Pedagogue:
This is very misleading. To 'invent' is to create. There are so many gas-powered irons in the market. So how can this be his invention? I'm always quick at celebrating ingenuity, but this is not INGENIOUS!

Don't get me wrong. The young chap has done very well, but let's always say the truth. This is not an invention. It's a caricature.

Nigeria will only be respected in the comity of nations if and when we have genuine inventions.

you wasted your time educating people who not really know the meaning of "invention" including the Nigerian press/media, who have also contributed to the abuse and misuse of the word.

Nigeria s should react to all this Nonsense now, northerners contribute nothing to the development of this country yet they rip all the benefit. All they know is to behead people. School they won't go.

Very easy, buy a small phone that can video. Buy a memory card of 32gig. Put the phone in aircraft mode (u will see the symbol of a plane). Then adjust the volume to the loudest. When he calls for you anytime. Press recording and place the phone on your waistline facing forward, start recording as you lev ur table. When you enter the office, repeatedly say 'Goodday Sir, you called for me' , do not sit, because he may come behind you and grab your waist. When he trys anything, make sure he 'touches you probably on your boobs' and then you say 'Mr so and so, I am warning you to please stop these harassments, this is X number of times, you are Sexually Harrasing me. You keep touching my buttocks, waist and even pressing or rubbing your p E n I s when you pass by my ass'. Pls before you record and place the phone on your hips, try it at home and see if it will record as you are walking around in your closet.

Make money off him. How?

Next time he tryna harass you, Just stylishly get your phone to record this conversation.

Question his motive then after his slick answer of "why are you acting like a virgin?"

Slap the daylight out of him maybe twice.

He would fire you, then you sue his pervert a ss to court. Your phone recorded convo would serve as evidence againt him. OR if he doesn't fire you, he will never harass you again.

But ensure you slap him because that would be the reason you gonna get fired or respected if not fired.
spy pen will more damage or dent to his image than just phone recording.

Adeosun and team were in the UK few weeks ago on a roadshow for 'Finance' . . . probably they should think of other places/strategies.

Transport especially railways, is another 'mad-money-making-machine'. I read some docs about Lagos' railway network and its prospective over 2 million commuters a day (2m*N100=N200 million every day), and I was like, wow!!! And that is just Lagos out of 36 states . . . factor-in inter-state routes and the possibilities are just overwhelming!

There is major infrastructural deficit in our transport sector (air, sea, and land); we need to tap into that . . . most developed countries today earn a good chunk of their living/income from selling services.

We can't wait till we get enough money or loans, we should amend the laws to lure investors in and develop those.

And there is still the 'small matter' about our Ajaokuta steel complex. sad
When I read comments likes yours, mine not exclusive, it makes me wonder whether we are more intelligent and smarter than those whom we have elected to govern our collective affairs. Since the birth of Nigeria, these men have been visiting western worlds, isn't it a shame that they can not even borrow knowledge?

In the current world, things do not have to be as difficult as we make it look in Nigeria because greater minds have done most of the leg work. All that is needed is just get people and pay them to do the job.

One thing that irks me most is the fact that Nigerian leaders are very daft at creating wealth such as you have proposed here.... but are very good at borrowing and accumulating debts.

Get these men to develop the country, provide them with best security and support and watch them turn Nigerian into paradise like their wester world... but no, idiotic and myopic minds will undermine something that will benefit his people all for selfish reasons.

As it stands, developed countries have little or nothing to develop in their lands... they are looking for places to develop, they have the money, they have the knowledge, they have the skill... all they need is security and support from the government, which is hugely lacking in Nigeria and majority of Africa at large.

They are so many ways to generate wealth in this country WITHOUT borrowing BUT those at the helm of affair are completely daft and ignorant. Nigeria is one of the countries with the highest population of Msc and Phd holders in the world but almost among the most impoverished, every year, people are sponsored to do Msc and Phd, but they add little or NOTHING to the development of the country because they go and come back hoping to start applying for jobs, instead of creating jobs.

This country is just sick beyond redemption

Iron is strong, but steel is stronger. Steel is iron mixed with other elements. Can't remember the exact elements now.

Stainless steel is steel mixed with chromium which is resistant to corrosion.

Wrought iron is just bended iron.

