My boss thank you so much. Apart from ymodulus thread that i just come cross this is the second thread ever.
Im so much happy.

I hope you will later talk more on what student like me can import.

More blessing sir

Yeah, ymodulus is a real deal. I got inspired by his doggedness and creative business mind to start what I am currently working on. One thing is obvious about his style... he is always ahead of the curve, giving him an edge and almost less competition. I do hope to meet him someday.

I'm surprised that in all these places you mentioned for buying ads, you didn't mention Nairaland.

Do you also run ads on Nairaland, and any particular reasons if not?

Just curious.

lol Nairaland? Joke! Meet savvy advertisers and you will hear them tell you not to. Ask yourself why is it that Nairaland ads spaces are not fully booked? Why do you have too many empty banner begging for usage?

2sexycom God will bless you for this piece, however, it's with heavy heart I'm writing this. Some self acclaimed guru collected 50k from me for this importation guide, after everything, I decided to give it a try by importing a product (crank chop) my boss does not reveal to us that the heavier the product, the higher the fee. So I decided to pay Annie from China if you know her, after payment for everything including her processing fee, that's when I was cleared that I will be needing over #80k to receive my products after getting to Nigeria.
As I am talking now, I lost interest because of the shipment fee. This happened around July and since then, I have not been able to gather something let's just say #50k to start again. Importation is really profitable if you get correct product.

Thanks for this piece brother, non of your family member will ever know poverty in life, God will uphold you and 2018 will be a great year for you.

With the products I just spotted now, believe me, if I have #50k right now, I will make #200k before January 1!

Is this the product that you imported?

https://www.crankchop.com/?mid=8810047

From where did you buy yours from? From Aliexpress or 1688.com? How many pieces did you buy? From I see there, that product is quite lightweight and shouldn't cost you much for shipping. There is something fishy about the handlers of your shipment and so I will wait for your response.

BTW, that product is something I wouldn't even dare to import. Like I always say, go into something that is not common but in demand.

So desparate to be selling domain names for $35? wow.

N.B; won't advice anyone to buy any of those two domains if you're targeting to resell.

Go to Kano and see Church Street, Ibo Rd, Yoruba Rd, Niger Rd, Port Harcourt Rd.

Go to Ibadan, go to Abuja, go to Kaduna.

Why is Ibos always making noise and demanding exemptions from rules that others follow without complaint or noise?

And I must tell you that you lack that wisdom to know this going by the current of dissatisfaction going on in the country on which there has never been a more divided Nigeria than we currently have... Sir on the price. it is a ridiculous price just 1.5yuan so amazing. but with minimum order of 2-5000.
im having some questions to ask here but i will allow you to complete this program first.

Thank you sir

if you follow up what I said before, you will notice that I said a product on 1688 can have over 5 different price ranges. What this means is that, if one sells his for 10 naira, search around and you see another selling his for 8 naira, search again and u will see another selling his for 6 naira. All are different prices but same product. The reason for the price variation is that you are dealing with resllers who are competing against one another to sell a product.

listen to the hypocrisy in what you are saying....so its ok for you to NOT open up to YOUR woman that you supposedly love, so that you could please society?!?!?!?!?!?! no wonder women dont open up to men like you.... love is a two way street, and when women meet men like you they can NEVER be comfortable because you will always remain a STRANGER.

so keep trying to satisfy society...

Boss check this. but this picture is from aliexpress but i already get similar from 1688

Hoe much? Yeah, the watch he sold were something like this. If you have enough money, you can buy as much as 10 and gift to at least 2 students of any school you approach. You can give to their best students overall. But make sure you present it in such a way that they see themselves making money as well. Another angle to sell them is that you tell the school that many kids don't know how to read the time. So to help them, they need wrist watch so that they can learn faster. Just note this point down and the ones before this.

Good morning sir.
After the research i realize that it will cost almost 15-35$ per wristwatch and my thought is that in my own area(ogbomosho) here i dont think any school will be ready to go for such proposal due to the price. But sir you can still give me some hints or any other advice or idea .

Thanks

Oops, I am just seeing this. Search 1688.com for the wrist watches, not aliexpress.

Thank you so much boss
how i wish if you will be available to mentor till the end.

On the other sectors i will need some funds and of which for i dont have.

Thank you sir.

please update the page

No, you don't need much funds. But start with this school if that will serve as launchpad or springboard to the next level. Let me give a recap of that school idea that someone else did.

He got the watch sample and wrote a proposal to a school. His USP (Unique Selling Proposition) was that students from various sports houses can were the watch with respect to the colour of their sport houses. You can take it a step further and say that it is very imperative to teach students the importance of TIMING and punctuality which by extension should make them wear watches on their arm. You will also say that you can product the watch with the name of the school on it( but make it know that this extra feature will cost extra to add)

What do you think on this idea or do you have another suggestions.

Thanks

great. Search Google on how to market such product or even visit Quora.com to ask how you can market the product to students. Now make sure they buy as much as 1000 with a profit or 500 on it for you. That is 500k profit. Go with sample cos it makes things believable.

Please sir,
Among the products u have imported so far, what was the weight and how many pieces of it, and how much did the shipping company charged?
I asked because sometimes goods might be cheap on the Chinese site but wen u pay the shipping fee, then u will realise that the amount per goods bought is costlier than the price others are selling. Then at this point it will be difficult to sell or u sell at lost.

How do I make reasonable profit from importation?
God bless u as I awaits ur answer.

Well, generally, most people focus on light weight products. The reason is very obvious... it is cost much less for light weight products during shipping. The higher the weight, the higher the cost of shipping. It is that simple.

You don't have to know how many piece I deal on as that makes no sense IMO... it is best to start with what you can cope with. Basically, I usually start by TESTING... at this stage, I usually import just a few pieces. Once I confirm the demand, I go back and import a lot of it. Start small and scale up. It is manageable that way.

Reasonable profit has to do with your pricing structure. You can decide how much profit that you would want to make . I made a profit of 5k for each product sold. 5000x100 = 500,000. With aggressive marketing and FOLLOW UPS on the phone it is possible. you don't have to be lazy. Take note of the caps... I say this because you will experience some popping disappointments if you do not follow up. This is because of courier companies in Nigeria who employ lazy staff with bogus lie. They lie that the person was not reachable but they NEVER called on delivery of the products and so, they had to return the products back. So what do you , you pick up the phone can call your prospects to confirm the status of delivery. In most cases, they buyers often told us that they never called or came to deliver the products. It sucks

But then, Nigerian factor will always have its spot the in scheme of our existence in this country.

It may amaze you to also know that some other guys make as much as 2-3M per month in this same importation. One guy did over 25M this year. but they didn't start today. it was a gradual process.

Pls two question
those agent, do they charged commission for making payment for the Items?

2- Giving a Chines Agent money to make purchase of Goods and to Give a trust worthy Nigerian Shipper, which is better sir? Considering this factors, 1 Challenged of knowing a trustworthy Chines Agent except if you have mentioned one, 2 also communication barriers .

Answer to question one is yes, they do. but very minimal. I mentioned how it works... you deal with each differently. Chinese agent buy for you and send to you shipper using the address of shipper you gave them, Some chinese speak English and we have been communicating with them just fine. Don't just try to bombard them with too much grammar. Communicate like you speak to someone who isn't very learned or lettered and you will just be fine.
