has flown Egypt Air recently to the UK. I need to get to the UK for a few days and it's looks like the cheapest but the layover is not here at all. Do they provide accommodation? How are their planes as well? I used Egyptair late 2019. They provided hotel to stay. Very nice experience overall. Enjoyed my time in Egypt. Someone with a more recent experience can share to help |

Thanks for the advice big man Kukujajaja: Eya! I am so sorry for her conditions at present. It is quite unfortunate that lots of Nigerians failed to understand that UK education system is far different from Nigeria fire fighting approach to studies. They follow their calendar and academics dates and nothing can change a date. I think this case will serve as deterrent for others to learn from. However, there is little light under the tunnels, if she decides to follow these principles. Yes, having late few weeks to course starting date the university is afraid of losing their sponsor lienced, hence they're playing safe. I suggest she should just meet her programs leader and registers all her courses and assure the person in charge that she's ready to take up additional responsibilities in order to meet up with backlogs course work and assignments. She can also negotiate for exams in replacement of any course works she has missed. |

Hello Guy.
I would be glad if you guys can advice me on this issue. I have a friend that just came to the UK from Nigeria. She arrived a bit late for school like 5 weeks behind her course. She did a bit of online classes but not very interactively.
Shes in the UK now but the school wants to cancel his visa and wants her to defer her admission and also go back to Nigeria.
The person has his BRP card and student ID already.
What can she do?
She has spent a lot of money to come here and already paid for accommodations and everything |

kreatorsink: Well from what you posted it stated fixed deposits are allowed. And the refusal letter he showed that they tried reaching the bank and they did not respond on time. Someone told me he had the same issue with that FCMB. He applied 24th Nov 2019 for priority service and he was told often that decision has not been made. After a suggestion here by someone that the we should reach out to the bank. I told him and the bank just responded Jan 25/26 to the embassy email. He got his passport back 2 days after and he came to UK yesterday. So please everyone applying check on your bank often and avoid some rubbish bank. I used FCMB and I didn’t have this problem |

omopapa: Zoopla, Rightmove, Facebook market place, gumtree are good places to search for student accommodation.. some houses around Perry Barr and Aston area (close to BCU) have notices on their windows as well. You can easily get a shared one room house for £200-£250 monthly Thanks for the reply. I think my challenge is more of where to land at immediately I arrive at Birmingham since I doubt it would be a good idea to pay for the houses I find on these sites before checking them out |