Iron is cheaper than steel, but is still very strong. For stainless steel, you're paying extra for shine and added strength. How strong do railings need to be? Iron is plenty strong for the job, and is not tacky or gaudy like shiny steel.

I'm only talking about staircase railings though.
if my memory on chemistry serves me right, I think the element is Carbon which makes steel an alloy.

You have not met some really smart and intelligent Northerners. They may be educationally backward in the region but many of them are intelligent, though not literate enough. How are they intelligent you might ask... They the most united region in the country and it takes smartness plus intelligence to understand the power of unity, which other regions currently lack.

I still don't like it!! They are probably using "ranches" to delude people since the word grazing reserve is causing people to react strongly...

It's a business for goodness sakes. Government shouldn't be responsible for providing the ranches, the cattle breeders are supposed to make their arrangements themselves like others in Agric business and all other kinds of business do.

Do they provide poultry farmers, fish ponds even the big time mechanized farmers with lands to establish, expand, so why the favouritism for a particular group?

We are watching you & will react accordinglyl!!

Thanks for this wonderful post. What if you could not get the decision maker email and the only email on their site is the generic info@enduserdomain.com or a contact form, what will you do. Also please if you found out that end user opened the email using streak but did not reply to it will you still email them again or you let go.Thanks
well, if you can not get the decision maker's email, it will be hard to sell.

For instance, when I sold California Egg Donors dot come, you won't believe that I had contacted the company that bought it from me before BUT it wasn't through the decision maker's email at first.

So how did I get in touch with the decision maker? Well, it was pure MIRACLE. MIRACLE? oh yeah ! smiley Here is the gist...

I reached out to over 20 hospitals and no reply from any of them... and I had moved on. Funnily enough, one company had wanted to pay $250 which I had almost sold but they changed their mind. I felt devastated as this took place within a space of 5 minutes... I didn't know God had a better plan for me.

About 1 month later, one of the companies I contacted forwarded my email to the buyer who is a different company entirely. And it sold x4 of the initial offered $250.

In the 2 cases, both the one that wanted to pay $250 and the final buyer, I was in touched with the decision maker.

It was after the deal had been completed that I scanned my email and noticed I had contacted the company that bought the domain name from me but it didn't get to the decision maker because the email on whois wasn't his, even though it looked like it.

If they opened the email and didn't respond, they are not interested. Move on to the next person.

Well, how does this benefit most of us who want to buy things online or pay for services? At what rate shall we be charged? These people should, for once, allow the man on the street get same things as quoted on pages of papers.

What shall it profit I to read on nairaland that some rates are 250-280/$ and when I want to purchase something online or pay for a service, I am charged 350/$?

They should please stop bugging us with things that does not benefit us, except the elite few.

Business › Re: My Domain Flipping Experience... Revealed by 2sexycom(op): 6:02pm On Jun 29, 2016
During sales of a domain name, there are two approaches involved.

You either reach out to the buyer or you wait for them to come for it. I have had the opportunity of experiencing both scenes but I will like to talk about the case of reaching out to buyer.

If you must make sale, then make sure you are contacting a major decision maker in order to get that $$$. Some times you could check the whois and not find any clues of the decision maker or owner of the domain name aside that of the website designer or admin.

This can serve as a major obstacle. If that happens, check on their website to see if you would find any clues. Sometimes when I check the whois and I see a name there, I dig further to ascertain whether the person's name there is the actual owner of the company and this has greatly helped me.

Once I know he/she is the owner of the website involved, all I do is use their name as subject of my messages in order to pull their attention to read what I have to say and I have had more open rates with this method.

Hello bro. Do you test the laptops you sell to people? The one I bought for my cousin from you not long ago has a problem of going off. I noticed it when I got home and thought may be it was just temporary. I have sent the laptop to him and he has been complaining that the laptop goes off on its own during usage and the battery does not last as much as you mentioned (3hours). He said at most 1 hour.

I trusted your judgement based on your rep on here. I had even referred a friend to this thread but I am afraid I might have tell him to hold on.

Until importation is discouraged by devaluation, no fixed rate of dollar will stand over time...

Nigeria doesn't have an economy yet, if we don't deliberately fast now, we shall be forced to fast later by reality.

Now miss smartypants what is your solution cos your response didn't even suggest one
You know when people you talk about discouraging importation I laugh. Is our power sector working to begin with? Give people constant power supply and watch Nigeria transform herself in just 5-7 years.
