Sweetlemon: His name sounds like a Christian Northern minority. Don't know why people are shouting Hausa/Fulani up and down. Nigerians really need to learn more about their own country. Not everyone from the north is Hausa or Fulani or even a Muslim. Even Borno state has a large chunck of indegenous Christians. The north has three different regions. Stop lumping them all together. madam, shove that trash down your throat. Buhari is causing more problems by his mode of appointment... the man is simply a Northerner. Is the amount of appointments given to people from his region not enough, are there no other people from other regions to man that post? WTF are you talking about here? |

stingermania: Just to encourage someone. I have finally sold the domain to the company on thursday. I tried a new strategy to reach out to just 2 people and one of them contacted me to finalize the transaction. I sold CarSound.org for $1000 after listing on market places for over 3 months with no single bid talkless of offer. Attached is the screenshot the company sent to me and how i got the funds through an exchanger at 290/$ . I hope this will inspire someone to keep trying.. you protect the privacy of your buyers. do not give out sensitive information. hacker crawl nairaland like spider. |

ChimaAdeoye: Type of threads that make people mock the SE.
Just look at the gravel road and it's tiny width with no gutters. Only God knows its length.
Anyhow, tell this guy to invest in agriculture, poultry and build small agro-based factories to employ youths in his community. That will help develop his place much faster than the 100 short gravel roads. you are just being myopic. How will you transport the said produce of your proposed "idea"from a community that has no motorable linkage with other towns. Have you done what this man has done for your own people or even half of it? That road isn't complete yet and mind you, he is doing something that is supposed to be the job of the government but no, he never waited for them to do it. He ACTED... That is selfless spirit on an igbo man. During my NYSC days, we igbos were making plans to leave a legacy in a yoruba community while the yorubas among us were sabotaging it. The principal had to call the 2 saboteurs among us and told them point blank that they are a disgrace to the yorubas and that he is ashamed of them considering we are from a different region of the country. In a country like Nigeria, how many people do what this man is doing for their respective communities? If we had 100000 of such man, so many communities will be devoid of mud houses in today's age. Appreciate the heart that house the idea to build that road. Do you know how much it cost to build a road? At least, it is better than it was before and after all, he is not the only one from that community. |

Obie234: You shouldn't have bothered stating where you're from we already know you type. I thought you arrogant fools only marry yourselves why bother about Imo state, we beg you If our girls are not good enough leave them for us we would marry them. Seems you are just one misguided pauper trying to seek attention here... By the way your sister is also a runs girls and so was your mother(look closely) before she met that swine that fathered you to come here and post gibberish. dude, when someone says something that annoy you, OUT of RESPECT and as a well cultured lad, leave parents out of it, no matter how provoked you are. What you just wrote angered me cos you have no idea what parents go through in life their kids, give them the honour they deserve. I can have you stab me with a knife but nver insult a parent in my presence. It's same way I won't stand aside and watch some insult your mother. They deserve that honour and sacred respect. |

