First of all, did you try going thru the device manual? I do know most peeps don't read manuals.

You can go back to settings and look for voice and input settings, am sure voice control can be deactivated using the options under that menu (I use a Samsung device)

Confirm the name of the manufacturer i.e. Huawei, ZTE then Google it. I unlocked my MTN branded modem by following online leads, mifi's are not so different

carmelion: For those planning to go to Benin,don't bother anymore.I went to great Uniben yesterday to submit mine but I saw an announcement pasted on the notice board of the PG school.

It reads

"Please Note that only admitted students would be required to submit a copy of their application form,referree form.

Transcript should be sent to the Secretary School of Post Graduate Studies P.M.B 1184,Ugbowo benin City,Edo State."



So it means that all you need to do now is to submitt online and then forward your transcript through your University.
When they give you admission,you will be contacted via your mail.

I sent an email to the Uniben.Kofa administrator due to this same issue. He replied immediately saying my ATM card is not open for online payment & to check with my bank which I did.

I advise you go to your bank too and apply for your card to be open.

All android devices, by that I mean 'ALL' run tethering both via usb & Wi-Fi out of the box and don't need silly third party apps like joikspot to do same on a Symbian phone.
(use a dictionary of you dunno the meaning of out-of-the-box)
I bet when I was 'pim'ping' my sendo X, Nokia 5800, N70, N-GAGE, N96 etc you were still fiddling with monochrome touch light phones.

Imagine some peeps complaining about battery drain in a low-end android device don't know they should adjust screen brightness, disable auto sync until when needed. (no offence o).
Those having battery drain & heat problems should consider checking possible solutions online as well as the sort of apps they install.

The so called 'latest Belle' devices are almost a year old. Where is the wisdom in comparing a product still in production (android) and that which has been discontinued(Symbian)? If Symbian is so good then why did Nokia discontinue it? Most of you guys forget that majority of android users were once die-hard Symbian users.

Since you know how to use Google, why not check out the opinion of peeps in developed economies about Symbian
