ziziangel: Port harcourt hmmmmm no wonder. Do you have any idea for a product that you can supply? Selling from anywhere outside lagos is tough, except you have trusted person that can help you cater for your goods and its delivery to customers. Otherwise,i would suggest you go the bulk supply route... if you can approach private schools in PH, you will strike a deal to supply and cash out. If you are in a uni, you can sell memory cards and any other things you thing students may desire. |

ziziangel: Good morning bro, can someone give you the name of an item to purchase on his/her behalf on 1688 with your contacts? you don't sound someone based in Lagos. I have caution you... Do away with this mentality of giving anybody money to do something for you. I understand that you may not have the chance or being limited by some factors but at the same time I wish to let you know that this singular act has ruined thousands of Nigerians. I will not collect a dime to do anything for someone. Not because I don't want to OR because I am scared but the truth is if I collect the money, I am not helping you. Because after I deliver, you would want to give someone else in the future that may end up eating you money. Go through nairaland and you will see sorrowful tales. One is currently going in the agric section of nairaland. The one before that one over 30 nairalanders gave one lady that pretended to be onions business woman and swindled a lot of nairalanders of their hard earned money to the tune of Millions of naira. So bro... Stop nurturing that idea of giving people money to do anything for you, especially in a faceless forum like nairaland. It is hard to scam persons like Mr though due to my stance about the we operate km Nigeria. So let me ask, where is your location? |

Things were also hard for Steve Jobs and in that hardship he excelled, so there is no excuse Bros, the Mark Zuck and BILL GATES that we have in Nigeria, who has recognized them? How can you compare fertile land of the US with a barren border such as we have here? Use ur head abeg... |

If I were you, there best business will be importation. I mean you have what it takes to oil your engine. If you are not lazy, you would do well.
You have enough money to help you pay for ads, buy and import products...
Step one, check Aliexpress.com for hot products that SOLVES PROBLEM,
Step two, goto 1688.com to search for whatever product you settle for in step one. It is cheaper to buy from 1688.com than Aliexpress.
Step 3, send the link of your desired product to chinese agent. The chinese agent will buy the product on 1688.com and send to your shipper who will then bring the product to you in Nigeria.
Step 4, Pick up your product from Shipper when it arrive Nigeria.
Step 5, sign up with courier companies such as GIG, ACE, Tranex so that they can help you deliver the goods nation wide.
Step 5, Set up a facebook fan page and pay for ads to sell your products. Make sure you tell them to send their name, address and phone number to your 070000 000 00. When you receive a text, make sure you call them to confirm that they really want it. In fact call them twice or trice before you package their product
Step 6, then take the product to courier companies that you earlier signed up on for onward dispatching
Step 7, courier will deliver, collect your money and send it to you.
Step 8, As you make more money, expand your ads to media buys so that you will be everywhere that eyes can see.
Step 9, You only need less than 300k to make this happen... and make sure you work hard to scale it.
Step 10, RINSE AND REPEAT |

ziziangel: Great job ure doing bro! The only part I get real confused is how to successfully purchase an item from 1688 using a supplier from aliexpress Thanks I have a few contacts. What we all do is just go to 1688.com and settle for the most affordable among the varieties and then send the link to the agent to do the purchase and also send to our desired shipper. |

All4good: I don't think your case has anything to do with being or residing in Nigeria. If you doubt snatch Vegas.com and see if you won't sell it for $1m in less than an hour of your listing it in any market place. Rather than looking for a "professional American" to help close your deal which is very risky; you should be professional by using the established market places or escrow services like Payoneer. I think Abdullah Abdullah gave you a sound advice along same lines. In your outbound proposals direct your prospective end users to bid for your domain in the market place where you have listed them. All the best in your Sales. Well bro... Thanks. I have enough proof that it has everything to do with being a Nigerian. Everything was going fine, he was willing to do the deal right and asked for my bank details But since I did that he has not responded. I have lost a chance to go home with $4000 this year if not for my location. When they ask for prove, they go cold after getting it. I sold bassenergy dot Com to a company that since last year refused to respond to my email because I used a broker and the buyer specifically told the broker she was afraid of dealing with me directly. I am no longer a Nigerian after this one is solved. |

Matthew 16:18: "…And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.".
One slowpoke above should chew on that verse. You didn't even answer his question and your quoted verse hold no substance to the person u you referred to. show biblical backing that states praying to virgin mary is right. |

Na who never see money dey envy this people... truth, money is good but it does not guarantee happiness, especially if you lack the ability find your own happiness. money is good, nobody with a brain will deny that but there is this feeling you have after getting everything u desired with money, there is this empty feeling that comes with it... I mean, nothing spectacular really changed in your inner being, you didn't grow an inch in your height. i believe that is what she is referring to. At best, you get people worshipping you or idolizing you for your status. trust me, it is sucks. just have the money to take care of most important things in your life... kids, wife, husband, food, transport , education and health... every other thing after that is not really too important... but money is good. |

On one hand, I am battling with a shipper who has delayed delivery of a sample/prototype for my presentation and people are already calling me and on another hand, I stupidly ruined a domain sale( most of you here know I flip domain names like burger for profit) and I will have to pay $100 to save the deal. My greed cost me this one... anyway, I learned not dwell on disappointments too long, else i miss the next appointment that might lead to fulfillment... so let's go. |
