Very good! At least the plants would be better managed in private hands. The government should ensure that these investors deliver proper services to Nigerians |
madridsta007: I think it would be a brilliant idea if the Nigerian government would implement the following:Lol all these things? Don't you know some of these things you listed violates international law? You can't arrest G4S operatives who arrive with deported Nigerians because technically, they aren't on Nigerian soil. The best, easiest and effective way to retaliate are 1 - Suspend our membership of the commonwealth, I don't really see the purpose that thing serves apart from a few peanuts we get in the name of aid. ( the commonwealth is extremely important to the UK government, to them, it's their last big asset in the world) 2 - Impose neck breaking taxes on UK companies operating in Nigeria, make new laws that prohibits oil companies from bringing in more that 2 British expatriates per year. The UK isn't really an important player anymore in global affairs, Nigeria can certainly and conveniently do without Britain. Britain is washed up and they know it, that's why they fight to hold on to their last colonial territories like Falklands, Gibraltar ( which they'd lose someday ) No natural resources, ( the only country Scotland with a but of oil is threatening to pull out ) nothing new to offer the world. |
ogugua88: You and others spent pages upon pages hurling insults and derailing a thread. You and those who were involved can recite the rules in your sleep and are veterans in terms of Nairaland membership and numbers of bans. You're lucky I saw the thread before Sexkillz in all honesty. No! I would not go to the Complaints thread, I want to stay here. @ the highlighted, so if sexkillz saw me first, he would have banned me for longer? So you mean to say there isn't set guidelines as to what length of ban is appropriate for different offences, and you guys give out bans willy nilly? I've heard of sexkillz banning people till 2020, you think that's right? @ the topic - Yes I know idowuogbo has a crush on Mr Cork ( see I didn't derail ) |
ShymX: What's there to talk about apart from BH daring Obama and mentioning his name in their rant?Actually, they do! I disagree with you on this one bruv. America is concerned about any relationship between any nation (no matter how small) that goes on behind their backs. In 2009 when the late Yaradua began his romance with Ahmadinejad of Iran, I remember the US writing him a strongly-worded letter, describing how Nigeria's dealings with a pariah state such as Iran could damage US-Nigeria relations. Believe me, Nigeria's growing ties with china, sends cold shivers down Uncle Sam's spine, there is a fight/race for global domination and influence going on between America (as the pre-dominant world power) and China ( the rapidly emerging world power) and any allies china is able to garner is sure not to go down well in Washington, you can see that currently in the struggle for Asia-pacific. Africa being of strategic importance to both nations, and Nigeria being its most influential or 2nd most influential member, trust me, it's a big deal. |
collynzo2: Fûck off you twät! How is the perception of African leaders in the west more important than the other things you mentioned? Idi Amin was nothing more than a corrupt dictator to them anyway, just like Abacha. You are full of shît this guy.And you eat my sh*t for breakfast!! As I said before always try to relate comments to topic ( that's if you aren't too inane to do that) Uganda you mentioned isn't yet a paradise, infact they've been plagued by conflicts, so I don't your point. Stay on topic!! |
No better feeling than buying your mum a present, and seeing her face light up with joy, worth every penny!!! |
collynzo2: Go and tell Ugandans that the days of Idi Amin were glory days. FoolSewer rat!! In this context, those were the glory days for Uganda. This is not a discussion of governance, poverty or human rights, it's a discussion of how African leaders are perceived in the west, and public image. Dog read a topic first and them try to relate comments to the topic. |
ogugua88: Henceforth.I can't believe you banned me for 2 weeks which expires today. When I saw the length of the ban, I checked to see who mete out such evil/wickedness at me, and it was you. Normally if it was sexkillz, id come running to you, but it was you, so nobody to run to, if I attempt sexkillz, he might even increase the ban. I thought you were the benign one, you now bare fangs. 2 weeks? That was too much |

SniperInADiaper: I wont fight over a man... Any man worth it, wont give cause for fightingThen you will grow old single and lonely, by then you would make a will bequeathing all you got to animals and charities ![]() |
See how strong African leaders are greeted, I'm sorry gone are the days when Africa had strong men, real pan-africanists, now what we have are puppets and lap dogs like GEJ See Ghadaffi, mobutu, and white men bowing to idi Amin.

This is what happens when you put your trust in fetish nonsense.
