I dont feel the interview would be too stressful. I think passing the test is the main thing. Except one performs very bad in the interview, I feel there is on picking. |
Just pray they dont keep you guys waiting endlessly. I did not write the test though. |
You guys should cool down. Federal jobs take time because of bureaucracy. I am sure no one has been called, so chill out. DPR guys who had their interview in the middle of last year have not been called. The best thing is to find something else to occupy yourselves with. They would call you when you least expect. |
Search for it using google.com. Alternatively, go to Oshodi and ask any bike man to take you there. You cant miss your way. |
I have never written their test before. However, I have written some aptitude tests. The questions will never require rocket science solutions. The are simple questions that a sound ss3 student should be able to answer. But what is being tested is how accurate you can be given limited time. The time would be short and you would have lots of simple questions to answer. If you have written a dragnet test, you would know what I mean. Finally, self confidence would do the magic. Believe in yourself! |
The woman is also dead. She had three grown up guys for my father's elder brother. Can you imagine that the child from the first marriage, a lady, slapped the first child last month, in my father's elder brother's house. The family had to evict her from the house, like a big brother africa thing. This is the first time my father is agreeing to being wrong! |
My father's elder brother married a divorcee with a child. He told my father that the lady already had a child but they should keep it away from the family because the family would never be in support of the wedding. The family got to know of the child on the day of the traditional wedding. My grandfather almost cancelled the event but for pleas from people. The child caused a lot of problems in the marriage. The problems have the man a stroke and the man died two years ago. Now, my father keeps regretting because he really loves his dead elder brother. The best thing is for you to sever all contacts with her via phone call or facebook and the likes. |
I feel you should start your life with a young lady. With your six digit job, getting a young lady who has not been tied to another man is easy. I love you and I dont want you to be a victim. Leave that girl and move on. |
People on this thread are those who have written tests to work with banks. I feel you should get the job first before discussing about the pay. |
@poster, I put it to you that you dont love that lady! What you are feeling for her is pity, not love. I am also sensing that you feel you can never get a good single lady. You are feeling that you would never get someone to marry if she slips away. But your mind has been made up going by your posts. Therefore, marry her and 'enjoy'. |
They deducted sixty naira from my balance and now I have only twenty naira left. I am going to buy a padlock or jamkey to lock my phone this night so that they wont deduct the remaining twenty naira. A padlock shouldn't cost more than one hundred naira! |
I have no info. Most people here are people who applied for the graduate trainee position, but you can get info on this forum from other people. I feel you should not be too worried because you have a job. Just focus on your current job and be happy. |
I am interested in your case. Did they give you an offer of appointment letter before the training? Did you pay for the training? |

Tell your friend to stay where he is. If total wants to interview him, they would give him the details of time and venue. Tell him to keep calm. |
Dont apply if you dont have someone who would connect you. It will never be on merit. |
I would have entered for this beautiful programme but item 9 says food is not provided. Provide food and I would be the first person on the plane. |
No one has been contacted. The recruitment of banks take time. Try and search any past bank recruitment thread on nairaland and you will see how long the thread ran. Just stay cool. Qui sera sera. |
The advert would have a negative effect on teenagers who would not be able to reason that the advert is a piece put together by a dumb guy. He said you are late in earning that million at 24. He did not state the currency of the million. If if meant a million naira, he is dumb for thinking Forbes Magazine would consider you a millionaire if you have a million naira. If he meant one million dollars, he is dumb for asking Nigerian youths to make a million dollars before 24. How many Americans make a million dollars in their lifetime? |
damilarelr:I have not heard anything. If they have contacted people, someone would have hinted us on this forum. Banks' recruitment usually take time. |
@Poster Simply pack out of the house! |
chy4luv:Before going for the interview, reflect thoroughly on your life and see if you have made a wrong decision. Find the best way to present it to the interviewers. If you cant find any wrong decision you have made, just tell them no. Tell them you think things over deeply before taking decisions. It is not compulsory that you must have taken a wrong decision in your life. I hope this helps. |
I have not heard anything about interview. I feel its just a speculation. I checked a jobsearch site similar to nairaland and there is nothing like that. But I pray they call for interview soon. Lets keep our fingers crossed. |
@ kunle21 I am not using bb. I applied for kpmg. oladijib@yahoo.com is my email address. Can we chat on yahoo messenger? I am logging on now. |
Kunle21 Union bank is the only job I am looking up to now. I have also applied for gtbank. I applied for first bank but I could not write the test. Too bad! kunle21: |
@Kunle21 I just feel recruitment processes take time. |
I feel we would hear from Union Bank before the end of this month. |
@ fansystones. You never can tell. The hope you have is that banks usually do mass recruitment. The performance seems generally low, so you may not write yourself off yet. The last time union bank recruited, they employed about 960 graduates! |
This is the third thread on in-laws I am coming across today. Therefore, today is in-laws day. |
Mrs Poster, if you are truly religious as you claimed, fast and pray for seven days. God would reveal to you that your mother-in-law used your husband's manhood for money. Please free yourself from bondage and make yourself available to thousands of responsible and hard-below-the-belt men desperately looking for ladies to marry. 'Better still' you may keep running after the baby-man and live a life full of agony. |
@ Koolvin12 Since you are in Lagos, you may go to their Lagos office @ Lagos Coordinating Office: Suit 121, 1st floor, Oshoppey Plaza, 17/19 Allen Avenue Ikeja, Lagos. Tel: 07043156193, 07043156194. I got this address online. If you go there, you will learn a lot about them. Personally, I dont feel anybody who wants to recruit would ask applicants to pay money for any reason whatsoever. You may post feedback here after visiting their office. The golden rule: Dont pay a dime for the sake of recruitment. |
Koolvin12 How much were you asked to pay? |
