Some people will argue that Peugeot is not good for ehailing business but I always ask them why? All they will say is Toyota is the best with no concrete evidence or fact to prove otherwise. One guy here on nairaland has been using his own for bolt since 2019. The Peugeot 307 has greater fuel efficiency than corrola which translates to more money In your account. Don't just play with routine maintenance and don't manage any spoilt part. This is my lion. I always enjoy the smooth ride.

Yes it should be a bit louder. I think the only consequence is the engine will run below specified speed which means engine is not running at full capacity.

But it will not affect the durability of the gen or the electric appliances pluged if the frequency is below 50?

Very nice! Will be better if you can make the frequency just over 50 so you won't need to be checking always. 50.7 to 51 is not bad.

I don't understand what you mean, but you can also try adjusting it while the gen is off and chack the output when you put it on, if it's more convenient for you!

Have opened and adjusted it. Frequency and voltage now 50 and 230 respectively.

Does the avr shock will it is working?

And the complaints then were

1)Parts not readily available in Nigeria

2) Transmission problem

3)Mechanics not easily able to fix it when it has problems


But since 2015 is 7 years ago, I feel most of these things might have changed now


So, I went ahead to ask 2 people presently using it, they said they've been enjoying it and that I should just make sure I stick with the same engine oil I use from it from the beginning


But I need more people's comment/review about it


Lastly, if you are advicing me not to go for it.

Thanks bro, I wasn't too comfortable with his reply, so I searched further on YouTube and discovered that I can actually adjust the voltage supply from the AVR. There is a potentiometer at the back of the AVR which when adjusted anti-clockwise reduces the voltage supply. I did that and the voltage has normalised.

Can it be adjusted when the gen is off? To avoid electric shock.
Cause the ones I saw on YouTube was adjusted will it was on

You have to open the coil side of the generator to locate the AVR, you can check YouTube on how to adjust it. Sylva1 did it himself, you can check the previous page for his post.

You should increase the speed to 50 but it will not improve the voltage because of the AVR. You should increase the voltage from your AVR after increasing the frequency.

My gen is tec major , how can the voltage be increased from the avr? Cause the technician i spoke with talked of changing it totally

You'll have to increase the running speed until the frequency gets to 50.

Is there any connection between the running speed and the voltage? Because the frequency is 45 while voltage is 186. Will increasing the speed improve the voltage?

The frequency is ok, for the noise there's nothing you can do about it. I am abit surprised because the bigger one is not noisy. Hope you are not comparing the noise with that of many boutique owners. Many of them have reduced the running speed to very minimal levels.

What do i if the frequency is below 50

Your own na low voltage. You'll have issues if you want to use it to power some appliances like pumps. Have you checked the AVR?

Bros, read his complaint again.

He said his gen goes up to 246v & his surge protector trips off as a result. He wants to bring it back down to normal 220v where it doesn't trip off.

In my own case, the voltage supply from my Tec 3500Es gen goes below 220+ Volts to as low as 185 volts. Though it still carry my fridge , should i be worried?

clean Air Filter.

if you use 4hours daily then you can change oil every month and clean your spark plug.
Read my previous post or few pages back where i mentioned the fuel consumption.

Please how do you clean the air filter?

Xc90.. Volvo is known for safety.. Parts are super cheap compared to ford edge, Honda pilot..... and price wise it's worth it ... Ground clearance is top notch.. With the bad roads the Xc90 is well and above rugged enough to handle it.......

This machine does not take much power, I have it.

Washing Section = 360 Watts
Spinning / Wind Jet Dry Section = 260 Watts

I had to write emails to official LG email addresses both in SA, Dubai and Ng requesting for the wattage, even fuoani could not tell me the wattage and that made me not to buy it from them despite it was one thousand naira lesser than what I bought it.

Note: I used the smallest elepaq constant 1kva to power this machine comfortably.

@Gptech, I remembered asking you if Elepaq Sv6800 can power this machine but it was the seller that gave me a definite answer that I better pass my neighbor can power it; and we tested the machine before I bought it.

So bro your tec3.75kva will power this washing machine comfortably.

I had to take my time to write this to help others who intend to get this machine but are skeptical if they Gen Kva can power it.

For me I will go for Kemage 4.5kv which is better bargain if you are sure of the originality. For the SPare parts question, almost all the brands in the market uses sumec parts as alternative

Please house which generator should I go for? Elepaq constant 4.5kv keystart or Kemage 4.5kv key start with remote. Both are same price and I’m used to Elepaq constant but thinking of trying a new product

Note: The generator won’t be working long hours because I get at least 16 hours light per day. The generator is just for back up incase I have visitors or emergency

Yes, I do. Though my dealer usually buys these 25L oil to retail. I noticed this when I bought from another source who I was not very sure of how they get theirs. I will be more careful of the oil now. Thanks.

Most of those fake oil turn to wax like substance and hinders the working of the gen. It Will be acting as if it is overheating. Will work well when cool.
If wax like bye product have accumulated much, then there may be need to open n clean around the piston as mere change to better oil may not get the desired result

Good day guys, please what will make a small tiger generator (I pass my neighbor) go off after 2 or 3 hours of use. Put it on again it will start normal only to go off after a few minutes. The next day it will last for another 2-3 hours before it goes off again. There is enough oil in the gen. Thanks.

I suspect poor oil quality. Do you buy those road side oil to mix with your fuel?

so far so good it has really done well. Fuel consumption is one of the best . Can take me 10 to 12 hours with my AC off. Please buy it if you got the $$$,I highly recommend it.
