Business › Re: When And How Often Should I Update Clients? by 2sexycom(m): 10:19am On Dec 13, 2016 |
ShelterHomes: I have a client but one of the biggest issues I have is communication since he is not in the country .should I update him on progress every week ? Multiple times a week or every two weeks . COMMUNICATION is very important. You should update as much as possible. That way, he will see you as serious person. I personally get weary of people who hardly discuss terms on business. The more you communicate, the better. Do not wait for him to ask, since he is your client! |

Fedric: i have 50k and option to choose either to buy generator or laptop.
lack of generator to continue my business has made my business stagnant/suspence. it is a computer center with 5 desktop computer. haven't make a dine after 8 months of having the office for i abandon it to hustle for money to buy gen.
secondly i am wow and inspired for the posibilities of making it online most expecially the things shared here , CPA, FIVERR BLOGGING etc
i dont know which to spend the money on. what is the posibilities of me making it online for the period of 1 or 2 months if i should buy laptop. This is what you should do. If I were to do this: 1. I will buy the gen 2. I will learn some internet business skills like website design, importation etc 3. Print fliers with capitivating headlines to attract people willing to learn these things 4. get their details: name, email and phone 5. Contact them to fix a date where they can learn these things. 6. Charge them as much as 5,000 for the teaching if for instance you have 5 people attend, that 25,000 in one day. Rinse and repeat and scale it up to 100k-200k per month ventures. It can be done... EDUCATION IS MONEY SPINNER! |

ekanDamie: you lack sense.
it's obvious, u will always be a salary earner till u pass out cos if u have any atom of entrepreneurial spirit in u, u wunt open ur mouth to blab. the fact that we can't produce rice cheaper than the imports does not mean it will never be cheaper, it only means we have not achieved the level of industrialization the foreign products enjoyed. if u patronize local products, and dey enjoy much profit from sales, dey will expand and more volume means less cost of production.
and also dummy, d fact that a product is foreign does not mean it's better than d local, even if it is, d fact that a white child comes first in ur child class, does DAT mean u should disown ur child? d only option u have as a good father is to support ur child and dats what u have to do to locally made products
I can educate u more on d value of local made products even if dey are more expensive and little less inferior, dey create jobs cos all stages of production will be carried out by youths who would have been unemployed if it were imported
try and open ur brain to many more advantages, support ur own and stop disgracing ur intellect here. you get time o. He is among the educated illiterates that span the length and breath of this country. |

One of the domain name I picked earlier this month had a price tagged on it by the buyer but dude went silent for reasons I do not understand. Well, among those I contacted, is another person that just replied me few minutes ago stating interest and we have agreed for a price much higher than the former potential buyer had wanted to pay for it. |

MrDavidson: Please let's not allow tribalism kill us. I'm sure many of us were expecting to see names like Chuk... or Ade.... The truth is, we need to know that the north is very diverse ethnicity-wise. Someone bearing names such as Aliyu could be a Hausa man from Kano, a Fulani man from Sokoto, an Ebira or Igala from Kogi, a Kanuri from Borno, a Yoruba from Kwara, etc - all in the north.
There are at least 50 languages spoken in Adamawa state alone, not to talk of the Nupes from Niger or Kwara. Let's stop lumping the north as one. It's possible that Buhari has not even appointed up to 18 Hausas since he took over.
However, when you hear names like Chukwuka, you're 100% sure he's Igbo unlike in the north. Or when hear names such as Ayokunle, he would be a Yoruba person. Please let's try to understand this very important truth. SHUT UP... when you people talk it's just as if you are the only one who supported the Buhari during the last election. Why neglect other regions? stop trying to justify what is wrong please. Nigeria is not the US. We FIRSTLY Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa before we are NIGERIANS. @sweetlemon, can you see whom you were defending during the Ibe Kachukwu removal? You are from Akwa Ibom, if you can not speak up for your region just because you are married to different tribe then I wonder what you stand for. |

Heads up people.
I do not know what happened but my buyer couldn't send me my money due to some stupid Paypal system that refused to process the transaction but here is a good news.
If you can ensure that you can trust the buyer of your domain name, you can direct then the to send you the money using TRANSFAST.com for transactions up to $1500.
TransFast.com offers a better exchange rate of 285 than most exchangers currently offer and the good news is that the money will be deposited into your local savings bank account.
All you have to do is give your buyer your details which include your name, bank name, bank branch (maybe where you opened the account) and then of course your bank account number. Money will be sent to your account with 24-48 hours.
This is how a lady sent me money from the US 2 months ago as a thank you for what I did for her NGO and that was how I found out. |
Programming › Devcenter Launches Job Platform For Software Developers by 2sexycom(op): 1:58pm On Jul 08, 2016 |
Devcenter, an online community for Nigerian software developers which serves as an intermediary between Nigerian developers and clients on a range of projects from mobile to web applications recently announced the launch it’s jobs platform for software developers.
Devcenter jobs is a solution to further bridge the gap between clients who need software developers on projects and developers who need clients.
For proper client-developer finance, the platform will handle all transactions including invoicing and payments so clients only pay for work properly done. To foster transparency and keep parties concerned satisfied, all developers on the platform are ranked by peer review ratings from the community and ratings from clients.
As an alternative service, clients who don’t have the experience or time to manage a software team can hire Devcenter to deliver their project. They create a project from the site, include a deadline and will get a quote from the company in 24 hours.
“Through the years, we’ve gotten hundreds of developer requests within the community. There are only so many requests we can manually fulfill. We decided to create Devcenter jobs to scale this process. Nigerian developers are at par with the rest of the world. It’s time to get these jobs.” Akin Falomo, Co-founder of Devcenter narrated.
If you find this particularly interesting, you can either post jobs or request a quote on the Jobs Portal. source: https://techpoint.ng/2016/07/08/devcenter-launches-job-platform-for-software-developers/ |