Obie234: After telling us why girls like you engage in runs you decide to post this after. You should be ashamed of yourself, the fact that you're a hungry, impoverished who*e does not mean you should come here and bash a whole state. Just cos you went to poorly managed wedding with the sole intention of eating and you were treated like trash which obviously you are not far from, does not give you to right to speak trash about my people. Who the hell are you by the way? Don't even come to our state again talk more of sleeping here, we are better off without bigots like you. Your friend(if she really is) should be ashamed to have someone like you as a friend... No go marry stay there dey badmouth people wedding. Ewu
This ethnocentrism is the main reason why I dislike most people from anambra state who feel they are far better off than others. I vow never to have anything to do with you people not even as an inlaw. Lol... her friend is Lucky nau.. na the man wey go marry this one go enter one chance. I so so so much detest girls like this. MRBrownJ: any fools/sheep can come up with whatever BS fake stories and/or what not... we know who they are, as they are very active on NL every sunday (after their weekly dose of brainswashing) bro, last time I ever stepped my foot in church was in January, which means, I am not an active church goer, mostly busy chasing my dream but it does not mean I don't believe in God. This thing actually happened. I would have not attached any meaning to it had I not see the mode of entry of the lightening. I can't make you believe what you never saw but the day you experience something that your human senses can't comprehend nor explain, you will understand better. |
Christianity Etc › Can ANY Atheist Explain This? by 2sexycom(op): 1:29pm On Jul 03, 2016 |
I am not sure but my faint knowledge of atheism is that they do not believe in the supernatural but the physical existence of forces. They always seem to have scientific explanation for everything and therefore, I would need a peace of that of their scientific proof on what I wish to share.
In 2008, at about 1 PM it rained and as I was about to take a nap, I heard the loudest thunder I ever heard since I was born. It was so loud like a bomb that I stood up in frights. Few minutest later, about 30 minutes, I started hearing loud cry from an adjacent street. I went out to see what was happening and 7 houses after the junction close to mine were gathered a crowd sorrowful souls. This increased the curiosity in me and I probe to know what had transpired.
At the house where people gathered, the shocks on people's faces announced that something terrible had taken place--DEATH.
Someone died at the strike of that thunder that woke me up. No! It wasn't just a thunder but there is more.
Minutes after my arrival at the compound where this scene of death had occurred, a middle aged lady came out of the house with bruises and bleeding on her left arm.
Did she die and woke up? No she was inside the room when it happened and she was the rescuer, trying to save the victim who drew the wrath of the Sango (god of thunder) or Amadioha. In course of trying to save someone, she was burnt.
Initially, I didn't attach much importance to the horrible incidence but then, my amebo eyes scouted around and I was told where the lightening passed through.
Now, here is where I want the Atheist to explain to me. The louver glass windows were closed, there was a net in front of it.
If you have seen louvers, you will notice that there is allows some spaces at the top or bottom of the frames, never completely closed, due to technical or mechanical inaccuracies of its maker.
The lightening that struck NEVER destroyed the louvers, considering its haphazard nature, it simply burnt the net (I saw the burnt circular area of the net), pass through the opening at the top and struck its victim to death.
Can any Atheist in the house explain to me how lightening suddenly grew sense of not wanting to destroy louvers, smartly selected its mode of entry before killing its victim? |

Dottore: My dear you are right but come to think of it, they didn't create their social media for international flavor judging from the language.
Secondly their socialist system of government has ranked them as a the world's trade hub, world's largest exporter of goods /services, world's largest flight destination and second world best economy and seriously gearing to become the first. So don't you think Nigeria needs iron fist to progress. For instance their retributive system of crime control has made political positions and embezzlement of public funds very unattractive. If you have been to China you will discover that politics is not attractive also you can hardly see convoy of cars nor sirens. How dare you.
Don't you think we need such in Nigeria? We do but will Nigerians accept? Social media alone is doing more harm to this country than we realise, with the proliferation of bloggers who spread lies like virus all for adsense clicks. |

Dottore: So they are just realizing that Nigerians are big shoppers. SEBI THEY WERE DOING Sakara. PayPal would have recorded tremendous earnings if they had included Nigeria from the early days of their operations. Similarly Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) could have been among top 3 richest men in the world by now if he didn't succumb to the advise of his arrogant and imperial countrymen. China has a policy that any foreign company wishing to trade in China must either partner with a similar indigenous company in China or establish an operational base in China thereby making Chinese citizens to take greater ratio of the workforce of the establishment among other benefits to the Chinese government. This policy is especially in force in the automotive industry. This explains why most if not all automobile manufacturing companies have production/assembly plants in China. If an automobile manufacturer fails to indigenize the production of their products or a particular brand in China, the resultant effect is that you will not be allowed to sell the products in China but you risk Chinese local manufacturers counterfeiting your revered product and selling it cheaper but with a different and funny sounding brand name. Like the case of BMW X6 clone bearing "Qin Xi" or so and selling for as low as 150,000RMB equivalent of less than 4million naira for brand new. Also the case of a certain Greely brand counterfeiting Rolls Royce&oq and selling it for as low as less than equivalent of 6million yet with all the facilities in genuine rolls Royce. Zuckerberg refused the Chinese deal at the onset forgetting that China has almost half of the world's active internet users per day. So Chinese government blocked Facebook IP from officially opening in China then went ahead and invested in other local software firms (tercent and baidu) to create social media very similar to Facebook by the time Zuckerberg relapsed his mistake the local firms had not only become very popular and widely acceptable but preferable amongst the Chinese. I don't know whether the new Chinese president has officially lifted the ban on Facebook in China.
How I wish Nigerian government could be wise enough to adopt such people oriented economic policies. lol... your last paragraph made me laugh... Nigerian government who are beggars? does a beggar have choice? You tell me. |

Truth234: I know First Bank don't have such agreement, but they can. You don't seems to understand how this works but I am in a system that is using this methodology and at a point had something similar to Nigerian situation before a commercial bank stepped forward, our commercial banks need to spend money on R& . They can't do anything with CBN. The banks would need to reach out to CBN in order to fashion out the way forward. |