|
deeptesting: It works but I cannot really partake of it right now... i also did stuffs like blow drop, breeze no fit pull stubborn grass from ground, stab no enter, bottle breaking for head, and their is this weird one that was done with little pins, broken blades and bottles that if I punch you they will automatically enter your body, there is no medical cure until I give you the antidote, signs for good and bad events, if u see lion face u must fear ( ur opponent cannot look at your face)and so many more... This things worked perfectly back in the days,if you had your secondary education in port harcourt in late 80's to 90's then you should know what I am saying.Look!! All these things you mentioned are nothing but nonsense and hokum, just like the placebo effect, they look like they work, but in actuality they don't. It's all on your head. When a proper opposition encounter you with those things, you'd be made mince meat of. Haven't you stopped to ask yourself, if all those things work, why cant Nigeria use them to excel in sports competitions like boxing? Ask Samuel Peters the treatment he received from klitchko when he thought he could step into the ring with black magic and no training. |
Pataki: Jonathan the kindergarten school headboy.Look at this pic, like a mother talking to her son. When would GEJ learn to appear presidential? That woman was a Secretary of State while you are a president, there should be a clear distinction. |
Wow! Being the POTUS is one hell of a job, you get so powerful that when you cough, other heads of states come running. This same Obama who publicly shunned GEJ, summons him to the White House like a school teacher summons his students. GEJ if you had any balls, this is the time to show it, the time to cement your position on the world stage as a no-nonsense presido, give flippant reasons why you can't go |
FOLYKAZE: Stop bringing your white supremacy mentality here. You talk like a troglodyte, what has white supremacy got to do with what I said? If an African doctor proclaimed to cure HIV, where are his results? Good result speaks for itself, if your product/skill is Ingenious, nobody can hold you down, as a matter if fact you'd be in high demand regardless of whether you are black or green but unfortunately typical cavemen like you think white me are too busy trying to stop you. If Africa has potent herbal medicines, why is the morality rate in Africa higher than everywhere else? China is renowned for their herbal medicine which actually works and has gained world wide acclaim, why didnt the white man stop them. I repeat, there is nothing like spiritual bullet proof, because if there was, African soldiers would be invincible on the battlefield, which is currently not the case. If you doubt, I challenge you to wear your spiritual bullet proof and stand while I pull out my 12-gauge shot gun and blast you with it, if you don't die, il pack my things and go live in the forest. |
First @OP, a bullet doesn't travel at 100mph, that's too small, a bullet travel way faster than that, up to 700mph and above. Secondly, if there was anything like spiritual bullet proof, African soldiers would be the most powerful and countries like america would cough up billions of dollars just to get it. |
jackbauersballs: You were hypnotised my friend...That's why you cannot describe it. lolHahaha I don't know if you've heard of this guy called Derren Brown, he is a very skilled hypnotist, Ive seen a TV show of his, where he makes a group of guys believe the world had come to an end. |
I went along with a friend to one church about 3 months ago, when it was time for prayers, the pastor began going round, holding people's heads and blowing air from his mouth unto their heads while shouting prayers at them, some fell, some didnt. When he got close to me, he saw the manner in which I was gazing at him, as if to tell him " man I see your tricks, don't try that with me " when it was my turn, I said let me see the magic that would make me fall, the pastor held my head and prayed normally, no attempt to push me down, although he blew wind unto my head. |
Sad day for our black women, especially Nigerian women. You going to have to shell out good money to buy your weave since you don't appreciate your God given hair |
Only a fool would believe a Nigerian such as her would attempt suicide. It's extremely rare for Nigerians, and especially Igbos to contemplate suicide, talk much of a person of her recognition (at least in Nigeria) She just wanted to jump on the " I attempted suicide " bandwagon. |
exxell: Before, I was a catholic. Now, I am a core catholic. Soon, I will become a staunch Catholic.... Was born a Catholic, Will Marry A Catholic, Will Remain A Catholic And Will Die A Catholic! Glory To Jesus, Honour To Mary.Yes!!!! Very Good, and then when you die a staunch catholic, you would be sent to hell where the bowing down you do to Mary would come in handy, as those skills would be extrapolated and used by you in bowing down to lucifer and his agents. |
Richieboyn: Mumu. itz assumption not ascensionDog!! They are virtually the same, both involves being levitated into heaven, difference being one is done by one's own power and the other by God. In this context, nothing of the sort happened, either assumption or ascension. |
Look at these Catholics practicing idolatry, for God's sake, what happened to the name of Jesus Christ, what's all this Mary talk? And where the hell did the Catholics hear that Mary ascended into heaven? Mary died like a mere mortal and was buried, there are ongoing searches for burial site in Israel. Catholics stop this heresy !!!!!' |
Idowuogbo: Semblance bawo?So Idowuogbo you are still in the business of responding to insults, even after Ogugua's ban, BTW, were you banned? |
IYA NGBALI: but he was eventually killed{you seem to hate America?}Yeah!! But after how many years and how much effort? if it takes that much time and effort to capture terrorists, then I'm sure the terrorists would see it as a victory Btw, how do I seem to hate America? |
Osama was 20 times the treat he is, with 100 times more resources, he was tracked and neutralized,
After how many years and how many billion dollars? This shekau would be caught sooner or later, but please you guys should stop using bin laden as a paradigm, his capture and killing isn't exactly being heralded as a success. It took America sweat, tears and blood to kill bin laden |
Where is musiwa, he is the king of satellite photos |
True talk!!! But if only this man really knew about Nigeria, he'd know that Nigeria isn't your typical conventional country, in the sense that Nigeria doesn't function like a country, it's functions more like a crime family. The Nigerian youth are as powerless as an ant when it comes to deciding their future, a future of untold hardship has already been cemented by years of bad governance. The truth of the matter is, only a tiny minority would make it through enterprise, business and in Innovation so at the end of the day, much more people would remain poor than become rich. |
