that does not mean you shouldn't collect your OND even if you want to further when you already in service you will then use your ond to apply for the next level ,and I suggest you collect your trade test certificate ,it is an advantage

If you have applied already, no need to fear, upgrade is possible but not with that cert.

Just that you will serve in a lower rank for a few years till you acquire a higher certification while in service.

So what can u say about me collecting trade test certificate cos I'm a tailor.
I heard that if I go in as a tailor even with my ssce I'll be given console 04 instead of 03.
My worry is If I Go In As A SUPPORT STAFF after some time can I acquire bsc and be upgraded?

The answer he gave you is the best you can get. The truth is, no one knows how it's gonna turn out. You could be in your first year on the job and then an amnesty is declared for those with additional qualifications. Mind you, once you start work, you would be guided by the condition of service of whatever agency you get attached to. If you do not have permission to study, then you are in for a long thing.
I think you should take baby steps first. I believe all you have for now is the O'level, so, you can start whatever program you are interested in and once you secure a job, you tell them upon documentation that you are already running a part time program. This way, you are covered till the end of the program; and they would not hesitate to upgrade you when the time comes. Just go for a BSc

My story is actually a long story I did OND but I'm in debt in school which is very huge cos of the kinda school I went to...infact my debt would get me to 300 level in uni lolzzz....tho that's by the way.

since it's part time which would be Saturdays and Sundays (I guess), you will be allowed to further your studies. You can only do conversion in MDAs after completion of your studies and when you have reached level 7( which is the highest level of O' level staff), you can go further to level 8 and to the highest level in MDAs depending on your qualifications


ND/HND: Level 14 maximum
BSc: Level 17 maximum
