WASC keeps a copy of every Certificate they issue. Both of them (Sambo & Buhari) should approach the Examination body.

Meanwhile, in other news, some Generals Claimed GMB failed all his exams while in Military School and one may want to know the number of passes on his certificate which will open further debates.
Did he pass Maths, English and Maybe Govt or something? Or he got Military school by 'Man know Man' which is the bane of our Military today.

Gbam!!! They go from chasing cows to becoming Generals, Ministers and President. Nonsense

Then let Buhari publish his certificates and that settles it. Its as simple as that. When the Americans asked for Obama birth certificate he published it on the world wide web..and that nailed it! Let Buhari do the needful!

Jonathan is over pushing his luck. I thought they said Buhari is a serial loser and would certainly lose this time as well. What's with all the clandestine manoeuvrings to frustrate him?? Certainly even Jonathan himself could see his end is nigh. If he thinks he's gonna stand alone in this contest like he did in the PDP "coronation" he's got another thing coming.

I know enormous pressure would be mounted on the Military not to release the said certs given that they come under the command of the president, but one thing they should know is the chaos that would ensue upon tinkering with disqualification of Buhari would make the subsidy protests look like a new yam festival!!

Jonathan should put a leash on his desperation. Nigeria is bigger than his ambition!

APC should stop obfuscating and show us the certificates. It's very simple. Either that or Buhari to jail for lying under oath.

Can we all now see the level of hypocrisy in Lai Mohammed and APC?
If GEJ had been at the receiving end in this certificate saga, local and international media would have been awashed with series of insultive and provocative statements. Lai Mohammed is now been sober and evasive. Buhari must produce his academic qualifications. Period.

The Military board is located in Abuja yet Buhari prefers to go to Abuja high court to swear to an affidavit instead of going to the board to collect his credentials. Does Buhari thinks Nigerians are dunce like him?

Note that Buhari was head of that military board in those days. Therefore, with a phone call to military board, Buhari can get the certificates.
So, why is buhari afraid of presenting his certificates?

I am 100% in agreement with you. There is something Buhari is not telling us.There is something Buhari is hiding.
There is something fishy about Buhari's credentials.why bypass the military board where his certificates are purportedly kept to the high court to swear to an affidavit?
He couldn't go to the military board but could go to the high court and both offices are in proximity to each other.

Guy some of u talk without substance. Why is it so difficult for our dear General to give INEC his certs? Why do Nigerians like shouting wolf where there's none? Obama put his detractors to shame by producing his birth certificate. That singular act, laid the case to rest.

If some Nigerians are demanding to see Buhari 's certs, let him produce them sharp sharp. He's not above the rules. We are also aware that the late general saninegera abacha couldn't pass his officers' exams. Buhari should come down from his high horse and produce whatever he has and move on with the election.

His supporters are simply being mischievous. They Claim they want change but they wanna stick with the status quo. If GMB is truly honest and disciplined, and is sincere about change and transparency, he should produce whatever INEC requires. Anybody can swear an affidavit. It's not good enough. It's only in Nigeria that u can use affidavit while seeking for the highest job in the land but u need a university degree to get an ordinary entry level position in a bank.

If we must have change, it has got to be a genuine change. No monkey games by anybody, be it APC or PDP.

What are we talking about here did we all not go to school and currently working with are our certificates? Are the originals with our employers? what they have is the photocopies not the originals, GMB should provide the originals of the certificates, if these APC guys are the change you guys say we are looking for then we have got it wrong.

I am disappointed in Buhari actions its a mistake on your part to direct INEC to Army secretary to verify your results, its a settled law provide your original results first before verification exercise. And mind you Nigerian a graduate of NDA and police academy is equivalent to B.sc/B.ed/B.A etc
Case study and Buhari scenario

Qualifications
Throughout your Army career, the Army will pay for you to
gain civilian qualifications as a result of Army training. From
the Apprenticeship you may undertake as part of your initial
training, help with your Literacy and Numeracy Skills if
required, through to masters and PhDs, the Army will invest
in you. These civilian qualifications will enhance your Army
career and enable you to build a portfolio of civilian
qualifications that are valued by civilian employers.

During your career, you will undertake trade training for
your job role. The Army has links with many civilian
awarding organisations, who offer civilian qualifications for
some of that training.
As you progress through the ranks, you’ll undertake
Command, Leadership and Management (CLM) training. As
well as enhancing your career, this CLM training results in
civilian Qualifications which the Army will buy for you. These
qualifications range from Level 4 (foundation degree level)
to Level 7 (masters degree level).
Many Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (Sergeants to
Warrant Officers) take advantage of this opportunity, and
use it as their entry onto degree courses. Some universities
offer special conditions for Army personnel by taking into
account CLM courses, helping Army students to achieve their
degrees in a shorter timeframe.
All of this helps you to enhance your Army career and
prepare you for a new career outside the Armed Forces by
enabling you to build a robust portfolio of civilian
qualifications that are valued by civilian employers -
whether you serve for 4 years or 22 years.
Reserve Soldiers
When you join the Reserves, you bring to the Army the
experience you have gained in your civilian job – and the
Army can give you experience and qualifications that will
help you in your civilian job.
There are qualifications you can work towards during your
initial training which show your employer the value you
bring to your work through your army training.
As you progress through the ranks, you will undertake many
of the same courses as Regular soldiers, and can gain the
same civilian qualifications. Command Leadership and
Management (CLM) training will soon be opened up to
Reserve soldiers, offering you the same opportunities as
your Regular counterparts. In the meantime, the Army will
pay for Reserves to undertake the same civilian
qualifications resulting from CLM, but Reserves will need to
undertake all of the assignments.
Officers
Following your training at the Royal Military Academy
Sandhurst (RMAS), you are eligible for a Level 5 Award in
Leadership and Management, which the Army will buy for
you. If you wish to study for a degree, the RMAS CC currently
attracts 120 CATS points from the Open University, which
reduces the amount of modules you need to undertake to
achieve a degree.
The training you take in the Army as you progress from
Captain to a Major attracts further civilian qualifications in
Leadership and Management. Many officers use this to help
them achieve further academic qualifications.
There are further opportunities to undertake masters
degrees and PhDs, which are fully funded by the Army.
Further Opportunities
In addition to your Army accreditation, you may choose to
enhance your qualifications portfolio by undertaking higher
education courses. There are many higher education
organisations across the UK who will recognise Army service
and accreditation. The Army has already established good
relations with higher education organisations who have
developed opportunities for Regular and Reserve personnel
and created an Army specific webpage detailing their
opportunities for Army personnel.
Educational organisations that have, or would like to,
develop opportunities for Army personnel remember GMB attend both uk and us to obtained his professional qualifications as of now Buhari academic qualification was equivalent to Master in management and strategic study

With all due respect sir...am not a politician but your statement does not have logical reasoning. why blame the military? the onus is on GMB to produce his certificate and not the military. the certificate has nothing to do with the military at all. they are not asking him to produce his military certificate bit academic (secondary school certificate). why bring the military into it?
if you want to blame anyone it is GMB. He should stop playing with sensibility of Nigerians. Why is GMB afraid to show us his school or certificate. obviously, GMB is hidng something. why will anyone keep his original cert with his employers? it is so absurd ...moreso he has left the army about 30 years ago.
we know you are guys are playing dirty politics, but a few of us have some intelligence to know a goof and pure thrash.

That old illiterate despot wont rule my beloved Nigeria. Goodluck is not the best but he is trying. I don't support mediocrity and would have pledged my vote had it been fashola was fronted by APC. But i cant cast my vote for a man as ancient as buhari without education. He was booted out some months before i was given birth to in 1985 and yet since then he hasnt tried to improve himself academically in any way. With my plethora of acquired academic qualifications,i stand in a better stead to rule this nation.

Imagine the illiterate having illusions about stabilizing world oil price and defending the economy with our armed forces.
Since you decided to present the ancient of days,i have no other choice than to stick to and campaign for my mediocre president J Boy

So we just want to see the FSLC and his SSCE certs.

Buhari joined the Nigerian Army in 1962, when he attended the Nigerian Military Training College (in 1964 it was renamed the Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA)) in Kaduna. From 1962-1963, he underwent Officer Cadets training at Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England, United Kingdom (Mons OCS was officially closed down in 1972).

In January 1963, Buhari was commissioned as second lieutenant, and appointed Platoon Commander of the Second Infantry Battalion in Abeokuta, Nigeria. From November 1963- January 1964, Buhari attended the Platoon Commanders’ Course at the Nigerian Military College, Kaduna. In 1964, he facilitated his military training by attending the Mechanical Transport Officer’s Course at the Army Mechanical Transport School in Borden, United Kingdom.

From 1965-1967, Buhari served as Commander of the Second Infantry Battalion. He was appointed Brigade Major, Second Sector, First Infantry Division, April 1967 to July 1967.

Buhari was made Brigade Major of the Third Infantry Brigade, July 1967 to October 1968 and Brigade Major/Commandant, Thirty-first Infantry Brigade, 1970-1971.

Buhari served as the Assistant Adjutant-General, First Infantry Division Headquarters, 1971-1972. He also attended the Defense Services’ Staff College, Wellington, India, in 1973.

From 1974-1975 Buhari was appointed Acting Director, Transport and Supply, Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport Headquarters.

He was also made Military Secretary, Army Headquarters,1978-1979, and was a member of the Supreme Military Council, 1978-1979.

From 1979 -1980, at the rank of colonel, Buhari attended the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States of America and gained a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies.

Other roles include:

General Officer Commanding, 4th Infantry Division, Aug. 1980 – Jan. 1981
General Officer Commanding, 2nd Mechanized Infantry Division, Jan. 1981 – October 1981
General Officer Commanding, 3rd Armed Division Nigerian Army, October 1981 – December 1983.

Does the law says one must acquire a FSLC or a minimum of FSLC? Am not to judge if he has a FSLC or not but by the law his subsequent academic qualifications makes that one irrelevant. So why the fuss or is this fuss only on social media?

Messers Jega might have forgottrn to do so last time too cause he was new on da job and might not have gone through the electoral act word for word. 2011 - 2014 has afforded him the time to do so and hence due process now.
